We had an amazing experience with Heartwood and our first renovation project, especially during a pandemic! We hired Heartwood to do a master suite addition and a complete renovation of the first floor living and kitchen space. Tory did an amazing job at keeping the project on time and keeping us on track with deliverables. Throughout the project his communication kept us informed and he consistently checked in with us. He was very meticulous with details and worked to get all aspects right, within our budget. Heartwood was very professional and we love the finished project. Our experience with Heartwood was outstanding! We did a complete renovation of our entire home (bedrooms, family room, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. ). Sal and Tory (the father and son owners of Heartwood) are committed to quality craftsmanship and have a keen aesthetic eye. They are well versed in high end, current design and adept at making changes as needed on the spot should the vision change. Their recommendations on molding, coffered ceilings, cabinetry, fixtures, flooring, archways, etc. truly gave our home an exceptional magazine quality design. An outstanding company with professional, family leadership. We hired Heartwood to do an extensive renovation of our basement, master bedroom and bath, and downstairs guest and powder rooms. Knowledgeable in all aspects of building and renovation, their attention to detail and knowledge of solutions to any obstacle that came our way, allowed them to produce a remarkable finished product. Tory (GC) dealt with unexpected complications immediately, never defining them as problems, but rather "challenges in need of solutions." Heartwood are the only builder's I would ever use to remodel or construct a new home. in 2004, they totally remodeled the home I was living in. Again, they were so focused on making me happy in terms of getting me the look and style I wanted and the absolute best in materials and craftsmanship. Coming from England I was looking for a construction company who paid attention to detail and had a very high standard of finish. This was difficult to find with so many builders out on the East End (Long Island) until I found The Heartwood Corporation. This construction company has the highest standard which provides an immaculate finish. During the build the work was always neat and tidy with very professional hard working staff who were meticulous in their workmanship and had a pro-active approach to their jobs. I worked alongside Heartwood with what I wanted, they totally got me and kept me updated 24/7. Communication was second to none you know what is going on with everything the entire time. If you're looking for the ultimate in luxury with a high end build and design these are most definitely your guys. Outstanding!!

We are proud owners of a Heartwood House in Southampton, NY that was built 4 years ago, and we could not be more pleased! It is a large house with a geothermal system. It is beautifully crafted and it was a pleasure working with Sal and ToRy Amato. They consistently over delivered on everything they said they would do. They have excellent subs, and they get the best work out of the. The quality is the best, and the pricing is very fair. The work is done with a long term focus. Our whole family loves the house, and we recommend them very highly.

After interviewing several builders, I chose Heartwood to build my professional office for me. The project involved gutting a historical building (which has limitations) and redoing the entire inside and outside of the building. They worked professionally and efficiently, and stayed within our initial guidelines. Anything that took longer or cost more was only because of additional work I added along the way. The final product was beautiful and I still get daily compliments from patients. Even six years after the project, I still have a great relationship with Tory and Sal. If ever I have a question or need to know something about the systems, Tory will stop over the office if he's available. I would certainly work with them on another project in the future.

I purchased a house from Sal. I have been very happy with the house. It was well built and designed. In addition, I have continued to use Tory, Sal's son, and Heartwood on a number of significant projects, including installation of a generator, street drains, landscaping, gates, a well and irrigation system, additional fencing, demolition, remodeling, as well as supervising general maintenance projects re painting, deck work, patios etc. They do excellent work. Tory is very responsive and thorough. He is meticulous about getting the details right and getting the job done on time and within budget. I would highly recommend them and have, in fact, done so to others who have been equally satisfied with their work.

I contracted the Heartwood Corporation to renovate several rooms in my new home. They were extremely professional, thorough and very easy to work with. For example, they took the initiative to explore if certain projects needed authorization from the Town. This was a big savings and time as some building codes had been changed as recent as three months from my the beginning of my project. The extent of my project included the almost gut renovation of the master bathroom to updating 4 other bathrooms. It also included a major ceiling repair and patio deck. They were very meticulous and completed the job to perfection. I was extremely satisfied with their work. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Heartwood has done two renovations to our house, so obviously we were so happy with their work that we wanted them back. The first was a major and complicated addition including a new third floor, new main floor wing, new gourmet kitchen, new garage, bathrooms and more. Sal and Tory Amato are both creative and detail-oriented, and very nice to work with. For the first renovation, they followed the architect's specs perfectly, but whenever complication arose, they came up with resourceful solutions. The second time around, they designed a new porch with electric screens. The quality of their work is excellent and they are so efficient that both jobs were finished ahead of schedule.
