Coryn Laws of Details Home Services helped me from the very beginning thru completion of the 2nd floor addition of my home. His sub-contractors were excellent, courteous and easy to work with. Loved the open space design, the materials used, and the collaboration from Cory. When there were challenges, he communicated to me right away. We had a contingency plan and budget, and those expectations came to fruition due to supply issues, rising cost of materials and weather. Overall, Cory continues to be a great resource even a year after the completion of the project. Loved my space and highly recommend Details Home Services.

Truthfully, we had just about given up on our home addition being completed. My wife and I had a pretty terrible experience with a previous contractor. Other potential contractors, also didn’t leave us with much confidence. But then, we met Cory. Since day one, Cory has been transparent, honest, flexible, and communicative. He sees well beyond the project at hand, and understands the importance and value his work is to a family. Bottom line, he’s human. Cory has guided us through the ups and downs of a somewhat significant home addition. We knew right away we had a good person leading this project, when Cory, despite some of the labor and material cost being more than what he originally budgeted, decided to honor his original budget quote. Throughout the project, Cory has explained the process, so we had a fairly good expectation of what was to come. I’ve also learned a thing or two about home construction from him. Cory also made it clear that it was important to him that he delivered the final living space that we had always envisioned. He has made sure to ask and listen to us about our wants and needs, and has put in the effort to try and make that possible. For example, the original insulation scope of work did not include insulating the floor between the main level and our new addition. Cory told us that we would enjoy the space much more, from a noise and temperature perspective, if we insulated that floor. He added this to the work, and covered it financially on his end. One of the biggest fears we had going into this project was that our budget would balloon well beyond the original plan. I’ve appreciated Cory ‘s attention to the budget, and making sure he’s bringing in other contractors who are not only doing solid work, but also operating within our budget. Cory seems to be well-connected and has long-standing relationships in the field. Inevitably, during our construction, we hit some snags. Thankfully, Cory has been direct and honest with us about any issues, options, remedies, and action plans to move forward and keep the project going. The vendors and workers that Cory has brought to our house, have all been respectful, hard-working, and have done great work. As we approach the conclusion of this project, we are not only pleased with our much needed new addition, but grateful that we met Cory. Contractors don’t always have the best reputation, but I can tell you Cory is one of the good ones.

I contracted with Details Home Services to install new Hardi Plank siding on my home. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of their work. The new exterior of my home looks great! The workers were reliable, always cleaned up at the end of each work day, and were very detailed orientated. They made sure that I was complete happy before the job was done. I would highly recommend using them.

Engaged by several other homeowners in my neighborhood the Details Home Services team delivered exceptional work for all of us. We resided our entire house and gutters. Details Home Services paid extreme attention to detail, timelines and even offered intelligence on how to navigate my home owners association. They even provided certificate of completetion for homeowner insurance benefits. My wife and are delighted and how well the work was done and how nice our renovatedf home looks.

For a few months, it was difficult finding professional companies to do exactly what we wanted for our kitchen cabinets. We have a small, but mighty and well-planned kitchen space in our 1985 townhome. I was determined to preserve our solid wood cabinet boxes and update them with espresso-stained solid wood doors. Details Home Services made that happen by bringing a master wood artisan onto the project, Senor Alfaro-Hernandez Victorino. Our kitchen is stunning! Not only is it beautiful, but Details Home Services made certain we got what we wanted from the color to match the wood beam in the living area to the textured glass inlays typically available on high-end cabinetry. Thanks, Details Home Services and Senor Victorino, for the cabinetry of my dreams! Your combined expertise makes the heart of our home warm, inviting, and absolutely gorgeous!

I had a variety of projects around the house I needed a skilled general contractor to address. These projects included new stairs, flooring, and recessed lighting as well as dealing with basement water damage, renovation of a half bath and installation of an egress. I received quotes from several companies that ranged dramatically in price and expertise. Most of the companies weren't confident they could do all the work I needed. For instance, a couple companies had no prior experience installing egresses while others doubted if they could replace the cabinetry in the half bath without removing the hardwood floors. Details Home Services was the only company that could readily perform the variety of work I needed and was reasonably priced. Details Home Services even identified some cost saving measures before the work commenced. I appreciated the company's versatility and extensive knowledge. The work was completed on time and looks great.

Though this is a long overdue review, we want to say how thrilled we are with our kitchen remodel. The Details crew, lead by Humberto Vasquez, was everything we hoped for. Because Humberto is an architect, he could offer creative solutions to any unexpected problem (for us, it was inconveniently placed duct work). The team of workers were fast, clean, professional, and lovely people. I can’t recommend this group highly enough. Thank you for bringing all the right people together, Cory! I wanted built-in cabinets topped by bookcases. I’m extremely pleased with the final results and the built-ins look like fine pieces of furniture. The work was completed in a timely manner and both Cory and Phil were very easy to work with and attentive to my wishes. Like the name of the company says, it’s all in the details!

New deck. I contacted Details home services for an estimate on completely renovating my old deck and I am glad I did. Cory Laws was able to accommodate my budget and Jose and Patrick along with Juan built me a beautiful deck. Doing most jobs in Maryland they were not to familiar with Loudon County code so before even starting they did their homework. Found out exactly what was needed to do it right rather than rushing in and guessing. Deck passed inspection with flying colors and even compliments from the inspector on a great job. This crew was professional, courteous, and did a great job. Juan even took care when he needed to dig up my Rose's and potted them for me till time to put them back in the ground. I contacted Details to renovate my existing bathrooms and add a full bath to the basement after purchasing a design and professionally prepared plan elsewhere. The project presented unique challenges due both to errors in the plans and some nonstandard building issues found behind the walls. For example, there was no consideration given to HVAC vents in the plan. In one bathroom the only vent was being covered by the new cabinet placement and in another, the vent was on a wall slated to become a tiled shower wall. Cory was able to address every issue on the fly with creativity and grace and resolved all problems to my satisfaction. I would hire him again.

Cory, owner of Desmtails Home Services, installed new flooring in my kitchen, I later had him redo my kitchen and now his company is installing my new bathroom. Each time I have worked with Cory, he has been tuned into my budget, my timeline, and the “details”, as well. He has listened carefully to what I wanted and followed through carefully. His workers are professional and caring as well. Cory has even taken time to help me research items I needed on each project that I needed to stay within budget. Cory and his team were amazing! They renovated two bathrooms and our basement including the laundry room. The results were exactly what we wanted. Details Home Services was timely, very easy to talk to and had a lot of great ideas. Cory always was conscious of the budget and talked through any changes we had on the original plans.
