I can't thank John, Jessica, and the crews of LICC enough for the wonderful job they did on my home. We reworked an old floor plan to be more open and functional and breathed new life into a dated kitchen with a complete overhaul. LICC has renewed my faith in quality craftsmanship and home repairs in general. The construction portal, their professionalism, and keen attention to detail has made me a customer for life. I can't stop raving about their work and how my house finally feels like a home!

We did extensive research before picking John Petsco and LICC to do a gut renovation of our house. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice! Throughout, John was communicative and transparent, and his contractors were of the highest quality. And importantly for us, John understood our open concept vision from day one -- it was like he could read our minds. Among other things: * John helped us discover what was possible to do with the house. After tearing down the walls, he worked with an architect to figure out whether it was possible to vault the ceilings and how. * John pushed back on our ideas when they would have been too expensive for our budget, or overall not worth the money. He worked with us to find different, but equally gorgeous, ways to solve the same problem. * John ran a tight ship, and made clear when we had to pick out doors, materials, etc. This helped the project run on schedule (though of course there were inevitable delays with supplies due to Covid). * When some items were damaged in transit, John worked with suppliers to get replacements ASAP. * When we needed additional work done (e.g. to plan the backyard), John recommended other contractors, all of which have been professional and of high quality. * There was never any doubt how much anything would cost or when we'd be charged. When unexpected issues came up, John was clear and transparent about what our options were and worked with us to decide how to proceed. After the initial renovation, we continued to work with John to renovate our back yard and pool, and have recommended him to multiple friends who are doing similar projects.

My wife and I are so happy with the job that John and his crew did for us in creating a new entryway to our house. There were a number of obstacles that had to be dealt and those obstacles were taken care of professionally and constructed with high quality. Both John and Jessica were easy to talk to and listened to our concerns with understanding and the final product could not have come out any better. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.

In the past, LICC renovated our kitchen and built us a deck so when we bought our new house, there was no question what company we were going to use. This was a major project. They gutted the house, built an extension and remodeled both the downstairs and upstairs of our home. They installed a new hvac system, all new floors, light fixtures, windows and cabinets, They took down walls, built a new banister for the staircase, refaced my fireplace and built a new front door.. John helped us design the home of our dreams. He is the most amazing contractor. He handled everything. He dealt with the town for our permits, took care of electric, plumbing, hvac, installation etc. John doesn’t cut corners. He was hands on from the beginning until our house was complete. He showed up and made sure everything was completed in the time frame he said it would be completed. We trust him completely. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was on point. John’s crew was respectful, skilled and attentive. They answered any questions as they came up.. His office staff helped me pick out fixtures and colors and were always available to discuss my ideas for decorating my house. We are beyond happy in our home. LICC did an amazing job. I recently contracted with LICC to renovate two bathrooms and a bedroom in my home. My master bath is the size of a broom closet. The layout was poor to the point where the door would regularly smack into the shower stall door and I was waiting for one to break at some point. The LICC team completely transformed the footprint to where the bathroom is spa-like with a contemporary feel and frankly I will never be embarrassed if someone has to use it. In fact, once we can resume having guests over, I plan to make it the first stop on the house tour. As for the other bath, it is the hall bath that my kids use which was in a sad state prior to bringing the LICC team in to fix it. The team created a modern B&W look that is highly functional. The full tiled bath makes it easy to clean up after the kids and the color scheme allows me to flex on decor. I have enjoyed so much the level of service that the LICC team provides. I was so pleased with the work on the bathrooms that I added the bedroom renovation mid-project, which they were able to accommodate. John and team are attentive to your concerns, on-time with their project execution, transparent in expectations and costs, and also they are very nice people which makes it very pleasant to work with them. I plan to continue to use the team for my future home projects.

John Petsco and his fabulous team at Long Island Creative Contracting (LICC) completed an almost gut renovation of the interior of our new home (3,400 SF plus 1,400 SF finished basement). The project included a completely redesigned kitchen and master bath, a more open plan living area, replacement of our main living room wall with glass including 10 foot high doors that open 16 feet wide, a brand new large deck including a glass roofed patio that can be automatically screened in, stainless cable stairs, additional and enlarged windows, new molding, baseboard and doors (interior and exterior), paneling, redesigned fireplace, custom closets, painting, floor refinishing and a WHOLE lot more. Despite the magnitude of the project, LICC finished the majority of the work in 5 months so we were able to move back in in time for Memorial Day while they worked through the summer to finish the custom outdoor work. As most people do, we interviewed several contractors before choosing John. What sold us was his creative vision and ability to instantly tackle a couple of specific problem areas that the other bidding contractors and even architects were not able to. Over time, this vision became known as “magic” because every time a challenge presented itself, John would mull it over and come back a few hours later with the perfect solution. A second selling point was his extremely detailed proposal that broke out all the costs. There were several change orders along the way but those stemmed from modifications to the initial proposal or selection of more expensive materials. As people invariably do, I spent more than I initially planned to but not due to upcharges. John was actually pretty good at keeping me in check when he felt that additional spending would not add value. Unlike many of my friends’ experiences during renovations, it was a real pleasure working with John and his team. We worked on the design together and he always let me know if something wouldn’t fit with the overall scheme. Similarly, he listened well and was very patient. If I wanted something different than his initial suggestion, he researched it and made it happen. His team, led by his foreman Rich Eberhardt, worked tirelessly, including many weekends and whenever there were setbacks or delays, they took it in stride. Rich’s attention to detail mirrored John’s and they never considered anything complete until it was perfect and I was happy with it. Given the scope of the renovation, there were various subs and they were all closely supervised by John and Rich. The backbone of the operation, Jessica Nutter, John’s office manager, is a master of organisation. In addition to being able to track almost anything down, she worked very efficiently with the town and got all our permits and inspections without delay. Needless to say, I love my new home and would recommend Long Island Creative for any project wholeheartedly.

The Long Island Creative Contracting team were professional, thorough, neat and respectful. They made a complete kitchen renovation effortless. John walked us threw every step of the way explaining every detail leaving no stone unturned. They completed the job in the time frame discussed. This is the 2nd time we used John and his team for work. This time around it was a full kitchen renovation. From start to finish, it was a very easy process. Whether we were dealing with John, his crew or the kitchen designer it was a pain free experience. I have heard horror stories of people who have had kitchen renovations from extended timelines to unexpected price increases, add ones, etc... We had absolutely none of that with LICC. We decided to change counter tops midstream (totally self inflicted) and he kept to his timeline. Everything was done to our expectations, and any of the little changes we wanted (an extra pendant light over the island, extra outlet, etc.) John did for us with no up charge or questions. The final product was beyond our expectations. His crews are neat, clean and courteous and never left a mess at the end of the day. I highly recommend LICC --- thanks again John!

Home improvements are tough to handle. The contractor hired is the key. John and his crew were professional and and did what they said would be done. Ours was a bathroom remodel that included the addition of a window where none had existed previously. The window looks like it was always there, both on the inside and the exterior. All work was done as discussed and the job was completed in the time frame given. There were two minor things that were met with an openness to satisfy, resolved and no stress was expended! Will be hiring them again for future improvements!

John and his team removed my old carpeting and ceramic tile floors, and installed new wood floors and new ceramic tile. The work was completed on time, and after it was completed, you would never have known that work was recently done. Anything I wanted changed was done so almost immediately. The finished product - floors, tile, moldings - was perfect. We couldn't have hoped for a more professional job or for more polite and professional workers. I can highly recommend John and his LICC crew for affordable and professional work.

We asked for a complete kitchen remodel. He suggested new flooring and ceiling paint. It works. 'Had to charge us extra for rodent damage. 'Added a new outdoor hose faucet with quick release (prevents freezing), and fully vented under-counter microwave. He handled the whole job start to finish promptly and efficiently in only 2-1/2 weeks, always keeping us informed. We are blessed and ecstatic with our new kitchen.
