Chroma Reno+Design

We asked Patrick to create a new bathroom and storage space for us in the basement of our century-old house in Ottawa. We were definitely not looking for “cookie cutter”, but instead something distinctive and quirky that harmonized well with the basement’s old stone foundation and brick walls. What Patrick created is spectacular: a beautiful, calm space with repointed stone on the outer walls, exposed beams in the ceiling and whitewashed brick, and tiled and painted surfaces that are visually interesting but not cluttered-looking. Even the vanity that Patrick created is striking, with unfinished and antiqued wood surfaces and drawers made from wine crates. And the whole project went very smoothly, with all of the members of Patrick’s team doing a great job. In short, the result was well beyond our expectations. We would recommend Patrick for remodelling work without any hesitation.

Patrick helped us to renovate our basement and we were very happy with the results. The design that he came up with was great and really in line with what we were looking for. Likewise, he and his wife were really pleasant and easy to get along with. The quality of the work he did was also excellent. Everything was done very meticulously and with an eye for detail. We had Patrick design and built the interior of our backyard shed into a space which creatively doubles for storage and for sleeping in the summer. He did an absolutely amazing job. It was exactly what we were looking for. Excellent workmanship. He does fantastic work. We will be hiring him again.

After the great experience we had on the basement, we hired Patrick again to install a bathroom/laundry room in our basement. Everything was done better than expected and in the end, all was nicely cleaned up! He's got a good talent for seeing how to make a renovation design idea come to life and be streamlined into the existing home. He's done work for my walls, ceilings, shelving, repairs, painting, and a full closet renovation. He takes pride in his work and I would hire him a third time for sure!
