HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Cody and his team did excellent work with a full remodel, including a brand new kitchen, two new bathrooms, and reconfiguring the entire layout for a completely open concept. Cody, the owner, was able to take our vision and bring it to inception exactly as we pictured. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to troubleshoot any issues that arise. Cody was always willing to help, took on every last-minute request with a smile, and minimized any stress throughout the duration of the project. From the very first phone call and initial appointment, to completing the finishing touches, Cody and his team did an incredible job. They were very professional, resourceful, and dedicated, and we were able to stay within budget as promised. We've worked with many contractors and this project with Fresh Start Renovations was by far our best. We have a lot more future projects in mind and we have no doubt we'll be continuing to work with Cody and his team.

I've worked with Cody on numerous projects in the past few years And have always had great results. I first used Codi and Fresh Start Renovations a few years ago when I purchased my home. We decided to purchase with a 203K loan and after numerous bids, with one contract contractor actually walking away furious when he heard about the scope of the project and paperwork involved, Cody was instrumental in getting our loan closed due to his patience with all the paperwork, getting the renovations done, and allowing our family to have a home of our own. Cody has also worked on many projects for me at my rental properties and is always available when I call. In fact at one of my rental properties last winter I had a pipe burst which flooded the first floor kitchen and required the HVAC to be replaced. I initially called a local HVAC guy (referred by a family memeber, big mistake!) as it was very far for Cody to go. That HVAC guy ended up lying about the install of a brand new HVAC unit and tried to rip me off before walking away from the job completely. Luckily Cody was able to come all the way out, on short notice, and get everything right for me. In short Cody and his company Fresh Start Renovations have always been professional, reliable, prompt, and courteous in all of our dealings.

We had Cody and the Fresh Start Reno crew redo our master bathroom, they did a fantastic job! First of all we could not be happier with the way our bathroom came out but also of importance is how the work was done. They stayed to the budget that Cody originally quoted us on and worked with us to understand our options throughout the demo and build. They crew was so respectful of us in our house, they worked with us on the best start time to begin the job and to start work each day, they cleaned and left our house in great shape each day but what really set them apart was how they were mindful of our young son his is 8 months old. The little things such as the Fresh Start Reno team being quiet up and down the stairs while he was napping, there was no yelling back and forth when they needed to communicate they would take the effort to walk up to the bathroom to discuss what they needed. It wasn’t just that our bathroom came out perfect and looks awesome it is also how the work was done. I could not recommend this group enough and look forward to hiring them for our next project!

We recently bought a new home, and Fresh Start was one of a few contractors we interviewed, and we could not be happier with our decision to hire them. They remodeled 2 of our bathrooms, plus sanded and stained the existing floors. The bathrooms look phenomenal and their attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Besides their top notch craftsmanship, Cody and team are an absolute pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a quality contractor, do not hesitate to call them.

If you are looking for the opposite of craftsmanship, then look no further then Fresh Start Renovations. These guys are possibly the most unqualified and unprofessional contractors I have ever encountered. If you are even considering this company, do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. I had these guys redo my Kitchen, bathroom and dining room flooring and everything came out sub-par. This company clearly saw to many DYI shows and thought they could play contractor. As the homeowner with actual experience in the remodeling business, working for a contractor for years, I can tell you that these guys are your run of the mill, fly by night HACKS!!!! Not even their subs are good! So many mistakes were made during the course of the renovation, mistakes that good contractors don’t make. As the homeowner, I literally had to massage most of the projects so they came out somewhat decent. It almost came down to getting a lawyer and take them to small claims but me and my wife honestly didn’t have the strength to deal with it any longer do to our first child just being born and ultimately gave up on ever having the projects look right. My wife and I are already considering redoing the bathroom over again because it look so bad. Once again a terrible contractor gets away with a bad job. I just hope this review saves a few people from the nightmare we had to deal with. I have folders worth of pictures of the finished product and the mistakes that occurred during the entire process that I would be happy to share with anyone who would be interested in seeing what shotty work this company considers acceptable. All the pics that I have included in this review are in their finished state after the job was completed. If you are doing any home improvement project, Cody and his team will tackle it. We tiled our basement floor, the team was courteous and professional and communicative. I am so happy with the final results.

These guys are the "real deal"--one-stop shopping for remodels. They take care of everything and have talented sub-contractors for the tasks they don't cover. Honest, fair-priced, great result and caring.

After getting quotes from several contractors, we found Codys pricing very competitive and fair. Cody remodeled our main bath and were very satisfied with the outcome, Cody pretty much stayed within the timeframe he had outlined for the project. We were very confident in Codys work throughout the process. We will definitely consider using Cody for future projects in our house and already recommended to a family member.

I had a complicated drainage issue where rain water was entering my home from multiple sources. I called multiple contractors/landscapers all of which had different solutions that I didn’t really believe would fix the issue. After my meeting with Cody at Fresh Start, it was clear to me he was my guy. His solution was creative, affordable and I believed it would work. He and his crew arrived on time, was courteous and professional to me and my family and kept me in the loop with this 4 day project. He also was able to overcome some unseen challenges that arose during the project with confidence and ease. After they were done, the work area was left in a better condition than when they started. Here it is a couple months later and just like Cody promised, no more water entering my home. I finally found “my guy”.

Cody helped us in converting the powder room to a full bath. He was on schedule and pricing was as discussed. Very prompt with responses and effective communication skills which one looks forward to while working with a contractor. In 2 weeks he got the work done. He also installed screen doors very quickly. Overall, we had a pleasant experience working with Cody. We highly recommend Cody to anyone for house improvement work for his sincerity and his professionalism shown !!

Fresh Start renovated our kitchen when we were looking to move. Cody and his team did a fantastic job!!
