We originally inquired for a contractor could install solid wood bamboo countertops and bamboo panelling in the bathroom but were very pleased with our decision to have Kinben Collective be our general contractor for the kitchen and bathroom (except cabinetry). Our house is a small post-war home so it came complete with its share of unexpected surprises; but at each turn, Jason and his crew went about their business without a hitch and were always timely in communicating. From the initial meetings which were extremely detailed and complete, Jason was always available to discuss the project and clarify details. When faced with dilemmas, Jason was always about coming up with creative and practical solutions. When something was completed incorrectly or other challenges encountered, Jason was very forward with addressing the problem in a fair and timely manner. As with any project, there will always be obstacles, errors, misunderstandings or delays but Jason and his team always worked at finding a solution and addressing the problem in a fair and timely manner. As with anything, sometimes a compromise has to take place in order for the project to be completed from a practical standpoint but I appreciated the most, from Jason and team, their ability to collaboratively work together to come to a solution. We look forward to working with Jason and team for future projects.

Jason and his team were amazing! They were very organized before and during the project. They were beyond friendly and very thoughtful and so easy to communicate with. They added additional side projects into their time at our house and completed all the projects with ease and confidence. Projects included new basement bathroom, crown moulding in kitchen, shelving in kitchen, new toilet on main floor, new mirror and light fixture in upstairs bathroom, new closet door in one bedroom, fixed crack in garage ceiling. I am thoroughly impressed with Jason's whole team and would welcome them back at any time for our next project!

I worked with Jason and his team on redoing my new home’s flooring. They were courteous and professional. They meticulously inspected every nook and corner of the space, patiently explained to me the approaches they’d take with the tricky spots (inside the closets, under the kitchen appliances, etc), and effectively executed on their plan. They even repaired some of my hard-to-open doors during the process. The results were wonderful. I will keep coming back to Kinben Collective for my future home improvement needs.

They renovated our existing main bathroom. Made it new and modern. Very professional and clean. Sourced the vanity and tub for us at a great price. Worked with us to make design adjustments wherever required. Pricing was reasonable. Good communication and workmanship.

Jason helped fix a leak in my shower and patched our drywall. He was very professional and had great attention to detail. Would definitely recommend for future projects!

Had Jason come and replace my kitchen sink plumbing which had cracked from the weight of the sink. He remounted my sink and fixed the support beam under the kitchen countertops which had always come off since I moved in. He also replaced the leaking parts. On the way out, he offered to fix a few more things such as balcony door and re-silicone parts in the washroom

Amazing service from Jason and his team. So personable, friendly, efficient and accommodating to our various requests. They came up with solutions constantly instead of giving us road blocks. Jason & Co put up dry walls, barn doors, various made to measure shelves and completely remodelled our kitchen as well as other odds and ends within a tight deadline. Lovely team - can't wait to get them over again for other projects.
