Bad company. Left unfinished job to my bathroom. City inspected and reported that the contractor installed totally wrong for floor tiles and shower place . Please be aware this company and the owner Moises De La Torre

I am writing to recommend Moises de la Torre and his company First Choice Remodel for any remodel projects with future prospective clients. I had the pleasure of working with Moises and his team on a complete kitchen remodel. Choosing a contractor can be a difficult task. More often than not, you have to weigh price vs quality. With First Choice Remodel we were able to get both. Moises demonstrated great vision for our project, we were already on the same page before we explicitly told him what we wanted – down to the finest details. Moises’s estimate came far below other contractors, but we felt comfortable moving forward with him due to his personality and thorough explanations. Moises was always respectful of our home and personal space, making sure everything was clean and usable. Throughout the process he demonstrated attention to detail, quality, safety and timeliness. Further, he stayed on budget even if it meant taking minor hits to his profitability. As with any renovation project, there are always unforeseen difficulties and expenses but Moises was completely transparent when those came up and often only charged us for materials, forgoing labor costs. Please consider Moises and First Choice Remodel for your remodel needs. I recommend him and his team and look forward to working together again in the future.

Does really good work, and its great when you are on a budget. If you don’t want to spend your money like some people then find someone else. Go with a bigger company, some people just try to save an extra buck.

Honestly he worked hard the first 2 weeks but once he was paid he magically lost interest. He stopped coming on time, lost material receipts and left the job unfinished. Just save your money and use a pro. This guy is not worth your time.

He left us with unfinished kitchen and bath. Also, stiffed us of 10k at least. He showed up at 11am everyday, and left by 3pm. Had NO crew, and never gave receipts or invoices.... only credit to give is he removed our home photos from his website...

In 2018 after mold remediation, I hired Mr. DeLaTorre to rebuild a 5x7 closet replacing the flooring, insulation, drywall and ceiling, and to put in new windows in the front dining room which involved the removal of the original windows, drywall, outside brick and the reframing for the new configuration, insulation, drywall, electrical, molding and new brick veneer. Other work in my home included repair of drywall/cracks and painting. Mr. DeLaTorre submitted a detailed Scope of Work with costs that were very reasonable. He was very professional, communicated clearly on every aspect of the project, and made sure that the work area was cleaned up at the end of the day. It was a pleasure working with Mr. DeLaTorre and his crew as they were always on time, came prepared and did an excellent job. I was very happy with the finished work and would highly recommend Mr. DeLaTorre for a building project. Ellin P.
