Dinse Contracting exceeded our expectations in every way. We had two bathrooms completely redesigned, with new plumbing, heating and cooling systems, new lighting, electrical work, beautifully executed tiling (including heated floor), shower and tub installation, drywall installation, ceiling fan installation, glass and mirrors, carpentry and painting. We expanded the job to include major new window and slider installation, interior and exterior painting, new siding where needed. The team also sprang into action when an entirely unrelated plumbing emergency occurred. Brian Dinse's entire team, including Chris, Bryan, Mark, McKenzie, Nick, and Zach, were a pleasure to have in our home. A major renovation means the homeowner is in a close and long-term relationship with the staff. Every one of the team was considerate, thoughtful, great communicators, and went the extra mile to keep things as orderly and efficient as possible. These folks are consummate professionals who take pride in their work. We are thrilled with all the result. If anything wasn't perfect, Brian made it so.

Brian and his team came to work on my basement this spring. It was a complete remodel and they did a phenomenal job redoing electrical, inserting insulation, rebuilding my stairs, fixing my ceiling, putting up drywall, painting, etc. The list goes on. I was really impressed by the whole team - they had a great attitude and were kind and friendly. My wife and I were working at home and they were always timely, cleaned up after themselves, and acted in a very professional manner. I was thrilled with the timing, cost, and of course results! In a few years we are planning on updating our first and second levels and our plan is to hire Brian and his team again. Big shout out to Chris M - super friendly, highly experienced, and just a book of knowledge when it comes to anything handyman related.

Brian took phenomenal care of us throughout the planning, building, and finishing stages. He kept the project on budget and moving along with constant communication. It was clear the whole time how much personal pride Brian and his team take in their work and in customer satisfaction. Another wrinkle is that I work from home. The Dinse Contacting team were respectful and cognizant of that fact and took great pains not to disturb me. The work itself: Brian and the team redid my entire finished basement, adding a full bathroom and moving walls around. They dug a new egress well and put a larger window into the bedroom. The bathroom is a work of art. The entire level is now the nicest floor of my house (and the main floor isn’t too shabby). When the time comes to start doing work on the main floor, there’s only one company I’d trust to do the work, and that’s Dinse Contracting. They hung mirrors in my gym, laid amazing tile in the bathroom, built gorgeous workbenches in my workshop, and on and on. Final notes: redid the awful electrical they encountered when they opened up the walls; insulated the exterior and interior walls; laid flooring and underlayment; built a custom handrail that complements the design of the level; amazing trim work; bright and beautiful lighting; hung doors (even ones that had to be shortened) that swing effortlessly. Truly, I could not be happier. Great company, great leader (Brian Dinse), and incredible finished product. You’ll get the white glove treatment from the first meeting to the last item on the punch list. Thank me later. You won’t be disappointed.

I am writing to recommend Brian Dinse and his company Dinse Contracting for construction services with future prospective clients. I have had the pleasure of working directly with Brian and several members of his team. The scope of work for this project involved the removal of a structural wall, Installation of a kitchen, new flooring throughout the house along with trim/molding, painting and lighting. Plumbing and HVAC moves were needed too. I could go on about all the trades needed to complete the work. He was also able to recommend a structural engineer and flooring contractor. Dinse Contracting has illustrated their attention to detail and quality on several occasions. We trusted Brian and his team completely and often deferred decision making to him letting him protect us from ourselves. He suggested things like changing the light temperature in other areas of the house to match the same style/color, painting the doors to match the new trim, Swapping out our improperly installed tub filler for a new one. They pointed out dings on Cabinets or mismatched doors and made sure the supplier fixed the issue before we even noticed the issues. Chris was there promptly each day when he said he would be and left when planed. He also made sure that we were comfortable living in our house through the renovation. We had other bathrooms that were out of scope of the project that were experiencing issues and he was able to fix the problem in 15 min. He knew what parts were needed and had it fixed before lunch. It was clear he knew what he was doing and didn’t take any short cuts on any parts of the project. Bryan was there doing drywall patching and painting for almost a month. Fixing any imperfections in the ceiling/walls/doors. Recommending hardware/fixture changeouts and painting recommendations when it made sense. All the way down to making sure the wood was stained and sealed with the correct product/color to make sure. Scheduling within the construction industry is always difficult with supply chain and labor shortages but that was not an issue for Dinse contracting. They effectively meet project schedule requirements. He and his crew have been able to quickly adapt to schedule changes from other subcontractors in order to keep his schedule on time and aligned with the overall project schedule. Please consider Dinse Contracting for your construction service needs. I recommend them and look forward to working with them again.

Dinse Contracting was the only company we would consider for our bathroom remodel. They had worked on our home previously so we knew we could trust their quality and feel safe with their workers in our home. Brian Dinse is thorough and detail-oriented. I always knew options, costs, and that I had a person watching out for our needs. The project was a remodel of a 1960s kids/guest bathroom. Chris developed creative solutions to adapt the old house to the new plumbing, and helped walk me through some of the electrical and lighting ideas. Mark's painting and Bryan's attention to detail on the finishing work, vanity installation, countertops, medicine cabinet install, fixtures, etc. made me very comfortable with the process and loving the final bathroom. Not only was the entire crew skilled, but they respected our home - they protected our floors and cleaned up daily. Most importantly, I felt safe with my kids and I being at home with the workers (and during COVID - they masked to protect my family). Great work, quality product, friendly and respectful crew. Highly recommend and will use them again for future work.

I could not have been more pleased with my kitchen remodel experience. Brian & his team were professional, courteous, efficient, a pleasure to work with & all around a great group of guys. They did amazing work & always cleaned up well at the end of the day. Brian was responsive to my questions & always satisfactorily answered them. It was a great experience. Brian has assembled a highly capable team, in addition to being very knowledgeable about the crafts of the trade himself. He remained an advocate for us the entire time, and advised when he felt we could scale back on what we thought were necessary enhancements, as well as when we should invest a little more. We completely trusted him and his team with the entire process. Reliable, honest, efficient, timely, creative...and the list continues. He made the process easy for us, he found ways to achieve our goals even when they seemed a bit impossible (perfect example....running a 220 line for the additional gas oven we wanted to install in the kitchen), recommending less expensive ways to approach our grand ideas, being open to all the new ideas we had as they finished each project. Great team too, and all masters at what they do. Very high quality from everyone who was at our our house....Brian, Bryan, Mark, Chris, Nick, Sean...they are now like family to us, and we would welcome them back in a heartbeat. We give Dinse Contracting our highest recommendation.

My University of Michigan degree is Architecture. Dinse contracting completely remodeled two of our bathrooms. Fantastic attention to detail! BEST floor and shower tile work that I've ever seen. Always answered our questions to our satisfaction. Complete professional accounting of materials and labor costs as the project continued. Completed the project on scheduled date, which was very important to us. Every project has some flaws in materials and unexpected issues arise -- they fixed every one of them to our full satisfaction. Well worth the wait to get in their schedule.

As with a previous project, Dinse Construction was top-notch. For this painting of our house exterior, the painter made excellent suggestions about color (we used the shade of cream/yellow that he recommended, a different one than we'd originally chosen, and it's perfect). The schedule happened just as promised; he sent us photo updates about the painting (we were out of town for much of that time); his work was meticulous, the clean-up impeccable. We'd return to Dinse Construction for any next project in a heartbeat.

We hired Brian and his crew to take on our basement remodel that included some ambitious items such as: cutting and installing an egress window, turning an under-the-stairs closet into a beautiful full bathroom and a number of custom woodworking projects. As first time homeowners who were taking on their first major renovation project, Brian and his crew were everything we could have asked for: skilled, knowledgeable, communicative, respectful of us and our home, organized, and meticulous. While Brian was not the cheapest quote we received, the work far exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny. As expected when taking on a project of this magnitude, there were a host of surprises that arose that were all handled with professionalism and transparency by Brian and Chris. All of Brian’s crew were respectful and a pleasure to work with. Additionally, all subcontractors provided exceptional work in a timely manner. Brain was a true owner, ensuring that everyone who touched the project performed high quality work that was up to his standards. In addition to the work in the basement, we spoke with Brian about replacing some dilapidated siding on the exterior of our house. He and his crew were able to fit this project in without missing a beat on our basement work. They quickly removed the old siding, replaced it, and provided us with a fantastic paint job to bring that side of our house back to life. Our once dreary, outdated basement is now a beautiful family room that we use as a retreat on a nightly basis and is quickly becoming a favorite gathering spot for family and friends. Brian understood our vision and brought our ideas to life through his skillful work. We hired Brian and his team to remodel our outdated Master Bath and couldn't be more pleased. It is important to know that we were specifically looking for a contractor that we could trust as we are not local and needed the confidence that the work would be done perfectly without our day to day supervision. Before starting, Brian spent a ton of time with us discussing our goals and what some options might be to get the results we were looking for. Once the work was started, we were amazed at the attention to detail that was put into every step of the job by everyone on the team that was put into our work. At one point, we even went back and made different tile choices based upon Brian's observation of some defects in the tile we chose that we never even noticed. The work was smooth from beginning to end and Brian was in constant contact all along the way letting us know how things were progressing and bringing new ideas to our attention. We are very appreciative of all the work Brian and his team put into our project and are planning on using him again to do work in our Kitchen as well.

I usually don't write reviews on this type of forum, but in this case I want to emphasize how wonderful our experience was with Dinse Contracting LLC and specifically Brian Dinse as well as his entire team. From the beginning of the project up until the very end, the level of quality in the work and service that we received was impeccable. Brian Dinse believes in open communication and is honest and fair. He has an extremely high level of integrity. Not to mention, he provides great design advice. We ran into some surprises and unexpected glitches along the way... with no fault to Brian and his team... (i.e. Covid causing delays in the project and some unexpected structural issues found.) Brian, along with Chris, Zach, Sean and Bryan H., easily identified what the issue was, confidently assessed how to fix it, all while never skipping a beat with the main project, the kitchen remodel. What could have been a major setback turned into a seamless afterthought. I would highly recommend.
