We had an excellent experience working with Craft Home Remodeling on the full remodel of our three-bedroom townhome in San Diego. From the start, their team excelled for both their design sensibility and their ability to execute flawlessly and within the agreed timeframe. Since we were living out of town during the remodel, this was primarily accomplished using Zoom, Facetime and phone updates as the project progressed. Craft helped us think through the layout, materials, and details in a way that felt thoughtful for the space and our sensibilities, modern, and well-suited to how we actually live. The design process was collaborative and clear, and they brought strong, realistic ideas while also listening closely to our preferences and priorities. On the execution side, the project was extremely well managed. Communication was consistent and generous, timelines were clear, and the quality of craftsmanship across the entire home (from the kitchen and bathrooms to flooring, lighting, and finishing steps) was excellent. The team was professional, organized, and respectful of our space throughout the build. The result exceeded our expectations. The home feels cohesive, bright, uplifting, and beautifully finished, and the process itself was far less stressful than we anticipated because of professionalism and responsiveness of the Craft team. We would absolutely recommend Craft Home Remodeling to anyone looking for a true end-to-end partner for a full remodel, especially if you expect great design and high-quality execution.

The decision of who to hire for major home remodeling is so filled with anxiety. You don’t know who to trust. You must be so careful when you choose who you will allow to invade your home (and your bank account) with promises to fulfill your vision for a transformation of your house. You need a contractor who is honest, trustworthy, and excellent in the fulfillment of your dream. Basically, you don’t want the anguish of buyer’s remorse when the final payment is made. I recently had the experience of contracting with Joey Dahan of Craft Home Remodeling. I write this review after having some weeks to settle into the transformation of my home. Joey delivered exactly what he promised in a very tight schedule. His communication skills are excellent in terms of clarity, possibilities and cost. There was no guile I had to decipher, and he was very transparent about everything from materials, to design possibilities, to his work crew. His team of professionals working with him implementing the renovation were superb from their preliminary demo to the finishes. The people were obviously cross-trained for multiple work specialties such as electrical and construction. This bonus element of workers with multiple specialties completely cut out the wasted time most homeowners experience waiting for the electric sub-contractor or tile sub-contractor to finally show up to work on your project. Also, it was terrific to have the typical project “bumps” addressed with a positive attitude by everyone involved who delivered the finishes with pride. To sum up my experience with Craft Home Remodeling: The renovation was on time, stuck to the budget, and lived up to my expectations of quality performance, people, and personal service.

Joey Dahan at Craft Home Remodeling and his team were fantastic to work with. From the start- zoom meetings with designers to put together the layout, to choosing product, to managing other teams coming in to do work, they were easy to work with and there for every step. Our project was a big one with many moving parts- from building out a deck, landscaping, installing pavers and steppers, landscape lighting, irrigation, electrical, finishing an ADU, pouring a concrete drive way, full garage refinishing and more, everything was coordinated by Craft Home Remodeling. Joey was readily available to meet with us, a great communicator and overall great guy to work with. We highly reccommend!

It has been a joy to complete the project with Joey, the contractor. I vividly remember our very first meeting, where he explained the project in detail—what it would involve, how it would unfold, and how it would ultimately be completed. Throughout our interactions, Joey was confident and provided invaluable guidance. He mentioned that he works with passion, not for money, and I can attest to that. I have extremely high standards, and the project required careful attention to detail at every corner. We faced several challenges along the way, including incorporating new designs and materials, but Joey handled everything flawlessly. He is undoubtedly the best contractor in San Diego. I’ve worked with several contractors before, but none can compare to Joey. He delivers exceptional work at a reasonable price, always putting the customer first. We selected Joey and the CRAFT Home Remodeling team after interviewing 4-5 different contractors for our remodeling project which included a complete reconfiguration and remodel of our master and guest bathroom, a refresh of our kitchen and fireplace, and various other pieces around the house. This was our first remodel, so we were looking for a contractor to help guide us through the process at a reasonable price. Joey was a great combination of professional, personable, and reliable that also had a good eye for design. While we did have a designer help with planning, Joey also helped us independently select our guest bath materials. We were also expecting our first child so we had a very strict deadline to adhere to. Joey and his team met our expectations and more at every step of the way and really cares about his clients. They understand this is a big undertaking for a new home owner and was very responsive to my many inquiries and questions. The results of the project speak for themselves. Joey's entire team was very professional and did a great job with each project. The tile work in our bathrooms and kitchen was installed very well, along with the fixtures, vanity and other appliances. As we we moved out during the process, Joey uploaded progress photos every few days so we could keep a close eye on how things were progressing. We were impressed at how quickly the team worked while not sacrificing quality to meet our deadline for being complete before the birth of our child. What separates Joey and the team from other contractors was his communication and willingness to accommodate changes as we saw the project come together. We also checked in a few times and noticed a few small things that needed to be fixed or changed. Joey and his team were quick to remedy anything we saw that needed a fix. Overall we highly recommend Joey and his team if you're looking for a contractor with exceptional communication skills and a caring personality with an eye for design and what makes sense and is feasible. We will definitely be reaching back out to Joey for other projects in the future.

Before doing a complete renovation of our kitchen, breakfast room, family room, and guest bathroom, we interviewed four contractors. Joey from Craft really stood out! He understood our vision immediately. His large team executed our vision to perfection. In addition, he finished way sooner than any of the other contractors told us it would take.
