Holthaus Building, Inc. is a family business. The father-son team of Lyle Holthaus and his son Jay combines more than 40 years of experience in the custom home building business. Lyle has been helping home owners bring their dream homes to reality since 1976. In 1996 Jay joined his father, bringing his years of experience as a structural engineer. Since 2006, Holthaus Building has constructed more than 60 luxury custom homes in the Kansas City area and has completed countless home remodeling projects. Holthaus Building provides home owners with a personalized, hands-on experience from design through completion. Jay is on the jobsite every day and personally oversees every project. Home owners communicate directly with Jay throughout the design and construction of their custom home or home remodeling project, ensuring that the completed project meets or exceeds their needs and expectations. Holthaus Building partners with the Kansas City area's most talented architects, designers and craftsmen to provide exceptional quality and craftsmanship. We design and construct luxury custom homes from the $600,000s and up in neighborhoods throughout the Kansas City metro area. We can also build on lots or property already owned by the homeowner. Holthaus Building also offers home remodeling services, including whole-house remodeling, home additions, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, basement and lower level finishing, and outdoor living areas, allowing home owners to transform their existing house into the home they've always wanted.
