We had a kitchen and two bathrooms renovated by DIR, and we were extremely pleased with both the process and outcome. Seri and Roula were a delight to deal with--always professional, accessible, and responsive. They helped us through the process of making key design and decorating decisions. The work was done to a very high standard. And it all looks great! We would certainly recommend them most highly.

I don’t often give five stars reviews, but I couldn’t possibly offer anything less to Seri and Roula. From day one, DIR Construction and Renovation were a pleasure to work with. My husband and I had never taken on a massive renovation before and were a little nervous about the scope of our project. Seri and Roula took us under their wing and immediately put us at ease. They were always on time, always respectful, transparent, and patient. They were consistent and responsive, taking the time with each question and concern. Every member of the DIR team also offered the same high level of skill, craftsmanship, and professionalism. The quality of everyone's work was impeccable. Seri and Roula saw our vision for our kitchen and delivered what we had been dreaming of for so long. We couldn’t be more pleased with the process and outcome. I cannot thank them enough!

We added a dream sunroom to our home. DIR were there from the beginning with advice and help at every step. Their crew was professional and always arrived on time. Seri and Roula were a joy to work with throughout our major home extension project completed this past spring. They proved to be trustworthy, reliable and great communicators every step of the way. We even made some requests to help make some structural improvements over and above the original project plans which they helped us resolve. The end result is a home that has been dramatically improved both structurally and aesthetically at a reasonable cost. They were also very accommodating even through various supply chain and third party contractor delays beyond the control of all parties during a time of provincially imposed COVID-related restrictions. Worked with Roula & Seri on a 3 bedroom townhouse (total loss due to a fire). They were amazing to work with, had excellent ideas and presented multiple options when making suggestions. They worked within our budget in a timely manner. We were extremely pleased with the end result and would definitely use them again in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with Seri and Roula for a garage reconstruction and it was a positive experience from day 1. All of the steps were done with professionalism and all of the contractors were amazing. We hired DIR Construction and Renovations to complete a kitchen renovation project in February 2020. We could not have been happier with Roula and Seri. They were completely transparent with costs and time frames. They were genuinely excited by the project and strived to provide us with the best space possible within our budget. Roula gave much time and consideration to choosing materials with us, and let us take the time needed to make decisions. Seri is extremely conscientious and does indeed make sure the job is done right. We now have a beautiful kitchen that we love spending time in. My wife and I have hired DIR for several projects in the last 3 years. It started when we decided to give them a try with a renovation to a basement bathroom. We were so pleased with the result and found the experience in dealing with them to be so pleasant, we hired them 3 more times for increasingly bigger projects. Full main bathroom renovation, complete basement renovation, new sump pump, new sound proof home theater room, roof replacement. Like many homes in Montreal, we were flooded in 2017. We had already used DIR 2 times before the flooding so when we called, they were at our doorstep the very next day. Their concern for our well being was real and genuine. It didn't take them long to identify the entry point for the groundwater coming into our basement and they were able to fix the problem and then did a beautiful job rebuilding our basement. When the flooding hit again in the spring of 2019, not a drop of water entered our basement. My wife and I were and are incredibly thankful for their expertise in construction and design. They won't just do what you ask, they will work to understand what you need to accomplish and then work with you to suggest the best ways to get it done right. The initial design stage is helpful and complete. They were always incredibly patient with our decision making process as we can be quite fussy, but they never blinked and supported all of our change requests and questions. It is rare to find such a combination of quality work, and personal, pleasant customer care before and after construction. I highly recommend them. We highly recommend DiR Renovations for any project, large or small. Seri and Roula Gandhi are very professional, passionately detailed oriented individuals. Our project was very ambitious, taking a small bungalow and creating the house of our dreams. We added an addition to our home which included a designer kitchen, master bedroom and en-suite, with the entire house (including the basement) completely redone. When I start my day I feel in awe of what my husband and I accomplished, it was a courageous dream realized and we are so happy we chose DiR to partner with us. The project took 5 months to complete, and we never lost a single night of sleep. Roula and Seri made us feel secure every step of the way which really says a lot about who they are both professionally and personally. I was more than pleased with the excellent work that DIR did to overhaul my bathroom last Spring. I obtained quotes from three contractors, and this one was in the middle, but what impressed me the most at the outset was DIR's obvious desire to produce something with which I would be happy. Although living through a renovation project is never pleasant, DIR showed up every day, explained everything to me clearly, and most importantly were incredibly easy to work with. Everyone was polite and friendly, and the project was finished on budget. The finished product was amazing (it really was exceptional work!), and the customer service was by far the best I have ever experienced. DIR will not disappoint; they have my highest recommendation.

It was with great trepidation that we approached our idea of demolition and construction of a new main floor dining room and workroom in the new basement as we have never before taken on a project of this size, but after meeting both Roula and Seri who came to our house when we began the process of collecting estimates our concern was greatly diminished. Not only were they able to answer all of our questions, but they also have such a calm approach to their work with a strong current of passion. Once we made the decision to sign with DIR, we began to meet the different groups of their team and associated workers. They were all so very polite, conscientious, skilled and concerned with our wants. During construction, any concern or question we had was quickly answered or dealt with by the team. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and we are so pleased to have chosen DIR.
