About Us

We are a 2015 & 2017 Best of Houzz Licensed General Contractor and Home Remodeling Firm Specializing in Residential and Commercial Projects. We have been in business since 2005 and are dedicated to providing our clients with an enjoyable experience from the start of the project through completion. We work with all Architectural Firms and Interior Designers who like us strive to stretch the realms of possibility with our Design Build Projects for our clients. We first listen to our clients' needs and visions then we incorporate them along with our own creative suggestions to come up with a home or office they will enjoy living or working in. Joe built a home that I designed for a private client and I couldn't have been happier with the whole process. We really worked together as a team and it resulted in a great house. He was very attentive to detail and was very conscious of schedule. Looking forward to working with him again.

Joe Staub is a wonderful contractor to work with. He is a good listener and was masterful in executing all of my design ideas into a cohesive functional plan. Joe is honest and trustworthy. He was at our job site daily and always in touch via phone or texting to be sure things were running smoothly. We stayed on budget and on time!

We built a house last year with Joe. He was always very responsive to questions and concerned about our desired outcome for the home. He hires great subs and oversees the work very closely. Highly recommended.

My husband and I hired Joe Staub Building Group to add a covered deck onto the back of our home. We could not be happier with the results. We simply wanted to add a run of the mill deck, but we got so much more. As my sister recently commented after jogging through our neighborhood, "You have the nicest deck on the block!" and we do. It is so professional looking and was finished with the utmost attention to detail. Joe and his crew could not have been any more courteous and respectful of our home. My husband and I are very indecisive and Joe took this in stride. We were constantly changing the plans, building materials, size of the project, etc and he never was seemed frustrated with us. He listened and made sure we were 100% happy with the project. We did have some siding start to come loose in the heat of the summer, but we called Joe and he sent someone out to fix it right away. Wonderful service! We will definitely use him again!

We contracted Joe to finish our attic space, which required extensive work to go from extra storage space to a complete livable space and bathroom. From the first meeting, we knew Joe was our guy. He arrived punctually, was courteous and was diligent in understanding our vision and the process which needed to be undertaken to make it happen. Through every step he was thorough, informative, and mindful of our budget. He was very careful with oversight in terms of zoning laws, the engineering considerations and the precautions required to protect the structural integrity of our home. The end product was a gorgeous new space that came in on budget and in line with our vision. We get compliments on it from every guest that comes through! We would recommend Joe without reservation and look forward to working with him again on future projects.

After much research and "due dilligence", Joe Staub was hired as our general contractor for a multitude of tasks. He was able to accomplish everything asked of him in a timely and most of all, a professional manner. His tasks included demolition and debris removal, excavation and compacting of soil, complete construction of a two story, custom three car garage with a true "man cave", deck construction, elaborate concrete work, custom electrical work, landscaping, shoreline preservation, and renovation of a gezebo and shed. He is conscientious and has the ability to get any mission accomplished with both quality and professionalism. His family is now welcome friends of our family!

Joe M. Staub Building Group is the most honest and respectful contracting companies I have ever met and used with a major home project (my house flooded and had to be rebuilt). Joe will do whatever is in his power to help you but also, will not promise things he can't deliver. He will also make any wrongs, right. I was completely satisfied with the work he did to my home. He did beautiful work. I am a single homeowner and I have had many challenges with contractors, yet, I trust him completely. He still gives me friendly advice 5 years later. I feel very lucky to have found his company.

Joe Staub of Joe M. Staub Building Group has provided a multitude of services for me over the years. My most recent experience was work that his company conducted at my pool. We increased the size of our concrete deck while adding additional concrete walkways, relocated the pool filter, added additional electrical outlets as well as relocated electrical lighting and junction boxes, and added black aluminum fencing around the entire pool area. Joe was instrumental in getting this job done in a timely, professional, and economic manner. Truly, Joe's company works very professionally, fairly, and personably.

We hired Joe Staub to do a complete re-model of our kitchen. It came out great! He gave us an accurate estimate and did a fantastic job. In fact, he brought the project in a week early. Can't ask for more than that. No hidden costs, honest and straight forward. Joe's entire crew was a pleasure to work with.

Joe Staub Building Group built a porch for us and it was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Joe had a terrific attitude, always met deadlines, and was very communicative about the project from start to finish, even when we would be indecisive or change something. His team was extremely knowledgeable and clearly were experts. The porch is beautiful and turned out exactly as described.
