Matt White, Neil Kelly Company

This is the second project that Neil Kelly has completed for us. Matt White was in charge of both and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our '70s style kitchen was transformed into a modern, functional, and inviting new room. Aside from the obvious satisfaction with the completed project (new lighting, cabinets, appliances, flooring, sink, etc.), we are amazed with the level of detail that Matt puts into the planning of his projects. He takes our input, makes his own suggestions, gathers his team members and comes up with a plan. The Neil Kelly crew is top notch. Not just their skill levels, but extremely courteous and professional. Again, we are completely satisfied with our latest project and would not hesitate to recommend Neil Kelly Company and specifically Matt White for anyone's future home projects.

Can't say enough about Matt and his team. Professional is too understated. Our Kitchen and living room remodel was done with white glove treatment. No job is too big or too small and comes with a smile!

Matt and company did a kitchen update for me. Did a great job with the color and materials choices. They were very good at managing the schedule and keeping the kitchen functional for as long as possible during the job. Very attentive to my questions and the small details. Loved the kitchen when it was done.

We have been fortunate to use Neil Kelly Company and specifically Matt White on 5 separate remodel projects since 2008. The total cost of all the projects were in excess of $270,000.00. This was money well spent !!! I believe the fact that over the years, we continue to rely on Matt attests to his professionalism, reliability, dependability, honesty and helpful innovative suggestions.. We believe that Matt has surrounded himself with a staff that exhibits the same qualities as him. The soundness and quality of all of his artisans who have worked on our projects the past 8 years has been a real comfort. In my estimation, that is a rare emotion to experience when a major remodel is going on all around you. Matt and the whole Neil Kelly team did an awesome job for us redesigning our kitchen almost three years ago. Matt worked with us very well in bringing our kitchen out of the 60's and designed a much more pleasing space. All the work was scheduled very nicely and it all seemed to flow very well.....great job!

Matt was a true professional and extremely pleasant to work with. He was timely in returning my calls and emails, and very thorough in getting buy-in from me on all decisions before they started work. I hired Matt in the Fall of 2015 to pour a concrete staircase. All the sub-contractors he chose for the job were really experienced and pleasant to work with as well. They even asked us if we had rocks or designs we wanted to add to the concrete. We were able to add some special stones picked up from our travels to the main landing, and it really personalized the work. I would highly recommend Matt and Neil Kelly. Worth every penny.

Matt and his assistant Stephanie designed a full kitchen remodel for my small 1961 ranch house kitchen. I am extremely satisfied with all phases of the project. In planning, they were efficient, communicative, and on time. They really seemed to listen well to my input. I was pleased with their knowledge of materials, appliances, and storage options for kitchens. The tradesmen they used were all excellent. When small problems arose, they were quickly righted. I love my new kitchen and I highly recommend them.

The Neil Kelly team, led by Matt White, exceeded all of our very high expectations in the whole-house remodel of a home we purchased from an estate. While basically a sound house and property, the home was vacant for a year prior to our purchase. Additionally, it needed all new roofing, siding and interior demo to meet our designs. Our singular goal was to find a contractor who would "handle it all". We sought a highly professional team, with experienced crew and lead staff, to take our vision and make it happen, on time and on budget. Neil Kelly did that without seeming to even breathe very hard. Certainly there were multiple challenges, but Matt's team took care of them without raising our stress levels any more than such a project already commands. Matt's team was great at communication--perhaps our biggest requirement. Their processes were clear to us--laypeople in every sense of the word--while their tradespeople were professional and always on task. Our new home is a gem. We marvel at it every day. We consider ourselves fortunate that we selected such a great organization to guide us when we needed guiding, to listen to us when we needed explaining, and to meet our dreams when we needed dreaming. We were so satisfied that after the job we through Neil Kelly and the tradespeople a party. There is no doubt we would recommend NK to anyone in need of professional contracting services.

From our first meeting Matt was very professional and was extremely knowledgable of products. He was very easy to communicate with and was always on time. He also was very good at understanding what I wanted in my kitchen. I would recommend him and Neil Kelly if someone were to ask.

We have a 1970's home in need of a full remodel. Our budget did not allow a full remodel, we were having trouble deciding on which part of the house to focus on. Matt helped us to design the remodel by dividing the whole house into 3 different projects. Matt showed us what each project would look like and work on a feasibility budget for each area. Matt meet with us over the month and talked through our life style to help us decide which project would enhance our home and our life style. Matt was very professional and sensitive to our budget constraints. We decide on an outside patio, living area. This could have been a regular covered patio but his vision and attention to details helped to create a functional and beautiful space that has become an extension of our living space. Matt kept us informed through the entire project, all timelines were met and the project came in under budget. When we are ready to tackle our next project we will definitely call Matt to guide us through our remodel.

Before deciding on a kitchen remodel we attended a seminar presented by Matt White. It was so well presented that we were immediately inspired to have a design consultation. Matt and his design associate came out and discussed our desires for the kitchen and made some suggestions from their inspection. We were impressed by how they honed in on our desires and authorized him to prepare three conceptual plans and price ranges for a remodel. After many more meetings and decisions on materials and patterns, a timeline and final budget were agreed to. Work proceeded on time with miminal disruptions to our daily routine. We were impressed by the workmanship and courtesy of the Neil Kelly crew and sub-contractors. Our questions and concerns were always responded to quickly and professionally, and settled to our satisfaction. The project came in on time and budget! We were thrilled with the end result of our kitchen remodel and have recommended Matt White and Neil Kelly to friends and neighbors. We even had a open house to let them visit and invited Matt to respond to questions we may not have able to answer. We were especially impressed with the professionalism of Matt and his team. Everything was handled with expertise and timeliness. One of our major reasons for selecting Neil Kelly was the design expertise of Matt White. This was invaluable for us in this project. Matt has photos of our project that he could share with Houzz. Obviously, we highly recommend Matt and his team.

We highly recommend Neil Kelly, Eugene for any remodel or building project. The professionalism and follow through by the contractors has been impressive, to say the least. We are new to this type of thing and we are so happy with our remodel! The Neil Kelly designers, Matt White and Stefanie Hunt, project manager, Mike Dotson, contractors and builders did a fantastic job making our kitchen, dining room, and living room into an AMAZING great room! The carpenters, especially Wheylin Neihus, have transformed our dark dingy kitchen into a bright happy place that is a pleasure to cook in . . . heck, just to stand there and gaze at the beautiful space. We love every design feature, from the beautiful and high quality cabinetry to the amazing tile work.
