Clockwork Builders recently completed 3 jobs for us: renovated the powder room, renovated the kids/hall bath, and opened up the stairwell to our basement. The crew and their work were excellent. They were punctual, tidy, and great communicators. And if that's not enough, they were ahead of schedule for every milestone and stayed within budget the whole time! In our 35 years of home ownership we have done 7 medium - large size projects with 4 different contractors. My husband and I both agree, Clockwork is the best we've ever used. We highly recommend them.

Clockwork Builders did a full basement renovation for us. They listened carefully to what we were looking for and put together a professional plan and timeline. As their name suggests, they arrived on time every day and always left our basement in good shape at the end of their work day. Our basement was completely unfinished and it now is a wonderful space complete with an exercise room and full bath. We couldn't be happier and will definitely use Clockwork Builders again. We tell everyone that our basement has now earned the right to be called the lower level! We are so glad we chose Clockwork for our project.

Clockwork Builders designed and built a pavilion for our backyard patio that is first-class and exactly what we envisioned. The owner, John Riley, couldn't have been better to work with. He was attentive and responsive at every step of the project, and he and his crew took great pride in their work. We were so pleased with Clockwork's craftsmanship that we hired them for several smaller projects -- all of which were executed flawlessly.

Our experience with Clockwork was excellent! I had a complex problem - demo an outdoor porch floor and rebuild it so that it did not leak. I had discussions with several contractors who did not know how to solve the issue OR wanted to charge a large amount of money. During the sales phase, John listened carefully, inspected the porch, then studied the options. He came back with a proposal that outlined the complete technical solution as well as each phase of construction. Clockwork provided all of the information I needed where other contractors hadn't provided a specific way to mitigate the leak or any specifications on the quality of their construction. Clockwork construction quality was very high. Demo was quickly done, framing was neatly and precisely replaced and the subfloor was rebuilt to a level surface. The tile was laid very well with a consistent grout line. All of the finish steps were also done very completely, railings were re-installed, columns and bases were painted and every spec of trash was removed. It was also a pleasure to interact with the people that performed the work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clockwork for interior or exterior projects. The quality of their work was very high and John maintained constant communication with my wife and I.

Their estimated are thorough and broken down to eliminate questions and provide clarity from the start. They are responsive and on time every day. They go out of their way to deal with project challenges if they come up and always leave the project site in great shape. You will be very happy with their work and with working with them!

We hired John because we were acquainted with him and he had done some work on our porch many years ago. This bathroom project grew with many suggestions from our designer, and John's crew was up to the task. His man Bill is a wonderful asset. John is easy to work with and pleasant in all his interactions even when a disagreement arises. He gives detailed estimates for the work and there are no surprise expenses. We love our improved bathroom!

Used Clockwork Builders twice now with wonderful results. John Riley and his crew were amazing to work with. Bill was the gentleman who worked on both our bathrooms and gave us many useful suggestions. His suggestions really did help to make our bathrooms more functional and beautiful. The work was done with extreme care, thoughtfulness, and craftsmanship. Two bathrooms full of tile work and Bill did not break or miss cut a single tile! Yes, I now have extra tiles since you are supposed to allot for breakage. Clockwork Builders work on all size projects and treats everyone as if theirs is a million dollar project. Our friends inspected our bathrooms and were so impressed they hired John to redo their bathroom and are extremely pleased with the results. I will be calling John for our next remodeling job.
