When we purchased property outside Missoula, a friend of ours from Portland told us "he knew a guy he used to ski with - he thought he built homes in Missoula. We should look him up." We did. And never looked back. From our custom designed 100x50 foot metal shop building, with a small apartment, to our 5000 square foot custom log home, Hoyt Homes has been with us the whole time. Wade and his crew do incredible work. From the road builder to the tile setter, to the finish carpenters, Wade only uses top notch subs, and has a small army to choose from. The Hoyt Homes office staff were responsive and helpful and the field staff were amazing as well. On a project of our scale, I won't say it was perfect, or that everything went smoothly, but the few minor bumps (which honestly should be expected) were few and far between. That being said, we LOVE our custom home and could not be happier that we chose Hoyt Homes to build it.

We built our first home this past year and felt very fortunate to work with Hoyt Homes. The patience that comes with the experience of Wade and his team at Hoyt Homes made the challenging task of building a custom home easier than we could have ever imagined. There is so much going on in the building process and Wade, Shelley and Jeremy were all very approachable and their response time getting back to us when we had questions or concerns was fantastic. Hoyt Homes built a fine home for me! They are large enough to take on multimillion dollar projects but small enough to address the customer face to face. They were able to effectively leverage their relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and local authorities to provide a product, as specified, on budget and within a reasonable time period. Hoyt Homes is squared away and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home builder.

I worked in the contracting industry for years and I know how time consuming, difficult and stressful it can be for the homeowner, I will say unequivocally that having Hoyt Homes build a new home for me was very much the exception to this! From start to finish they were always available to me if I had questions or wanted changes. Everyone who worked on the house and in Hoyt’s office was unfailingly pleasant and always patient with my questions. From the beginning of the project to the finish the workmanship of both the Hoyt employees as well as his subcontractors indicated skill as well as huge pride in their work. The suppliers recommended made making choices easy and fun. All of the work was done when they told me that it would be done and my house was completed when they said that it would be. The finishing work and materials are beautiful. This house is everything that I wanted because Wade Hoyt and his team listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Without question, I would use Hoyt Homes for any future construction projects and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a builder.

If you have never been involved in building a home "from the ground up", it is quite the journey. Having built one prior home we had a good idea of what to expect. But the process can be made or broken by the choices required to "stick build" a home. Quite possibly the single most important decision in building a home is selecting the "right" contractor...one who will include the homeowners as part of the team, guide the homeowners through a myriad of decisions and keep everyone on track. We are most pleased to have selected Hoyt Homes, Inc.as our builder. Led by Wade Hoyt, his staff and subcontractors were not only a pleasure to work with, they are unquestionably some of the best in the building industry. We moved into our new home two months ago to our full satisfaction of the excellent work that has provided us with a well built, comfortable home. We are happy to be a reference for Hoyt Homes and share our positive experience.

Wade and his staff including Shelley and Jeremy were exceptional to work with and we think Hoyt Homes was absolutely the right choice for us. Wade's date of completion was spot on and we had no suprises along the way. Wade and staff are true professionals and it is apparent why they are successfull. Hoyt Homes did a major renovation on our 100 year old home. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome! In fact, Hoyt Homes exceeded our expectations in it's attention to detail. They replicated the siding, corbels and trim of our original home in the new addition. Wade designed and built the open breezeway between our house and garage, which we love. He is very responsive when we have called with minor requests after the project was finished. No one can believe how happy we were with our contractor! We highly recommend Hoyt Homes for it's high standards for employees and subcontractors, and for it's excellent results.

We hired the Hoyt team based on recommendations from real estate agents we know. Wade and Shelley were up front with the expected costs being slightly more than other contractors in the area to build our "Forever Home". We knew we would be upgrading most of the finishes so the additional cost did not concern us. The project started on time, and as things progressed Jeremy and Wade explained what was going on and why they had to do things in a certain way or specific sequence. When I had questions the Hoyt team usually got back to us the same day even if things came up on a weekend. Any concerns we had were addressed completely and efficiently to our satisfaction for our peace of mind. The quality of construction, materials used, and attention to detail set Hoyt Homes at a level other contractors would have difficulty achieving. During one of our many planning stages at the Hoyt office, I made a comment about the insulated vent ducting for the bathrooms in the house and shop as I never would have thought to use insulated duct for that application. Wade told me that the insulated ducting is a code requirement. I replied that I would have not known the difference if they had not installed the ducting in that manner. Wade's reply was " I would have known and that is not how we do things here". Integrity and pride in workmanship defines the Hoyt philosophy in building our home.

Hoyt homes built a house for my husband and I, finishing this year. The builder provided excellent quality work! Over all we are very happy with our house. Shelley with hoyt homes was a reliable communicator as communication between sub contractors, the builder and us was sometimes a challenge. Examples: freds delivering the wrong appliances. Shelley was quick to respond to e mails and calls which i really appreciated. We would definitely choose hoyt homes again if we ever decide to build another home. Thank you so much hoyt homes!
