Bob Rosenberg handled a roof replacement with associated repair work for us in a flawless manner. We had clear communication from the start and Bob handled our numerous questions with prompt and clear responses. When we had a potentially disastrous leak start before the roof work could begin, Bob sent out crew immediately who were able to stop the leak and prevent damage. We actually enjoyed having the different subcontractors onsite, everyone was friendly, on time and did a quality work. We are happy to recommend GR8Work Builders.

GR8Work Builders was involved in this office remodel from the time I hired my architect. They completed the work ahead of schedule, in approximately 5 months, includinmg several change orders created at my request. They did an excellent job in terms of quality and efficiency. They were extremely easy to work with, reliable, handllng all the subs seamlessly and always keeping me apprised on project status, sub visits and inspection meetings. They were always readily reachable by phone and responded quickly and positively to all questions and requests. Infrequently a problem came up which they handled immediately. The entire project went smoothly and I would definitely use them again.

We used Gr8work builders for a remodel project starting in October 2017. When we interviewed contractors, we were looking for a team that was honest, clear communicators, did high quality work and had a proven track record. Gr8work builders was a great choice. Bob and his team were professional and attentive throughout the process. We were most impressed by the way that they immediately made things right if something went not according to plan, no push back or questions asked. Bob and Mark have been wonderful! The project was big; we gutted a 2100 square foot apartment...and there was some urgency because we were eager to move in. They started on time and finished the entire project in 4 months: ON TIME! Their work is great and they are very easy to work with...there were some minor things on the punch list which they addressed immediately. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them and work with them again!

They are good at listening, explaining, suggesting, and attending to the details of the project. “They” includes craftsmen, supervisors, owners, office personnel and sub-contractors. We have worked with GR8WORK Builders for several years now, and four different projects. We are demanding customers in that we expect not only great quality of the finished work but also must have the project itself be conducted with the highest levels of professionalism. Last summer, I had the pleasure of working with GR8WORK Builders on an extensive remodel of my home in Palo Alto, CA. After a disappointing experience with another contractor, I found GR8WORK Builders through a recommendation of a neighbor on Nextdoor who had used them. I was impressed with owner Bob Rosenberg at my first meeting with him and at all times afterwards. He thoroughly explained his bid process and how he coordinated with his subcontractors. His bid was prompt and detailed. My remodel started on time, and Bob and/or project manager Mark were always available to discuss the project — by phone, email or in person. Our weekly on-site meetings were invaluable and kept the project moving along as we closely coordinated with various vendors and on decisions that I needed to make. The work performed by Bob’s team was of the highest quality. His subcontractors were excellent and such very nice people! They had a lot of pride in their work and paid close attention to details. I moved back into my house on the date promised. My friends and family are so impressed with how great this remodel turned out. My home is not just beautiful, but the underlying infrastructure is sound.

Bob Rosenberg bid on this bathroom floor and radiant heat project in an efficient and professional manner and brought to my attention issues that I needed to be aware of that would impact the complexity and cost of the project. It took me 16 weeks to secure the flooring material I desired and then Bob quickly responded and gave me a schedule for the work which was within my time frame. The work went very smoothly and neatly. All 3 trades were well coordinated and all of his subcontractors were neat, responsive, highly skilled and easy to work with. We finished faster than anticipated. I was totally happy with the process and the result. I am considering a new project and GR8Work will be at the top of my list for possible contractors. I highly recommend him.

I hired Bob at GR8works to implement my kitchen/family room design. It went very smoothly at ON TIME! BOb kept his word and had all subs here on time. I love my kitchen and family room. Bob does a fabulous job with detail and fine detail.

Bob and his crew did an excellent job replacing some old tired windows around my house. One of the windows was a custom VERY large piece of glass (actually double paned). Because Bob is committed to high quality and excellent workmanship he rejected the first windows sent from the manufacturer before they even came to the job site. What he did install was great. I highly recommend Bob and the crew he had do installation.

Bob and crew remodeled our kitchen. They did a beautiful job of it. The project came in on time, even though we added a couple changes. Bob kept us informed of the schedule progress the whole way. He is VERY organized. The subs were all pleasant and helpful. The process was very clean, because they carefully closed off the construction area from the rest of the house, and they cleaned up the kitchen and adjacent rooms when they finished. We never worried about any glitches, because Bob was on top of everything. Anything that needed adjusting was fixed very fast. This was really refreshing, compared to our experience with other contractors. We hope to use him again when we do more work on our home.

Bob Rosenberg's team at Gr8work Builders and I share a client in San Carlos for whom we're doing a complete remodel of the one bathroom in the home: I was hired to design the bath and Gr8work was hired to do the construction. Bob's team has been very collaborative with both me and the client, has made some excellent suggestions for pragmatic tweaks in the design drawings based on his many years of construction experience, and has executed the plan with great workmanship and skill. The bathroom is being transformed from narrow, dark, and univiting to airy, light-filled, and spa-like; no small feat for a bathroom that is only 7' x 9'! I would recommend Gr8twork Builders without hesitation and I hope to work with them again soon on future projects.

The contractor worked hand in glove with the decorator so that the plan we had in mind came into fruition perfectly. He worked well with the decorator, and complimented her by saying, “She has a good eye.” The general contractor selected expert electricians, plumbers, cabinetmaker, and other subcontractors who were well coordinated and moved along the process so that the endpoint fell into place in the time expected. Our neighbors are now envious of the superb results. The quality and timeliness of the work was excellent and beyond our expectations.

Bob Rosenberg and his GR8WORK team did an excellent job for us. Our recent kitchen and family remodel was the second project we did with Bob, and we would definitely work with him again. This was a highly custom job, and not only did Bob deliver high quality, but he managed the overall project very well. Bob Rosenberg, and his team of professionals and associates, transformed my town home, in which we had lived for 21 years. In additions to new flooring and painting throughout, we had major renovations to the master bath and correcting major water damage that we had as a result of difficulties caused by the original builders. Bob listened to our wants, needs and wishes and made helpful suggestions. He obtained all permits and inspections.Bob kept us appraised of all costs and timelines of the project. My favorite update was the one that began the entire project. We had a deep tub in the master bath, but now needed a walk in shower. Truly a masterpiece. Building a deck is not simple when it is placed on a steeply sloped hill, must avoid interference with all existing underground utility lines/septic and propane, and needs to seemlessly integrate in to the craftsman style of the much older home. But Bob and the GR8WORK team did a fantastic job of making our 22 year old dream come true. The new deck, and new door and window on to the deck, create a beautiful outdoor living space addition that looks like a natural extension of our original home. Fortunately for us, Bob and the team were very careful and very creative when tackling the construction complexities and overcame some key obstacles by suggesting design features that actually improved the original plans. We truly appreciated the attention to detail (indoor and out), Bob's timely updates regarding work scheduling and deliveries, and the daily work ethic and professionalism of the construction team. GR8Work Builders provided us with absolutely outstanding general contracting services. The firm’s principal, Bob Rosenberg, and his experienced team completed a downstairs remodel that included installation of French doors, new hardwood flooring throughout our living room, kitchen, and upstairs hallway, entryway tiling, remodeling of a powder bathroom, and painting and wallpapering of the aforementioned areas. Their work was of the highest quality with the utmost attention to detail. The hallmark of working with Bob was his exceptional communication and coordination. Bob was consistently proactive and thorough in communicating various project phases and details, in coordinating work of subcontractors, and in meeting timelines. As a result, work flow was maximized and minimally disruptive; Bob even managed to schedule the most difficult part of the job (flooring installation) while we were on vacation (preempting a move out). We never had contractor-related lags in our timeline, which seem so common in the industry. As evidence of his depth and breadth of experience, Bob brought in a skilled professional to install specialty hand-painted silk wallpaper in our living room. The installer was a true technician and knew exactly how to work with high-end, artisinal paper; and as a result, the paper is the pièce de résistance of our living space. Gr8twork Builders expertly replaced 11 windows and two doors , bringing them up to modern standards. They also repaired a bathroom ceiling, sheathed the inside of our garage and hung a suspended ceiling there. Bob Rosenberg is smart, very experienced, flexible and a a highly professional business leader. His crew members are experienced, highly skilled, detail oriented, and flexible on scheduling. He also choses excellent sub-contractors where appropriate: great expertise, classy work, on time and budget. Bob's crew and subcontractors meet milestones and deadlines, and correct any glitches immediately. They are also a pleasure to work with. We recommend GR8WORK Builders and Bob Rosenberg without qualification as outstanding remodelers at the Vi of Palo Alto. We obtained a Carmel Valley unit this January. We had the opportunity to meet with three contractors from the Vi list and had two bids on the project. Bob's bid was complete, detailed and understandable with a fixed price and completion schedule. We had weekly meetings on site to review the work and outline the future work. Billings were timely and clear and the price was as bid. Bob and his crew are true professionals working in a difficult environment under close contact by the Vi. Bob had great ideas and his suggestions were very helpful.
