Louis and his team do excellent work. I have used them for a major renovation/addition as well as a roof replacement and smaller projects. I could not be more satisfied with their work. Louis is an excellent communicator, providing accurate estimates and timely schedules of work to be done. Workers show up on time and leave no trace of their presence when they are gone! I will definetly call them again.

We selected Louis from several builders during an interview process for our whole house renovation in Myers Park. Our initial decision was that right one as he did an excellent job helping us through the entire renovation process (which was our first). We came in at budget and were very pleased with the final product. Giacomini Builders was able to work with both our architect and us to ensure all our expectations were met or exceeded. Giacomini Builders have done both small and large jobs over the last several years. They are ALWAYS on time, clean up after themselves, are very thorough and are detail oriented. I have used this company for projects for the last 6 years. Some projects are very small (< $2000) and other renovations have been very large (100-200k). I get the same results with both small projects and big projects.

We've hired Louis Giacomini and Giacomini Builders for 2 renovations. They added a 2nd story on our house 7 years ago, and renovated our kitchen this year. Louis is detailed but also easy-going, and so we found him very easy to work with. He's honest, responsive, and respectful with everyone. And even though it must drive a contractor crazy, he was infinitely patient on both jobs with our desire to decide some things on the fly, based on how things looked...and he's great about offering up suggestions for cost-efficient alternatives. Even for the huge second story addition, he stayed within budget, and really protected the house while the roof was off (we lived in the house during the renovation!).
