We have worked with Conestogo Carpenters to undertake renovations of two historic homes over the past five years as well as to build five pole barns of various sizes. The heritage home renovations were challenging, given our goal to retain as much of the historic value and original building materials as possible. Conestogo Carpenters not only understood and shared our vision of how to simultaneously restore and renovate these homes to bring them into the 21st century, but also had the unique expertise, and know-how to address the complex traditional building techniques required by these renovations. We could not be happier with the design, high calibre of workmanship, and state of the art innovations that were incorporated into these renovations. Conestogo Carpenters is an incredible company in that they tell you what they are going to do and do what they say. We have hired them twice in the previous years and each time we get an incredible project manager, a motivated construction team who leave the site neat and tidy at all times and they never make anything look like an inconvience even if you change your mind partway through the construction. We bought a home built by Conestogo Carpenters. I got to know some of the crew during this process and watched them build other homes in our area. I have found them to be very caring of their work and the end results are excellent. Their attitude towards quality is very good. They also provided good tips and advice throughout the process. Very customer service focussed. They also bring on board other trades people with same attitude. I was so satisfied that they are now doing a major addition to my daughter's home. I would highly recommend them.

What started as a simple request for a quotation to frame our new house turned into one of the best experiences that we have had in quite some time. Clayton from the office had given us some options regarding some additional work that we might be interested in. This conversation led to Conestogo Carpenters supplying the complete lumber package, roofing of our choice, complete siding package & all exterior windows & doors from their premier supplier all priced within reason. We were given a start & completion date to which they adhered to with no exceptions. Javin, Jeremy & Charlie arrived every day on time with no time wasted on getting to their tasks of the day. All of the workers on site were very professional & well learned in all of the aspects of completing our new house. They required no supervision & when a question or request did arise the issues were discussed & dealt with immediately. Their schedule allowed us to bring in the remainder of our sub trades on time to complete the house in a timely fashion. The complete office staff were always available & willing to answer all questions with Clayton keeping us informed. The carpenters on site were true tradesmen & gentlemen with a keen eye for details never losing sight of the end goal. In conclusion we would like to extend the most heartfelt thank you for a job well done which exceeded all expectations & would have no hesitation for Conestgo Carpenters to return for any project that we could have in the future. Be prepared if you choose Conestogo Carpenters for your renovations to have the work done really well and on time. I have nothing but praise for the extensive renovation work that Ron, Jeremy, Javin and the rest of the crew did on my home. The work included - dormer addition on second floor, bathroom complete reno, add a bathroom, sunroom addition, new flooring throughout the house and many little additional 'might as well' jobs that they were very flexible about. I was also very pleased with all of the suppliers that they recommended as well. Everyone delivered on time and with great craftsmanship. Thanks to Conestogo Carpenters I now have my perfect home.

We were looking for our dream cottage and Conestogo Carpenters delivered just that. From the initial stages of quoting, right through end of project, we found Jeremy and his crew to be conscientious, hard-working, skilled, and honest. Helpful suggestions were also brought forward along the way. They do great work, and a lot of the work themselves, any sub-trades they brought in were also superior.
