I recently completed a renovation of my home with JKL Development which included installing wood floors, all new countertops, tile bathroom floors, and repainting the entire house. Overall, I’m very happy with the results. The quality of the work is excellent—my floors, countertops, and bathrooms all look great. While the timeline was delayed and the project was finished a couple of months later than originally expected, it was still completed within budget, which I really appreciated. Throughout the process, Jeff was easy to work with, always answering my questions and addressing my concerns. His communication was solid, and he was proactive about keeping me updated on progress. Despite the delays, I’m very satisfied with the outcome and would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a reliable contractor. His professionalism and the quality of his work made the process worthwhile.

I recently completed a total renovation of my 3050sq home with Jeff and was very happy with the results. Jeff was attentive, taking the time to understand my vision and needs. We recently completed a major renovation of our 3,700 sq ft house, while we were 2,500 miles away. The entire project, including planning, lasted nearly a year. We just completed our home improvements with JKL Development, and we are thrilled with the results. It feels like a new house, and turned out better than we imagined. It's a stressful undertaking to do home improvements, and working with Jeff made it much easier. He is obviously skilled, experienced, and was honest with us in helping us shape our project. Jeff and his team completed a renovations at my home and I couldn't have selected a more professional team. Jeff's support team were all very professional, aware of keeping dust to a minimum and cleaned up daily after their day ended. The workers were punctual and polite, wearing mask and booties. I no longer can recommend due to the fact that they never tied up simple yet annoying loose ends. Some of which caused more damage than others. Let me begin… - Neglecting putting vanity plates back on and leaving them in a pile of trash in my garage. - Left my refrigerator that went in my laundry room in the garage were it still is today. - Plumber didn’t put in an air gap. So when we got our RO reconnected it caused flooding in our brand new kitchen once again. Which caused our new Kitchenaid dishwasher to… how shall I say it… “get fried beyond repair!!” I thank God!! I was still under the manufacturer’s warranty and was able to get a replacement. However, it took nearly six months to get a new dishwasher. Therefore was once again doing dishes by hand. What a nightmare!! Jeff told me he would contact my insurance adjuster himself this time around and take care of all the repairs. Last time we my husband handled all insurance matters. I should have known he was just going to throw my kitchen repairs under the bus. It’s now been nearly two years and I have not heard from him. I finally gave up , hence my updated review. I am afraid to even change out the filters to my RO system due to the fact it could flood out my kitchen once again. Back to bottled water. Not to mention granite countertop seams all separated because of water swelling. Which unfortunately led to some cracking. Cabinets as well as the floor board swelled. What once was supposed to be my dream kitchen is now just a mess. I can’t spend a lot of time in because I have difficulty breathing and become lightheaded. My dogs are now digging at the walls and barking constantly down next to the kitchen. I believe they are trying to tell us something is going on within the walls. Idk?? Oh yes!! I almost forgot we had to replace my seven year old Whirlpool Duets within two months of our remodel due to the washer starting leaking after they reconnected it for the probably fourth time of moving it back and forth. Not gently as I recall. I called and reported to Scott. Plumbing came out told me “it was fine it must have just been left over water”. Needless to say it continued to slowly leak and my washer ended up dying. Unfortunately not under warranty. Technician advised we were better off replacing. He also told me I should have gotten at least a few more years out of washer. I could go on believe it or not but I think I made my point!! Scott made big promises that I would be 100% satisfied by the time my job was finished. Clearly I am not!! So much for his philosophy “less is more”. With that said…I will say I am not easy to please. Overall not a pleasant experience and in all good conscience I sadly can no longer recommend JKL Development Inc.

We recently underwent a a full remodel of our 5000 sq ft home with JKL Development. The project took about 8 months, and while construction was no walk in the park, and our ideas may not always concur, Jeff was very responsive and responsible during the whole remodel. His sub's workers were very respectful and accommodating. Working through the COVID crisis threw us a curve ball, but Jeff was always there to go over ideas and to find solutions to issues that came up along the way. He went above and beyond to stay true to our vision of the final product and to help us with all the details in craftsmanship that one would expect of high end construction. Our house turned out beautiful and we are happy to be back in it. It was a positive experience and I would recommend his services.

JKL did an incredible job with our remodel. From start to finish, the detail involved in the project was awesome and the quality of work outstanding. Jeff and his team removed 2 exterior windows and install a sliding glass door in their place. From the initial contact until the trim was complete they provided a professional experience. Jeff is not only knowledgable in construction, but has a great eye for detail and architecture. The stucco and drywall patching is some of the best I have ever seen, and his door trim staff provided exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend JKL for anything you need.

Jeff and his team did a fabulous job on our complete house renovation. The quality of the work is first rate. We set a timeline and budget for the project which worked well. We were able to make adjustments along the way which did impact the budget and timeline but we agreed to this prior to any changes in the plan. The subcontractors that Jeff used for our remodel were very knowledgeable and experienced and the results were fantastic. Jeff is very knowledgeable and professional. He is very responsive and accessible. One of our challenges was we were not living here while most of the remodeling was taking place. I was referred to JKL Development by a wood floor installer who told me he was the best! I must agree, he was right! Jeff not only facilitated the changes I was looking for, but made suggestions that I never would have even thought of that totally transformed my home. All the subcontractors were people who were conscientious and skilled. I trusted them in my home. Many of his subs mentioned to me how lucky we were to have JKL to our remodel for us. They seemed to have respect and a great working relationship with him. The superintendent over our remodel, Scott, was outstanding! Jeff recently completed an extensive re-model of our home in Summerlin. We extended the house, put in a new kitchen and master bath including moving walls around, added an office and wine cellar, re-plumbed, and much more. Jeff was an excellent general contractor, he has an easy attitude, good attention to detail, and has an excellent supporting cast of subcontractors. We would definitely work with him again, and are very happy with the results.

I recently had Scott and Jeff estimate and fully complete a really extensive remodel of my home in Henderson. The home was built in 1996, and needed some updating. They estimated - a fully torn out and remodeled master bath - a matching remodeled guest bathroom - a re-imagined entertainment area including stacked stone from floor to ceiling, wall mounted LED TV and a refinished fireplace with fireglass - full interior paint - remediation of problems the house had when I bought it (like... it didnt have a railing on the main staircase!) - replacement of all the carpeting - spot replacement of several tiles in the townstairs - maintenance and tuning up of all doors to ensure strike plates, lockets etc were working smoothly - electrical fixture replacement I cannot say enough about Scott and his partner Jeff. Not only did they come into the home and really listen to what it was we were trying to do, but he also proactively suggested design elements and materials that would look good. He promised a timeline and budget and then stuck to it, providing me with detailed breakdowns of where the money went. I would have NO hesitation calling JKL again for more work.

JKL did an amazing renovation on my 3200 sqft house. We had the kitchen redone, fireplace redone, new shelves and cabinets installed, drywall removed and an incredible wave tile wall installed with our TV cut into the center. They finished on time and left our house in excellent condition. I highly recommend them!

We are from Canada and we own a vacation home in Henderson. We were looking to have our fireplace replaced/upgraded and some stone work done. While shopping for a fireplace we found Jeff Lewis's huge business card. First thing that impressed me was this business card. You never have to look for it . . .no matter where you put it. Handiest thing. We called him and within a day or two we had a meeting set up with him to come by and give us a quote. We didn't know exactly what we wanted but Jeff helped us figure it out and we left a lot of it up to him. All the rest was handled with emails and texting. We showed up this Christmas and were so excited to find everything looking even better than we could have imaged. The flat screen TV securely mounted over the fireplace with all the cables, cords and wiring hidden, beautiful stonework and a spotless house. Jeff built a 15' x 30' covered balcony off the back of my house and did an AMAZING JOB!! I was very particular on how I wanted it to look and he went out of his way to make it happen! Renovation of master bathroom. Contractor: Jeff Lewis Jeff was very competitive with the other contra tractors we interviewed. He met with us at our home numerous times and was extremely patient answering all of our questions. He also returned our phone calls promptly. The sub contractors he works with we're very professional. They worked neatly and when the bathroom was completed. There was very little to clean. Jeff coordinated the sub contractors and kept us informed on who would be working each day. The subs were prompt and took pride in their work. After we contracted Jeff , he went with us to the look at the tub, sinks, faucets, granite and tile companies to make sure everything we chose worked well together. In addition, he made suggestions about the mirrors we chose and came up with a much better selection. We definitely would use Jeff Lewis again and would also recommend him to friends. I wanted to replace my gas fireplace but beyond just taking out the old gas box I didn't really know what I wanted to do to update the face & mantle. They gave me alot of great ideas, and patiently worked with me to come up with something that looks awesome & was within my budget. They kept in contact via phone & e-mail and were very knowledgable, always prompt & courteous. I highly recommend this company and plan to utilize them again for other projects I have in mind.

We hired him to take down a non-working fireplace and replace with a new one, wooden mantle included. Even with a mishap regarding the tile due to the supplier not paying attention, he handled our project professionally and courteous, was done on time and kept us informed every step of the way. I feel we got an excellent product for the price. Would definitely do business with this company again.

JKL Dev't replaced two fireplaces - one inside and one outside - at my residence and did some cosmetic work on the house. His employees and his subcontractors all were resectful of me and my property. They made sure to leave the worksite clean when the day's work was completed. Jeff's prices for the projects he did were within standards for the high quality of work performed. I would certainly recommend Jeff's skills to a friend or relative and I will use his services again.
