Gordon was excellent to work with. Started with brainstorming and design. The attention to design and concept detail in the construction phase made the project turn out beyond expectation. Quality work, honors commitments. We would work with Gordon again for another project.

Gordon Leonard just completed a kitchen/dining room redo project for us and we could not be more pleased with the final product. The project included removal of pop-corn ceiling, painting of walls, ceiling, and cabinets; new counter tops and back-splash; new flooring; installation of LED lighting; new ceiling fans; a sliding glass door to separate kitchen from sun room; pocket door to utility room; new cabinet and pantry; relocation of air return for HVAC; and new kitchen sink and plumbing. Gordon had several great ideas for improvement that we had not considered, which greatly improved the project over what we had initially planned. Before beginning work, we had a project scope, timeline, cost estimate, and knew the dates by which we needed to make material decisions in order for the project to remain on schedule. The project went smoothly, and was completed ahead of schedule. The project cost was only slightly over the original estimate only because of changes we made after the project began. A key factor in the successful completion of our project was open two-way communication. Working with Gordon was very easy and very enjoyable! We were impressed with all of Gordon’s sub-contractors. Not only was their workmanship excellent, but they were very polite, safe, and exercised great care in what they were doing. We had absolutely no problems or concerns with them working in the house while we were gone. The clean-up crew did a fantastic job! We have absolutely no hesitation recommending Gordon Leonard. In fact, we are already planning to use G&S Remodeling on another redo project.

We had a great renovation experience: constant communication from the contractor, qualified workers, excellent clean-up of the work area each day, personal oversight by the contractor, final project delivered within the quoted price, and a great final product. I would highly recommend Gordon Leonard and his company. We have done renovations before and this was the best.

G & S Remodeling has done 3 house projects for me, and the latest was a professional building. The building project was done with city development money. I had to get three quotes and G&S's quote was the lowest. They are efficient, show up on time and do excellent work. If a quality problem comes up, he's the one who brings it to my attention and makes it right. There are never cost overruns unless I request something else or there are unexpected structural problems. The building project required permits, blocking city sidewalks, lead paint safety precautions; things that I never would have thought of and they took care of it all. I just never call anyone else.

We used G & S again to help repair 20 years of wear and tear on the exterior of our house. G & S worked to repair the gutters, brick, flashing and also installed a new fence. All work turned out great.

We have successfully completed three home projects with G & S Remodeling since 2017; a complete master bath remodel, a guest bathroom remodel, and, most recently, an extensive kitchen, dining room and family room redesign & rebuild. The last phase included removal of existing walls, leveling of ceiling heights, a more ergonomic layout of kitchen features, and replacement of existing ceramic tile with vinyl laminate throughout the house. Gordon Leonard's input into these projects gave us valuable insight in the redesign of our home that resulted in 100% satisfaction of all three projects. Our only regret was that we had not met Gordon earlier and completed these projects years ago.

From the initial meeting to the final closeout of our project, we were met with professionalism and integrity with a keen focus on keeping us informed every step of the way. Gordon introduced creative and innovative ideas to maximize the usability of our remodel while maintaining tasteful beauty. We are immensely happy with G&S! Gordon, your my guy from here on out for all my remodeling needs.

The sub floor in our guest bath had caved in, due to water damage, necessitating a major remodel. Gordon Leonard was the right man for the project. He understood what needed to be done to solve the leakage issue outside and to repair the interior damage. Along the way, Gordon also replaced a large window. His estimate was reasonable, and the results were outstanding. We were highly impressed with his numerous subcontractors. They all were punctual, clean and took real pride in their work-- very skilled and pleasant workers. I can't say the same for other general contractors and their subs. Gordon also has a great eye, and offered excellent advice on materials and design issues. We love the results.

After working with Gordon Leonard (G&S Services) addressing extensive repairs to our church due to burst pipes and 2-stories of damage, we knew that if we were going to make changes in our home, Gordon would be the first person to call. His knowledge, suggestions and subs are qualities needed to do the job right. G&S Services gave us exactly what we wanted when we redid our aging kitchen from cabinets to surface finishes and backsplashes allowing our Mexican design to be fun as well as functional. Growing older brings about need for safety. We again used G&S Services to redo one of our bathrooms by replacing a tub with a step-in shower big enough to allow a portable seat to be used if needed. Safety bars were added. The entire bathroom met with change and looks lovely. The safety bars were done without making the design look like a medical facility. Safety bars matching metal finish in master bath were also added. To further facilitate the need for wellbeing, G&S was able to fabricate custom rails that allow for safe front entry/exit and a step-down/up in one of our interior rooms. These changes again just exist but don’t detract from our home. Most recently, our master bath and walk-in closet took on a new look making the openings wider to accommodate a walker adding custom barn doors to meet for ease of use and to enhance the look. Another project done by G&S was to remove an existing sliding door and replace it with a single door and 2 sidelights opening to our backyard. It looks really attractive, and changes the whole look on the back of the house. This spring we had G&S address crumbling mortar on the outside brick of our home. Our home is all electric so at that same time, we were able to have them plug our chimney and install an electric firebox with a heater. No muss, no fuss…just an attractive finish to our living room. At Gordon’s suggestion, the work done allows any future owner to return the electric fireplace to woodburning (simply remove the electric firebox and unplug the chimney). We worked with Gordon on a remodel for my parents home. The project came out beautifully! That is not the most impressive part, however. This project was difficult for G&S because of how many family members were involved! Gordon kept his cool with all of us and kept me informed even with a very busy travel schedule on my part. He was truly challenged by his client (us) having multiple cooks in the kitchen (one of us for design, one of us for financial decisions, my mother and father whose house it was but were challenged by a long term illness). He handled it all and was extremely patient, often having to go over things multiple times with different people. In addition to that, we had several structural challenges arise during the process that had to be corrected. My father is an engineer and very particular in how things are done and he agreed with Gordon in every step - I can't tell you how rare this is. We were very pleased with G&S' work and management of the subs. Our project was large - the bids were detailed and accurate. Also, rare. I can truly say I recommend G&S for your future project.

Seemed like a Great Guy when we were interacting till such time the work was done and money was paid. Did not stand by the work he did and refused to come back and take a look at issues AFTER the money was paid. Was very professional initially but I guess he subcontract people for work and thus cannot cannot control the craftsmanship after he pay those people up. Keep remembering about him and the bad aftertaste every time I look at my floors. Would Not Recommend Him at all.

Gordon does great work...he does the job the way you would do it yourself. He cares and he does what he says he will do! We absolutely love our new media room!
