Our first project with Lord & Lady was to fix a leak in tub and the ceiling below, from there we have had master bath remodeled, stone facing on foundation, putting in a custom made shed, fixing a crack in basement floor that was seeping, adding a room, easement and bathroom in basement, remodeling guest bath, reconfiguring kitchen and new hardwood flooring throughout the main floor. Now our home is beautiful and we love living here.

During our "Big Storm" in late summer of 2015, 3 very large trees destroyed 1/2 of my attached garage.Having dealt with "nightmare" contractors in the past, I dreaded the repair process! I am so grateful I hired Lord & Lady..Thomas and Laura took a stressful experience and made it easy and even pleasant! Not only was the garage repaired in a timely manner, but, Laura patiently explained the process every step of the way. The garage is Beautiful and was expertly tied in to the undamaged siding. The roof was seamlessly repaired and Thomas went out of his way to disrupt our normal household functioning as little as possible.The job site was left spotlessly clean! It was such a pleasure to work with both Laura and Thomas. They far exceeded my expectations and if I need a contractor for anything in the future I will definatly call them.

Lord and Lady Construction handled all the details of my kitchen add-on to my home - they designed addition to tie in with my current home, they custom designed and built the cabinets, and they custom designed and made the concrete countertops. They were in constant communication with me before and during the project. They handled all aspects of the job with professionalism. Any issue that came up due to the addition to the 40 year old home they called me immediately and they already had solutions ready to go to keep the project moving forward (we had to add more HVAC and support beams). They were diligent about staying within the budget.I will definitely call them again when I have more work in my home that needs to be done.

Laura and Thomas were an amazing team for both design ideas and quality execution. They advised from an initial inspection before we bought our home. Throughout the process, they provided beautiful renderings of our design options that Laura provided many ideas for, both for beauty and for cost savings. She was also really intuitive about my taste when making these offerings. My house feels like home, thanks to them. The quality of the work reflects their integrity and pride they take in their work. They do not cut corners but instead help you find interesting ideas that can help save money but still look expensive! They will be truthful in their initial estimates, so there are no surprises at the end of a project. They let you know right away if they find any additional issues during the process, and work to help you solve potential problems as they arise. They are very responsive to any questions you have along the way. I can't say enough to recommend their company!

Thomas does amazing, quality work. Great communication. They work with you to fit your budget and fit the vision. I have had Thomas and Laura do several jobs, including a full bathroom remodel (it was just an unfinished room before), small jobs like replacing lights and doors, and built my handicapped accessible ramp. Couldn't be happier!

We've used Lord & Lady Construction for a few other jobs in the past so were familiar with the work. This job took a bit longer than expected due to interruptions from other concurrent jobs. The work, however, was quite nice, within the estimate, and we're happy with the outcome. They are responsive and pleasant to work with. We would use them again.

We have worked with Laura and Thomas Cavendish on a number of projects. Custom made Built-ins for our great room, Custom made indoor columns, outdoor stonework, painting, and a new garage. We have been so happy with Thomas' work that we don't even call anyone else for an estimate. We know we can count on Thomas and Laura to work with us within our budget. Their estimate is always very professional, and they really take ownership of their work. If there is a problem, they will fix it. The actual dates of the work span from 2011 - 2014. We hired Lord & Lady Construction to build us a new deck, railing, and two short staircases, which involved first dismantling and disposing of the old deck. In addition, Thomas Cavendish put in two retaining walls around some of our flower beds. The arrangement was professional, the work done impeccable, and delivered in a timely manner.

Love working with Thomas and Laura. The best estimates I have ever seen! Everything was very professional and the end product was exactly what I wanted. I am ready for them to do my next project.
