Brian and Michelle of By Design Builders did a condo remodel for me in Maui. The entire experience was fantastic. They were professional but very personable and focused on what would make "me" happy. We hired Brian and Michelle of "BY DESIGN Builders" to repair our condo in Kihei, Maui, following a water leak/flood from the unit above ours. We were fortunate to have met them while they were working on an extensive renovation in our building. The job that they were performing looked to be top notch, and we found them extremely friendly and approachable. It was therefore an easy choice for us on who we would call to perform the rebuild of our condo. They were extremely responsive and were on site within a few hours of our call. As we were not on the island for the rebuild, Michelle and Brian took it upon themselves to make sure our condo was rebuilt to even a better standard than what it was before the flood. They gave us daily updates, including pictures of the progress of the work, and were extremely helpful with any questions and concerns that we had. They went above and beyond what we expected a contractor to do in addition to the actual repair (from dealing with our insurance adjustor to purchasing damaged furnishings). The work they performed was exceptional, and many thanks to Brian and Michelle for fixing our little piece of paradise.

Design Builders is an excellent contractor. Brian performed a substantial renovation to the bathrooms in our condo on Maui. His attention to detail and design capabilites are impecable. They did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

As new condo owners, we had no idea about the challenges involved with doing an extensive remodel project on an island in the middle of the ocean. Thank goodness we had By Design in charge of the project! They know how to get things done over here and do not cut corners in the process.
