We hired Dahlke Carpentry to remodel our kitchen and laundry room, install an elevator and some other upgrades. We were very pleased with the work they did. We felt Jim had great integrity. Jim kept us well informed through out the process He gave us clear timelines for the various phases of the project.. He provided great solutions to any issue that came up. Needless to say, putting an elevator in required ingenuity on his part to meet what we needed and make it work within the framework of our house. We would highly recommend him.

we were very pleased and will certainly use jim dahlke again. he was diligent, creative, HONEST, and self motivated . jim performed a major renovation on our home in our absence and when we returned the completed renovation was more than we expected. very happy with everything that was done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAHLKE CARPENTRY. the renovation consisted of taking a bedroom closet and making it a bathroom, extending the hallway to a fourth room making it a bedroom (only way to enter this room was thru the den), building closets in two bedrooms and adding window seats. removing the old doors in the den to the useless room. the renovation looks like it was original which we wanted to look and so very pleased with the outcome.

I couldn't be more impressed with the condo remodel which was completed for me. Although this was a small condo project, from beginning to end Jim took the time to show and explain every detail of the process . Customer satisfaction is most important with him. And I would say, satisfaction is an understatement when you see the outcome. Oh, did I mention I live 1000 miles away from where the project was being executed and I was made to feel like I was right next door. The project was completed timely and respectfully. Jim Dahlke is my top choice contractor for a variety of reasons. Jim is a personable kind of guy. It is clear that he knows what he is doing. He is honest and it is obvious. His work is impeccable. Not only is the finished product beautiful and creative but if you have the opportunity to visit the worksite you will see that it is kept neat and tidy. If you are having a remodel done on an existing living area...you will be surprised at how well he keeps the construction debris out of your way. If you need a creative idea about an addition...he comes up with great choices. The finishing touches are what one really appreciates. Regardless of the size of the job it is well-done. I often times need someone with Jim's knowledge to meet with customers to help them with answers and to help them vision how a property can be transformed into their dream home. Jim is able to do that. I recently had a customer wanting to buy a beautiful home on Sanibel with a little problem of the floor sloping in some areas. It was important to understand what was happening and whether this could be appropriately addressed. Jim was able to offer his opinion, his recommendation, and also his honest appraisal of the magnitude of the project. Even though the outcome was not favorable for this buyer to purchase this home it ended up being a positive experience due to Jim's ability to relay important information.
