We had a fantastic experience working with Chad and his staff. He was reliable & experienced. We built a house that took a year to complete. We always knew what was going on and there were never any surprises. I like a company that does what they promise they are going to do!

We have built seven custom homes for ourselves in the last 40 years. I have also done several commercial buildings, both light industrial and office. We now live in FL and would be doing this house on Lake Norman long distance, our third such absentee project. Of all of our experiences in both residential and commercial, Chad and his team were absolutely phenomenal and are at the top of our list of builders. In July 2015, I asked him for a completion date and he told me, "the end of May - beginning of June 2016. We had our CO the end of the first week in June!, not too typical in the building industry. The quality of his subs (a key point in building) was for the most part very good, with one problem that Chad immediately rectified. There was little or no down time between subs. Lisa, his admin manger, made it extremely easy for us as she was very proactive and thorough in dealing with all the ordering and scheduling issues. She also did a great job of managing us, which can be a time killer on any project. Above making this a very low stress project, they were downright fun to work with. We initially had contacted Chad Goodin Homes because he has a reputation as a quality contractor in the Lake Norman, NC area. From the start of the project, Chad Goodin was responsive to our questions and concerns. He also provided recommendations throughout the project that kept our build,on budget, and enhanced the look and functionality of the house. Initially the build was estimated to take one year to complete, but Chad had it fully completed in 10 months. It was his relationships with his subcontractors that allowed the work on the house to remain ahead of schedule, with no downtime in work being completed at the house. We appreciated Chad Goodin' s house building skills and his attention to the project and our needs. We liked Chad and his employees as people, and that reduced the stress normally associated with a project of this type. I would (and have) highly recommend Chad Goodin Homes to anyone in need of a general contractor for new home construction, renovations, or home additions.

I hired Chad Goodin after a bad experience with another builder and architect. Chad worked closely with me and an architect to design a house within our budget. He showed me many projects that he completed with similar budgets and similar project types. I spoke to those clients and they had a good experience. Our project went very smoothly and Chad and his team were very professional and easy to work with and they communicated regularly with me which was important. The project stayed on budget to what was quoted. We made modifications to the project and Chad worked with us on all changes and was very transparent so that there were no surprises. We had a very good experience and would use Chad for future projects.

I hired Chad Goodin's firm to build a 3,600 sq ft, 2-story, custom lakefront home on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. This scope of the project included demolition through new construction. The project was completed on time. I found Chad, himself, and his entire team to be highly professional, competent and communicative. I was always made to feel like their top priority. A couple of minor follow-up items that have popped up after the CO was issued have been promptly taken care of, which speaks volumes about the integrity of Chad, his employees and his relationship with his subcontractors.
