John and Ben were great to work with , they communicated well, gave good suggestions and didn't get upset when asked to do a slight design modification. Finding the right people to complete home renovations can be stressful, especially when it is your first time renovating. We were fortunate to have found Ironwood General Contracting. We were living in our condo during the removal and replacement of all our flooring. Ben and John took great care in ensuring our lives were disrupted as little as possible. They are detailed oriented professionals who showed us the utmost respect, kept us updated throughout the project and completed the work to a high quality level. The 2 gentlemen that own & run this company are absolutely extraordinary. They are true professionals that do outstanding work. We first hired them to completely redo our entire basement. We then hired them again to renovate our staircase, upstairs landing & washroom. This summer they worked on completely redoing our main floor. My girls & I go away over the summer & I couldn't wait to come back to see my 'new' house, even though that meant back to work for me & school for the kids. I was not disappointed one bit. Ben & John are exceptional. They are reliable, honest, fair, patient, trustworthy, clearly experienced & knowledgeable, communicate well, treat your home as their own, work with you & so much more. I hired Jon and Ben to complete my basement remodelling. I had the electrical, plumbing and HVAC done myself with help of my in-laws who hold electrical license, while I hold the plumbing and HVAC certificates. Jon and Ben were amazing in communication and planning out the work so everything could get accomplished on schedule without incident of erroneous placement or forgetting to get an item installed. Their tile work, and mudding and taping of drywall are beautifully done. They were great at helping my wife and I make decisions in regards to door locations, bulkheads and even helped direct us in what products to use to get the best finished product without blowing the budget. They were very clean in their work, and very accommodating on time lines, and allowing the other trade works to be completed without conflict. Thanks Jon and Ben for all your hard work, and the beautiful finished product.
