Dave and Ann sanded, color-matched and refinished all the oak windowsills and window frames in our home, including some that had been blackened from water condensation over the decades. They also refinished our oak panel front door hearth, which was severely blackened from snow meltwater. Their work is outstanding. The project was completed on time and underestimate. They were always prompt and courteous; explained their work plan daily; did very careful preparation work; accommodated our requests where possible; and worked quietly, efficiently and with great concentration. It was pleasant to have them in our home. We appreciated their levels of craftmanship and customer service as being far beyond industry standards. We plan to hire them again to refinish our oak cupboards. We recommend them highly. Their work is 5-star.

Dave re-stained my cupboard doors. A few were fairly worn after 18 years of use. They turned out looking new! Dave did a wonderful job. I am now going to have him re-stain my round oak dining room table.

Dave and Ann from Kyle’s Wood Touch up and Repair were fantastic. They completed a small home project for me that included wood refinishing and repairs, and they also repaired and refinished an upright piano that has been in the family for years. Their attention to detail is unmatched and the overall quality of their workmanship is impeccable. I am very happy with the results; everything was completed to my satisfaction. After researching numerous businesses looking for a well-thought-of company and expert in wood finishing and wood finish repair, I contacted Kyle’s Wood Touch up and Repair for a small home project. My overall experience with Dave and Ann was exceptional! I was extremely pleased with the quality of the materials used and the professional workmanship achieved on my cabinets, railings, floor transitions, entertainment unit, and various pieces of furniture throughout the house. I am very happy with the results, everything was completed to my satisfaction, within budget and on schedule. I would highly recommend this business to whoever needs wood finishing or repairs. Dave and Ann did an amazing job restoring our office and bringing our 20-year-old wood cabinets back to life. They were able to repair all of the water damage, chips, and scars, making our cabinets look nearly new again! Dave and Ann pay great attention to detail. Considering their decades of experience and expertise in woodworking, their price is very fair and the quality is second to none. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Amazing dark wood cabinet and hood fan touch up work by Dave and Ann. Color match was perfect and they even left some touch up paint for any small mishaps in the future.

The Kyle team was very professional, friendly, and efficient. I had deep dog mark scratches on our window's trim. The job was bigger than anticipated and the cost of the job was out of my price range (we're in a rental). They worked with me on ways to save! They coached me through the process of stripping the finish off the trim to raw wood and sanding. They promptly answered my questions and gave support throughout. When I had done the job to the best I'd my ability, they came back to my home to do the final sanding, color match, staining, and sealing. The stain color was a perfect match and I am very happy with the final result. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in Calgary or the surrounding area who has a wood repair job big or small!

I recently had Kyle's Wood Tourch Up And Repair help me with my aging kitchen cupboards. The job was more complicated than expected but he worked at it with good cheer, even though it was 35 degrees. I found Dave to be polite, professional and prompt. He gave me some good advice about where to buy hard to find hardware and even left me some screws. Thanks Dave. Dave and Ann did a meticulous job repairing and touching-up our bedroom suite that was damaged in a move. It looks brand new! They were also friendly, professional, competent, and showed up when they said they would. Altogether a great experience working with them.
