We planned a whole house remodel during a Pandemic! The project could have been plagued with numerous obstacles. Materials became difficult to find at times, and Domenichini employees went out of their way to find needed parts. Our timeline was adhered to, promises kept as trades hired by D.R.D took pride in their work and showed respect to us and the project manager at all times. Can't say enough about the awesome project manager, Scott. Scott pointed out any issues/mistakes before I had to and had a remedy in place instantly. My kitchen turned out Amazing! The whole team is there with you every step of the way. We worked most closely with Amber, Tom, and Nicole and they were all fantastic. Expect that they will the highest price for your bid. They are not inexpensive but they are worth every dime. I have already recommended them to my brother in law to have his kitchen done and I will be having them do my master bath in the near-ish future.

They demo'd and dry-walled the old fireplace surround one day, set the new stone and tile the next, then set a new gorgeous mantel and touch-up painting the 3rd day. They were prompt (starting at 8am each morning), incredibly neat and clean. I received email updates daily. I could reach Jessica any time I had questions and she replied promptly. For a company who does such amazing major renovations, it was very special to have them do my fireplace surround and in such a short time, making a major impact to my living/family room. We recently had Dave and his team complete a large project that involved converting our garage to a second master bedroom and addition of a 3 car garage and art studio. Prior to choosing Dave we had interviewed 3 other Contractors, but Dave stood out, and we felt comfortable knowing that he understood our vision. His team is very professional, always on time & schedule and committed to doing a great job! It was a 6-month project that was completed on the exact day promised! Dave and crew installed a Whole House Fan in my 40+ yr old home. We LOVE it! it is quiet and has a lot of power. The instillation went very smoothly, the guys working on the project were there on time, very polite, and made Zero mess. Seriously, couldn't be happier, with the fan or with the service.

TL;DR If you have any need for construction services then don’t walk, run to DRD construction! At the end of your project you will be very pleased that you did! The entire DRD Construction team are consummate professionals (knowledgeable, communicative, reliable, customer oriented and genuinely great people to work with). They offer high quality at a reasonable price point (the perfect combination!). We’ve completed two sizable projects with them in the past 12 months, in each case we presented Dave and his team with a set of constraints and personal requirements and on every occasion they worked with us to find the best solution within those constraints. Each project presented a few unexpected hiccups (which is almost always the case where construction is concerned) but in my experience its how you handle those situations that counts and in all cases DRD worked to ensure we were well informed and where necessary part of the decision process on how to proceed. As a busy professional I really appreciated the daily progress reports that clearly document what was done, what will happen in the coming day(s) and identify any ‘homework’ items along with the respective owners so there’s no confusion about who owns what and when it’s due which avoids impacts to the schedule. I highly recommend DRD and have no doubt I’ll be a return customer for future projects!

We used D.R. Domenichini for both our master bathroom remodel (2017) and kitchen remodel (2018) and we are absolutely thrilled with the team's work. Dave, Scott, and team are consummate professionals and will be our construction team of choice going forward. Dave and Scott worked with us to provide a really detailed/itemized bid so we came in on budget. Importantly, the project stayed on budget - no hidden costs. Scott served as our project manager on both projects. He inspected the project multiple times each week, ensuring everything was progressing according to plan and kept us apprised of the path schedule nightly with updates. Scott did a fantastic job at coordinating the different work teams so we could get back the use of our space as soon as possible. The team at D.R. Domenichini makes a very conscious effort to treat the construction site as their own home and really minimize the construction chaos as much as possible.

The impossible just happened, I had a major remodel done that went to plan, was on time, on budget and came out more beautiful than I could possibly have hoped for. Dave Domenichini, his staff and the sub contractors he uses are all top notch. I particularly appreciate the meticulous project management- daily site inspections, nightly progress reports, status updates, and general cat herding make sure all the usual 'bumps in the road' associated with construction don't end up flattening you and your project. I've done a lot of remodeling, and this has been the best experience by far.

I couldn't imagine my re-model going any better. Dave (owner) and Amber Linse (project manager) did an extraordinary job making all of this happen. I was contacted at least once a day by Amber (without me asking) addressing progress on the project as well as letting me know anything that she needed for me to do. Again, this was done every day throughout the duration of the project. The scope of work was completed on time (if not earlier) and under budget. My friend that suggested D.R. Domenichini Construction to me is a general contractor and owns two contracting businesses. I hold his opinions in very high regard. He had D.R. Domenichini re-model his kitchen. I talked to Dave about 2 years ago, but because of a death in the family, we shelved it. Dave was so understanding at that time that I felt he was the guy for the job. Then when we picked it up again, i interviewed a few more contractors, but again based on Dave, his reviews, and his process, we went with him. His cost was comparable to the other contractors. His team is professional, on-schedule, and on-cost. They worked with us closely through the project, were immediately responsive if anything was a problem, helped us make choices, recommended great partners for granite and tile, and they were ON SCHEDULE. I felt safe with all his workers and subcontractors. I also recommended Dave to a neighbor, and they are very happy they used his team as well. We really recommend him and are glad we used his team.

We had DR Domenichini remodel three bathrooms in our home. I was looking for an updated and upscale improvement to the bathrooms and home. The project is now complete. Dave and Amber rate A+++ for accountability, project management and customer satisfaction. They were on schedule and within reason on budget. In fact they pushed us on deliverables. We received daily updates on progress and status. They also were great at addressing any aspects of the project we were not completely satisfied with. As with all projects, there are things I would do differently. On our job, I would absolutely get a designer involved next time. I would also ensure that we have the A team from the contractor right from the start. Good advice on any project and with any contract firm. I would recommend DR Domenichini for your needs.

Scott has been a lifesaver. I had not fully understood the value of hiring a contractor versus a standalone electrician or plumber before we undertook our house renovation. Getting anyone to call you back for a quote is hard enough in the Bay Area. Then add in the complexity of scheduling a flooring guy and plumber in the correct order without waiting 5 weeks in between and the challenge of getting someone to take ownership when an issue arises (all construction involves challenges). Scott is intelligent, flexible, incredibly honest, and professional. I would highly recommend his team for any renovation. Dave Domenichini and his crew are professional, courteous and very trustworthy. Normally we are very guarded about having contractors here if we are not home due to the dogs. But Dave's crew was so careful not to let them out and even gave them treats! The work was beautiful, done on time and within budget, even though we had some unexpected issues in rerouting the ductwork. They did multiple projects for us - installing hardwood floors, remodeling the kitchen, installing speaker wires and installing ceiling lights in the family room over several occasions.

Redesigned the entire ground floor of my two story town home with new hardwood floors and remodeled bath. The craftsmen who worked on the job were very courteous and professional. Everyone was on time and the staff keep everything on track. It was all cleaned up after the job was completed (even saw dust in the driveway!) I've already booked them for the upstairs remodel and look forward to seeing and working with them all again. Five stars!

We’re delighted with D.R. Domenichini Construction. We’ve done several re-models in recent years and knew exactly what we were looking for in our next contractor. Our most important criteria in choosing a builder were the quality of their construction, the ability for them to set a schedule and maintain it, cost, and someone we felt we would work well with. We interviewed four contractors before choosing DRD. With DRD we got everything we were hoping for and more. DRD stuck to their bid even though they hit some unexpected challenges that undoubtedly ended up costing them money. DRD set a highly detailed timeline and maintained it. When they hit unplanned obstacles they brought in additional personnel to stay on track. The quality of their work was first rate. The unexpected bonuses of working with DRD were the uniformly high quality of their employees and subcontractors, how well they protected our home and maintained the jobsite, and the amount of attention devoted to making sure that every last detail was completed to our satisfaction. We even got a handwritten note thanking us for being clients! We’ll definitely use DRD again and feel very comfortable referring them to family and friends.

David was up-front about labor costs and changes & communicated well with us. Team leader Scott lent his expertise in problem solving & came up with an alternative pattern for our tub tile & trim that saved us time & money. Every-day manager Nelso was just fantastic-thoughtful, nice guy who worked very hard on the task at hand and at keeping the schedule, while doing exceptional work-no shortcuts. The remodel took about 5 weeks to complete. Everyone was professional, but very friendly and approachable. We asked lots of questions! This company would be our # 1 choice for any future contractor jobs-I could go on----but, thanks for a wonderful bathroom!

We really appreciated the care taken to make sure we understood how the process would work, the knowns and unknowns, etc. In my opinion, one of the keys to a successful project is to be working with a contractor who listens. I found these folks to be excellent listeners. Work was neat, employees were respectful and easy to be around. The only delays to the schedule were caused by me -- some of the things that I ordered personally had a longer delivery time than expected. Dave and team worked with me to be sure everything was done, and done right. Clearly they stand behind their work. I would not hesitate to work with them again. Domenichini Construction and we couldn't be happier with their work! To name a few: We had them replace ALL door, frames & casing, added crown moulding through out, added recessed lighting in our dining room, and due to bugeting we had a whole house fan installed that saved us ALOT of money in lieu of AC.
