Dogwood added a bathroom to my basement. I am very pleased with all the work that was done, and it was a great experience working with Michael to come up with a customized solution for my situation. Can not say enough good things about this company. Have never seen employees so dedicated and meticulous to their trade, extremely polite and courteous. Price very reasonable considering the high price of materials and labor. If possible would give a (6) star rating. We added an open carport to house when inspectors came to give approval "He commented this company did an excellent job" My Husband and I are so very pleased with the way it looks and added much value to our home. Highly recommend. Michael was so easy to work with and walked us through every step of the project from beginning to end. I had a big window to replace. Dogwood Family Homes replaced it and all of the windows in the house. I love all the windows and the craftmanship of the install was great.

Michael worked with our budget and priorities to complete the work we needed to do on our home. The thing I appreciated most about him was he was always communicative and available for our questions/concerns. He made things right when things did not meet our expectations. Being a contractor in todays environment with COVID, supply issues and the sheer demand for work is one of the most challenging jobs there are. We were understanding of these issues and didn’t set our expectations sky high as far as a timeline. Still he was able to get our checklist done before our baby arrived. Overall, Michael is my go to guy when I need a big project done. I know I can trust him to do the right thing.

Michael and his team did a great job renovating our home. It was a big project - the whole home was taken down to the studs. He helped us make the most out of a smaller square footage and his attention to detail is second to none. Each design aspect was held to the best quality. My wife and I contracted Dogwood Family Homes to replace our old, broken aluminum carport with a new structure extending out from our roof, and simultaneously replacing our roof. We chose DFH after hearing other positive reviews from others in the neighborhood who had had similar projects done. Michael met with us on multiple occasions to discuss the ideas we were envisioning and transform them into a good design plan. He was knowledgeable about the city permit process, dealing with insurance and finding ways to save money on the project. He was transparent about project costs and his roofing subcontractor did a good job as well. He stopped by frequently to make sure things were going well and according to plan. Since 2020 there have been industry-wide issues with procuring materials and meeting project demands, and while these factors did delay our project a bit we were pleased by the communication throughout. Financially we felt we paid a fair price for the work involved as well. At the end of it all, we are extremely happy with the work he did and would recommend his company to anyone.

Michael and his team helped us build a few retaining walls and install a stone patio with turf. They were a pleasure to work with, answering all our questions before work started--and arriving as promised and on time--finishing the job in the time frame they said it would take. What a pleasure to have a builder do what they said they were planning on doing when they said they would do it! Would happily work with Dogwood again

I recently utilized Dogwood Family Homes to renovate/update my walk-in shower. Michael and his team did a great job with the renovation job and new tile installation.
