Joe Fernandez of JMF Construction created a gorgeous new kitchen for me by enclosing an exterior alcove and completely renovating the space. I’m delighted with the final result. Joe has all the resources – electrician, plumber, HVAC contractor, tile guy. His long, successful work history aids him in his coordination of his projects and the knowledge to know when he has discovered a problem which needs to be addressed before he can proceed. Joe’s expertise is in making furniture, so cabinet installation is a breeze for him and it is always perfect. He made custom benches for my eating nook, as well as a custom bench in the mudroom. He is knowledgeable about every aspect of every job. He’s also very creative at “making things work”, as when he re-fashioned the gas range vent to make it fit properly in the “pretty” vent cover. He took a plumbing shaft which would no longer be used and made a small eight-shelf closet for cleaning supplies. Joe has attention to detail and an excellent work ethic. Joe Fernandez of JMF Construction has executed numerous projects on our home over the last few years. Internally we decided to remodel our den, first floor bathroom and master bathroom in consultation with a home designer. The fine craftsmanship was clearly apparent as Joe is a true stickler for deal. He also custom designed and constructed our master bathroom countertop as well as our den entertainment center. These projects were performed over numerous years and the fact we brought him back is a testament to his precise work. Exterior, Joe refaced our 3 season room with new cedar shingling as well as the 2nd floor dormers. JMF is highly recommended for precision craftsmanship.

I used JMF Construction to build two decks, one main one and one smaller one, in my backyard. I cannot recommend them enough. The job got done quickly and beautifully and I'm so happy with their suggestion to change the decking material from wood to a low-maintenance synthetic product which I will never have to sand, varnish or paint. I have many years of experience with remodeling and renovating properties and was so happy to come across people who take their profession seriously and don't cut corners.

We hired Joe to do some installation work in our kitchen and were extremely pleased with his attention to detail. He was experienced, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. He is a true problem solver who is capable of handling unexpected issues with ease. JMF did a superb Job with the custom renovation and remodeling of my Town House. The woodwork, trim, wainscoting, cabinets, custom granite counter tops, lighting and hard word floor installation war all of the highest quality.
