Chaparrel Construction did an AMAZING job on our back patio! I had an idea of what I wanted and, with just a few brief meetings, Mike was able to create a design that satisfied all of my requirements plus gave me things I hadn’t even dreamed of. We added a concreate multi-level deck, partially covered by a steepled/rafted roof and partially covered by a pergola. Both Doug and Mike were involved during every step of the construction, sometimes showing up multiple times a day to check the work. At one point, Doug had the contractors pull down some large beams and begin again because they weren’t right. They could have taken a short cut, but that isn’t the quality of work that Chaparrel would be proud of. Doug was even pickier than I could be on all of the little things that make the end result so spectacular. They did a great job of combining giving me access to their experience and wisdom with letting me make decisions. Our friends say our back patio now looks like a ski chalet! It’s beautiful! In the future, I will definitely go back to Chaparrel to add our outdoor kitchen.

I love my house after having a remodel done by Doug Kurtz. He has been a pleasure to work with. He is bright, professional, available and prompt. He gave us sound advice for the most economical, yet aesthetic solution for our remodel at a price we could afford. Wonderful 5 star service. It is amazing what can be accomplished with limited space.
