Maison Construction and Renovations

The estimate was reasonable. The project was completed on time. They were easy to deal with, came on time, cleaned up any mess and were professional at all times! My bathroom is beautiful and functional for a handicapped person! The ramp constructed in my garage is a life saver!

Absolutely 5 stars for Maison Construction. Ken & his crew helped us achieve our renovation goals with high-quality work and craftsmanship. The project included adding a new wall and doorway to create a new office space and mudroom. We had a fan relocated, new lighting installed, and electrical outlets added. The entire downstairs flooring was replaced with LVP (Lifeproof - highly recommend) and we had 2 columns removed in the living room to create a more open feel. The entire project - framing, drywall installation, column removal, electrical work, and flooring installation - was completed within 2-3 weeks. I was really impressed with the initial assessment when Ken came to the house. He paid attention to the details that I mentioned during the walk through, and provided a very reasonably priced quote. He and his team had great communication throughout the project, answered all questions that I had and made sure to keep everything transparent, which I really appreciated. Ultimately, I decided to choose Maison Construction for this project because of the first impression I had, the quote provided, and the timeline that was outlined. I know things can always come up during projects, but Ken's team kept to the timeline that was laid out. It's been over 2 months since the project was completed - I am now working in my new office, and the space has really turned into exactly what I had envisioned before any work had been done. I am grateful that I chose Maison for this project and would recommend them to anyone looking for a home renovation. Will 100% be reaching back out for some other planned projects in the future!

Ken is a real pleasure to work with. He has a calm and steady demeanor that I have to assume comes from the confidence he has in himself and his team. The work was done well and in good time and Ken responded promptly to any and all questions and comments. I already am planning another project and Maison Construction is at the top of my list.

Maison Construction recently finished our primary suite and laundry room addition. We are so pleased with the final result! From design to applying for permits and through the whole construction process, everyone at Maison was responsive and easy to work with. The construction itself is well done with attention to detail, and we will definitely use Maison for any future projects!

I had a few projects recently done by Maison, and I was very impressed with everything. My daughter had used them for some work at her home and she was also very pleased. I had the interior of my house painted, a rail on the front porch retrofitted to accommodate a ramp for my dog, and they put together the ramp that I had ordered. There were lots of "moving parts" for the work at my home and everything was communicated clearly and done to perfection. The employees were all very professional and pleasant, and they paid attention to all of the details. The price of the completed projects was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation recommending Maison for a variety of projects, and will use them again myself.

They did a masterful job on converting our garage into a bedroom. They are great!!! Exceptional service and attention to detail was great.

Working with Maison was better than we could have imagined. My husband and I usually do most home projects on our own since we have heard horror stories about working with contractors. But our project involved creating an opening and stairs into the garage from the main house to the unfinished space above our garage. This was not something we could do ourselves not with juggling work and kids. Originally, the space above the garage could only be accessed by deck stairs outside. This was not ideal for us. We have three boys and didn't want them to have to go outside to get to this room. We wanted to create a recreation room for this space, a place for our family to hang out. We had multiple area contractors come to give us a quote. Most of them didn't want to tackle doing the stairs. They offered to finish the room but not do the stairs. Either we wouldn't hear back from them or they gave us quotes that were enough to build a brand new house. We had given up hope on finding a contractor so we decided just to contract somebody to do the stairs and we would do the rest ourselves. Initially, we were asking Ken for a quote just for the stairs. But he wanted to do the whole job. Our first impression of Ken was that he was a good guy so we took a leap of faith because we had become very skeptical of all contractors at that point. Maison pleasantly surprised us. Their work was ahead of schedule and meticulous. Ken and his crew were professional and a pleasure to work with. They exceeded our expectations. They were mindful to our work and family schedule. We would not hesitate to use them again. We recommend them for any home project you may have.

We had an amazing experience with Maison! I have heard horror stories of working with contractors but Ken was incredibly communicative, timely, and a pleasure to work with! He was not only responsive to questions, but was proactive in giving us information and timelines. He was very sensitive to costs and was upfront about any unexpected changes. Maison and the subcontractors also always showed up when they said they would. The project was completed within the timeline he anticipated, and we have an absolutely beautiful kitchen. Ken did a great job on our kitchen complete gut and remodel. From start to finish his attention to detail, problem solving, and work product was top notch. He was always available to answer our questions and kept us informed all throughout the project. I highly recommend.

Ken and team just did a full rebuild of the porch of our 1925 home. The proposal process was great, and crystal clear, with good options which showed he listened to our needs. Ken gave us updates throughout the process via text, sending me photos when he needed my input. The guys on his team were professional and on time every morning, and did a few extras just 'cause it made it better. Once the old platform was removed, we discovered that the frame had been "creatively" repaired in the past and needed to be rebuilt. The additional work was transparently priced, done quickly, and very sturdy. The final product is beautiful and will last a life time. And it was done on schedule.

Contracted to add two bedrooms to a basement. Included demo, all framing, drywall, electrical, replacing/redesigning windows etc... Job was completed ahead of schedule and on budget. Crew was very professional and responsive to questions. Would recommend without hesitation.

We are very pleased with the job Maison did for us. They were easy to work with, flexible and accommodating. Nice people. Great new bathroom! We would definitely use them again.
