The recommendations Elias made for layout and materials helped us get exactly what we were looking for in our space, and the attention to detail was great. We hired Elias to finish our basement in summer 2020. It was an extensive project and one where we wanted not only an experienced company, but also someone who could provide input to help us with some of the design ideas. I have nothing but the strongest of compliments for Elias and his dedicated work. He was personally involved in almost all aspects and was able to guide us thru every design element. The work area was spotless at the end of every workday and all work was performed on time. The finished product exceeded our expectations. The ~2,000 sq. ft. space has a dedicated exercise room, home theatre designed in an open space with half wall seating per our request, wine room, full bath with large shower, and a large custom bar with wet sink/built in ice maker/kegerator/separate fridge, and brick accent wall with floating wood shelves. He was also able to incorporate some rustic wooden beams into the design near the bar which matched perfectly with our rustic finish to the area. It was these types of finishing details, evident in all his work, that solidified for us that we made the right choice for our finished basement. Elias and Daniel just completed an extensive basement finishing project for us. They took a cold, concrete shell and turned it into a warm and inviting new living space for our family. We added an egress window, media room, custom bar, guest bedroom, full bath and kids playroom with built in reading nook. In addition, Elias remodeled a powder room and mudroom on our first floor. The quality of work is really top notch, but beyond that, he makes the whole experience very pleasant. His contracts and pricing are very clear and easy to follow, with no surprises. Like most larger projects, we made a few changes along the way, and Elias was always very understanding and accommodating. Every change order is diligently documented and reviewed and it’s clear he really strives for his customers to be happy at the end of the job. When he did use one of his subcontractors for drywall, plumbing, or electric, he was still always on site and made sure they did quality work. Best of all, him and Daniel were great with our two young kids and very careful with mask wearing, social distancing and closing off their workspace, which were all important factors for us when deciding to do an extensive remodel in the middle of a pandemic. I highly recommend Elias Construction and in fact have already inquired with him about another remodel project for next year!

Elias Construction did a fantastic job finishing our basement. From initial contact all the way through completion of the project, Elias was a pleasure to work with. He was here every day to ensure the work was done as we had discussed. . Our finished basement looks amazing. It has a full bath, a TV room, a bar that seats 8 people and recessed lighting throughout. The bathroom has a tile floor and wet bed shower. The TV room has a 75” TV with surround sound speakers along with additional in-ceiling speakers throughout all areas of the basement. In the bar, he installed high end cabinetry with in-cabinet and under cabinet lighting, a large stone back splash and a TV mounted in the center. He also installed a granite bar top and under-counter appliances including a kegerator, beverage fridge, dishwasher and microwave. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and professionalism. We highly recommend him!

We contacted several local contractors to secure quotes to finish our 1,500 square foot basement. We wanted to add an in-home spa with a four person sauna; stone fire place; wine storage area; game room; and custom wood book cases and window seat. We chose Elias and we could not be more satisfied. He and his crew chief Alex were neat, professional, and highly talented. Elias Construction finished our basement...from concrete darkness to what looks like a regular floor in our house. The basement contains a project area, conversation hangout area, entertainment space and pool table, all of which are well lit by recessed lights. Additional vents were put in the basement from our existing HVAC unit, so a separate system wasn't required. Doors were hung to create closets hiding utility equipment such as the HVAC system, water connections, etc. An easement window and air exchange system were also added to comply with our township's code. The process went very well. Elias and Alex are very friendly, relatable and respectful. Communication about the project and answers to questions were always very timely. The workmanship and quality of the finished project met all of our expectations. We are very pleased with the final outcome and would definitely recommend Elias Construction to others.

Elias Zouras and his project manager Alex were beyond wonderful to work with and they exceeded our expectations. When we decided it was finally time to do a master suite in our basement we diligently met with five different contractors. Elias easily won the job. He is an expert at construction and he is also extremely approachable and honest which is so important when someone is working in your home. He gave us a detailed blueprint and plan that was easy to follow and very thorough. They were so clean and neat which I did not think was possible on a construction site! Every time we wanted to change or add something to the project Elias would listen and he had no issue with changing the plan along the way. That was something that was very appreciated because knowing exactly what you want before a project begins is not easy! We decided to add a built-in entertainment center which Elias built himself it is stunning. The molding and wainscoting that we added were done to perfection. I have showed off my basement to friends, family and neighbors, they are all amazed at how beautiful the basement is. Elias also gave us advice and fixed some issues we were having in other areas of our home such as our dryer ventilation and some water leak issues. I don’t think there is a construction issue he can’t handle. Hands down we will use Elias Construction in the future.

We were extremely pleased with the outcome of our finished basement. Elias and his team were professional, detail oriented, and respectful while in our home throughout the entire project. Elias openly communicated with us, and kept us well informed throughout the project. They even cleaned up at the end of every day.The basement was finished on time and exceeded our expectations. Elias Construction completed an extensive basement finishing project for us. The project consisted of a large TV area, kitchen area with wet bar, bedroom, bathroom and playroom. I'm writing this review because we depended so much on REAL reviews when choosing a contractor. We interviewed four or five different companies but ultimately chose Elias because of the wonderful referrals pictures of completed work,and his down-to-earth personality. He wasn't the cheapest contractor but we have never regretted working with him at all. One thing that stood out is that Elias is on the job every step of the way from the planning to the construction and design to the finish work he oversees every part of the project. He does subcontract out portions of the work like electrical and plumbing however the subcontractors he works with have obviously worked with him a while and you can tell they are very familiar with him. One thing we were concerned about is choosing a company to do the basement and then this company with subcontract out to the cheapest subcontractor. You could easily tell Elias had a great rapport with the different subcontractors and everything flow together seamlessly. Another thing to consider is the employees who will be in your home every day working on a project. We never had a problem with Elias or his employees. They were friendly, respectful, neat, and a true pleasure to have in our home. They were also very respectful of our infant daughter and would give us a heads up when loud work would be completed as not to disrupt naptime or other family events. Elias was also great and helping us save money along the way by finding creative ways to cut back without compromising the end product. He had some great suggestions for finishes and products. He was extremely responsive to any of our questions and would often get back within the hour. He kept us updated constantly and would remind us if any of our design decisions were due so that we could plan accordingly. Was never a time he went missing off the job or was unresponsive. His payment structure was fair and well-managed. The quality of the work is top notch and you can tell he didn't cut corners he would often go back to triple check his work and make adjustments if anything wasn't up to par. Project was completed on time and we are thrilled with the end result. We would absolutely use Elias and his company for future projects and would give them the highest recommendation.

Elias Construction is a skilled home contracting company with a high standard of workmanship. Elias Construction diligently discusses, with their customer, all aspects of the work for which they were hired resulting in the customer being informed of every aspect of the job. We hired Elias Construction based on a glowing recommendation from a friend who had hired them to finished their basement. We spoke to several contractors and Elias Construction came back with the best plan at a reasonable price. They offered great suggestions to make our basement not look like a basic finished basement such as using drywall for the ceilings, using doors rather than access panels for the main water access, wood spindles for the staircase, and building a custom window seat over the sump pump. He also built a custom bookcase with cabinets and a pantry with shelving. They showed up every day on time and were friendly, respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day.
