Great team to work with. They listen to what worked and what I didn't like about my living room. We designed a plan, and I couldn't be happier. There were ideas we had once the project got started (adding a roof over a front porch, designing a patio where the deck used to be. And the changes were easily accommodated. Everyone was very professional and friendly. If I had more work to do on my house, I would work with them!

Alex and his team did a wonderful job fully renovating our 1960s ranch. In addition to the renovation, they did an addition that included a main bedroom suite, laundry room and entry hall. The design is beautiful and the workmanship is excellent. We love our "new" home.

We used Gandalf Restorations for replacing our windows and siding and are greatly pleased at the quality of work they have done. We've also used their services on some smaller jobs and the attention to detail left us highly impressed. As long as this company is around we are going to use their services.

Alex and his team were an oasis in a desert of disappointment following hurricane Ida. It's seemingly very difficult to find good contractors, so I'm quite glad to have finally found a go-to guy for my (unfortunately never ending) home repair problems. His team was speedy, polite, and possessed an attention to detail and willingness to help out - even with the unforseen hitches along the repair - that has restored my faith in the home improvement industry. If I could give 6 stars I would.

UPDATE: Since I wrote this review last, I received a response from Gandalf Restorations owner, Alex, who was helpful in getting the issue resolved and cover the cost for the repair of the small chip in the stone. All's well that ultimately ends well! __________________________________________________________________________ We got our kitchen remodeled two years back through Gandolf Restorations. We originally chose them for their professionalism that they showed at the time of presentation. They also had a warranty for their service. Two years later my kitchen counter stone has a chip in it and inspite of approaching and respectfully writing to them more than half a dozen times the owner, Alex, has not responded after his first response. They do an ok job but needed to be micromanaged to get best results. I would not recommend Gandolf or any other business who does not stand behind their work! This is a tiny chip that could be easily filled and they could've saved their company's reputation but it's unacceptable to be non-responsive in a service based business.
