From start to finish, our home build was an amazing process! From her subs, the TIME Chris and her daughter Carol spent with me making selections, HER ideas, and QUALITY of each step....were above and beyond our expectations. I was able to share thoughts and ideas and Chris made it reality. This storybook home is my forever home, but if I were ever to do it again, it would definitely be with Godsey Homes. Cannot say enough GOOD things about this family and builder! They are now our family and I will forever be grateful!

Chris has been helping my husband and I renovate our first home. Her ideas are so versatile which was very helpful since my husband and I were still learning what type of style we like. She's picked out everything from our interior and exterior paint colors, wood floors, carpet, design suggestions, you name it. Even the smallest details that she comes up with make the biggest difference. She has helped us completely transform our home and we've enjoyed every minute getting to work with her.

Godsey Homes is truly a pleasure to work with. Every detail is looked after and the end result is absolutely custom. In fact, I have toured many of Chris's projects and am always impressed with the creativity and individuality of each one. Her subcontractors are always respectful and Chris makes herself available to answer even the smallest questions. I have worked with Chris in new home builds as well as remodels, and after all these years, I won't so much as choose a paint color without her opinion!

We have been in our house for 6 weeks. We loved working with Chris Godsey. It is very important to trust your builder and feel like the people working the house are dedicated to a quality job. We have a beautiful home that is truly custom and had a great building experience.

I never thought building a house could possibly be a pleasant experience, but I had never worked with Godsey Homes! The big picture is one thing (which was excellent) but in was in the attention to detail that they made my dream house a reality. Morrison Supply has been working with Chris Godsey for years. And, it has been a pleasure. She is professional and very knowledgeable. She brings her clients to the showroom and helps with their selections for their new homes. She guides and advises them on their plumbing and hardware choices guarantying the items fit the style and look they are trying to achieve. She is creative and uses unique and fun items!

Some meetings are just meant to be. Ours with Chris and Wayne Godsey, happily, was one of them. In the early stages of thinking about building a custom home, I drove in a nearby neighborhood, and window peeped in on a custom home that appealed to me. Because the homes style matched exactly what I already had in my head for us, I told my husband that the builder, whom we did not know ..."already gets us"! The home had a Godsey Homes, sign in the yard. I called Chris and we met her at that home. Within minutes, we connected and felt comfortable with Chris . Because we were at her current build site, she was able to on the spot give us real cost numbers on some of the different trades. It was enough information to realize, that we not only could get a completely customized home, but one that we felt we could afford. We interviewed two other builders, but signed with Godsey Homes. Chris watched our pennies for us the entire time. If I said...could we...she always said...yes. Her contractors were top notch. They did an incredible job and also were interested in doing the challenging things that we wanted. We would reuse all of them. Her husband Wayne, is an engineer, so they make a wonderful team. I tell people, that if there is bad weather, we live in a "Wayne engineered bunker" and to come over for safety! Chris or Wayne were on the job site, EVERY DAY. We built a large, extremely customized home in 7 months...a record for Chris AND that was in spite of the fact that we got a record breaking 45" of rain during that period! In the end, we have a dream home that we love! Our dream... that came from our imaginations...in rock and mortar. We have since seen many of Chris' other custom homes and each is different from the rest. More dream homes, from other imaginations. In the end, and its now three years down the road, Chris came to my home today and we visited for 3 1/2 hours. Why? Because she is my friend! We were truly able to build a dream with the help of Godsey Homes. Throughout the building process Chris worked closely with us and her subs. She is on site daily making sure the job is being done as expected. When minor issues would arise, Chis would always rectify the issue to our satisfaction.
