MAKM Construction LLC

We hired Michael j Monday owner & CEO of Makm Construction Llc ("MAKM") general contractor # CGC1524909 to apply for a permit in Dunedin and complete our second bathroom and paid a large deposit for the work to be done October 26th 2021, after waiting 5 weeks. Some materials were delivered to our carport and a subcontractor "Jerome" appeared by himself and later had a helper . We visited the building dept and no permit had been applied for, we were very concerned, plumbing work was being done, electrical was being moved, subfloor was being put in. Our call Dec 6 2021 to MAKM was yes my sub is licensed, we stopped work Dec 12 2021 and said no more work would be done until the rough in work has been inspected , (which wouldn't happen because there was no permit) and proof that the sub and worker were licensed. On Dec 13th 2021 we were terminated by a lawyer letter and an email from MAKM that he was not well any longer and would send a small portion of the deposit back to us within 21 days. Lou Scheuermann

I don’t usually write reviews but feel I need to for this company. Mr Monday returned my call within 2 hours of me leaving a message inquiring about remodeling my kitchen & master bathroom. He set up a meeting to come to see my home and arrived in crutches. I learned he’s still recovering from a broken tibia that required surgery. As a business owner myself I understand his work ethics “Business must go on”. He gave me a fair quote and explained the process, answered all my questions, and gave me a time frame of how long the job will take. His crew arrived 2 days later and began the kitchen remodeling. Mr Monday is very professional and has a great crew of workers that take pride in their work. I highly recommend his company for remodeling, painting, demolition, floors pretty much all home upgrades. Last thing, I had the pleasure of meeting his wife who drove him to our app’t and waited until we were finished. She had just completed a nursing overnight shift but still helped her husband to continue to provide a quality service. Stay safe Mrs Monday and to all Floridians.

We recently had MAKM Construction complete a complete master bathroom and bedroom renovation I can’t tell you how happy we are this is a family owned business that takes great pride in what they offer from concept into design our finish space was so easy with their process. We met several times to plan out what we wanted the team and Michael himself was great working with. Working off of our agreed-upon budget each at a price range for us. You can stay within that or go above it’s your budget Michaelson then we had a kick off meeting Where he introduced us to the Carpenter and his workers that were going to be on this project and it was all phenomenal from that point forward worth every penny spent on the renovation of my bedroom and bathroom.
