Capaldi Building Company

Capaldi Building Company was founded in 1945 by Fred Sr. He began building homes in the southwestern suburbs of Detroit, for returning WWII veterans. In the 1950's, work moved north to Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills and in 1965 Fred Jr. joined the company. As we continued to grow, we also continued to expand our operations. Our next stop was northern Oakland county where we launched developments in Rochester and Orion township. Over the next 30 years Fred Sr. and Jr. continued to push the company goals and found themselves working both the remodeling side and custom homes division. In the late 90's, Fred's son Tim joined the company full time and the third generation was born. Today the company is run by Fred Jr. and Tim and has grown to be a well-respected, third-generation owned and operated family business that puts customers and quality first. Our expertise ranges from large scale remodeling projects to custom new builds and our attention to detail, experience, and passion for the industry is what keeps us evergreen in home building and remodeling.
