My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We got our new roof today & we are very pleased! He kept us we'll informed, sent pictures of the job & was a dependable communicator. They showed up when they said they would & even knocked on the door to let us know they were about to start. We would definitely recommend & will keep him in mind if we other needs arise.

We had a great experience with Darren and his team. Our project was a sizable addition to our already existing home and from the beginning, Darren listened so well and really tried to understand our wants and needs. He came back with a plan and we worked together to get it locked in and ready for the building project. Once construction started, we were communicated with very regularly over the phone, text and the builder's app portal. Photos and videos were sent every day there was work being done. He was available for questions and regularly helped me understand the process as we had never built a home or an addition before. He also stayed on budget and we finished in the timeframe we planned for. That was awesome! Darren's a great guy, has become a great friend and I highly recommend him and his team for your next project!

Professional, meticulous, intentional, quality-minded, creative and most of all trustworthy! These are the words that come to mind when I think about the experience I had with DixonBuildz during several recent home renovation projects. This included a fireplace with highly custom features as well as a home office that took into account unique needs for working from home regularly. Darren took our ideas and expanded upon them in ways we couldn’t imagine ourselves, and the end result is spectacular! We plan to work more with Darren and his team for all our renovation needs and highly recommend others consider the same!

Working with Dixon Buildz was so smooth. From the initial call and estimate to the final installation and follow-up, I can't say enough wonderful things. We had a small railing installation project that needed to be completed on our rear patio concrete steps. Where other contractors told us the grade of the landing was such that a level railing was not possible, or others who didn't respond to voicemails, Dixon Buildz not only was responsive, but executed the design, welding, and installation of the project flawlessly. I'm very, very pleased with working with Darren and when I have projects come up in the future, he will be the first I call.

Darren and his team were also very thoughtful about our security, working around our living schedule. and making certain to clean up our living spaces to make the work as easy for us as he could. Our master bathroom has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has seen it, and the new basement bathroom has really opened up new space in our home for work and entertainment. My son was worried that he'd never see me upstairs again! Darren also did a great job of maximizing the budget we had to work with, which was not easy. Along the way, he identified and corrected potential issues with our plumbing lines for the laundry room and the refrigerator filter. He fixed those, as well as an issue with an outside faucet, in ways that will create future savings for us. Most importantly for us, Darren was honest and works with integrity. We knew we could trust him to take care of our home like it was his own.
