My husband and I hired Maya Construction earlier this year for a full kitchen, entryway and office remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! Udi and Ofer were fantastic to work with—they were organized, communicative, and provided thoughtful guidance throughout the entire process. From the beginning they were open and honest, taking the time to walk through different options and ensure we understood all the unknowns going in. Their transparency during the estimate process made us feel confident in their work and decisions. What really stood out was their flexibility and willingness to collaborate. We faced a few unexpected challenges along the way, but they were always ready with creative solutions that allowed us to keep the project on track without compromising the overall design and vision. They also were willing to let us purchase our own materials, and offered to review our selections and provide helpful advice along the way. Their crew was professional, courteous, and committed to high-quality craftsmanship. The foreman, Stan, was incredibly knowledgeable and came up with a configuration for our HVAC that eliminated the need for a soffit (which would’ve been the easiest solution but one I really didn’t want!). Another crew member, Wesley’s, installation of marble checkerboard tile in our foyer is flawless. The finished rooms are beautiful and the work exceeds our expectations! We’re so pleased with the outcome that we’re ready to hire them again for a bathroom remodel. If you're looking for skilled, trustworthy contractors, I highly recommend Maya Construction!

We had a fantastic experience with Udi Yeger and Ofer Gliksman at Maya Construction. They are meticulous, thorough, thoughtful, and impeccable in their work. Udi was exacting in creating a proposal to renovate our primary bathroom, so there were absolutely no surprises in terms of cost, timing, or the work that would be done. Udi was at our house every single day to check on progress and talk us through all decisions that needed to be made. Maya’s communication was outstanding, and the team responded immediately to all questions with patience and expertise. As for the finished product, our bathroom looks AMAZING. The Maya team’s attention to detail is phenomenal. Our vanity top installation was complicated, and it turned out flawless. Ofer and his team did a major repair/rebuild of our home this year and it was overall a great experience. Ofer was in a constant contact with us and his team made good progress through the entire duration. Ofer also worked with our insurance very closely and provided a high level of support that we really needed. We would work with Maya, Ofer, and this team again for any future work.

Last winter, we reached out to Udi at Maya Construction Group because we were interested in redoing our master bathroom, installing a cabinet in the basement, and updating our backsplash in our kitchen. Udi truly made the experience easy. After gathering initial information about the project on the phone, he visited our place to take measurements and talk through what we wanted. He walked us through the process from start to finish and gave us an overview of the timeline. He explained that we would be buying most of the materials (other than paint, grout, etc.) and gave us recommendations on where to go to buy them. He gave me specific instructions on dimensions and limitations on items I should get. One of the things that I appreciated most about the process was that Udi not only made sure that his company was on track to meet deadlines, he was checking in with me from time to time to make sure I was ordering items and making decisions in a timely manner. I was able to ship items to his warehouse, and he even picked up a few items for me in town. He checked all of the items to make sure they were in good shape, and once we had everything, they started on the project. The project basically took three weeks, with a few minor finishing touches the fourth week. Udi or his partner showed up every single day to make sure everything was on track. The guys that work with Udi on his team are fantastic - I could tell, in particular, that the tiler was precise in his installation. There were also a few items I bought that didn't work out (no fault of Maya Construction), and Udi was quick to give me suggestions on replacement items. Once the project was over, Udi checked in with us several times to confirm there were no further issues or items we needed from him. Throughout the process, Udi and his entire team were respectful, communicative, friendly, and timely. I felt absolutely no stress at any point in the project. I also believe the price was reasonable, in light of the high quality services they provide. I truly do not have a single negative thing to say about this company; I highly recommend Maya Construction!

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Maya construction on our bathroom remodel and bedroom renovation. Udi, Ofer, and the whole team were fantastic thoughout the duration of our project. They were consistently on-time, extremely respectful, honest, and completed the work quickly. The bathroom they finished was absolutely stunning, making a small bathroom feeling much larger than it is and with impeccable tile-work. Our bedroom renovation was a somewhat unusual project (a kitchen un-installation) and they handled it extremely well. We are thrilled by the end result for both. I had worked with Udi and team back in 2018 for a major remodel. A month ago I had an issue with the cabinet that stores my garbage bin. I immediately called to see what could be done. I had expected to pay for a replacement and installation costs. I called and within 24 hours I had answers. Maya construction team called the cabinet manufacturer and started the ball rolling. I received an initial call explaining the process and a time line as to when I would have an answer. Udi was in constant contact with me through the whole project. The great news was that the cabinet and the garbage bin/track were all covered under warranty. Udi came personally to install the new unit! which ended up being an upgrade to what I originally had. I couldn't have asked for more and would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and talented contractor! On a final note, even after 5 years - Udi remembered me and my project it was like it was yesterday! Amazing customer service!!!

We found Planet Cabinets / Maya Construction because of their great reviews, and we're so glad we did! From the first consultation through final screw on the wine fridge door, Roni and Udi and Ofer were an intelligent and flexible team who designed and built our absolute dream kitchen. Roni is half of the husband-wife team at Planet Cabinets, and she does all design work to give you a crystal-clear sense of what you're ordering. She hands off to Udi who runs Maya Construction with his partner Ofer, and they price out any construction work you need on top of cabinet installation. Our process was highly iterative because I'm very particular and wanted a lot of customization including unique cabinet sizes and Rev-A-Shelf inserts throughout. Once everything was perfect, the work started with some flooring and HVAC subcontractors from Udi's "rolodex" who did great work. Then came the Maya crew who were punctual, extremely conscientious about tidiness beyond the work area, friendly, and very capable. If I won the lottery and could afford bespoke cabinetry in my new mansion on Burling Street, I'd still return to Planet Cabinets. The "semi-custom" manufacturer that Roni and Udi recommended is higher quality than two very expensive custom built-ins that I previously sourced for my family room and entryway. Drive past Home Depot and work with Planet Cabinets, it's a no regrets move!

Maya recently completed a total renovation of my 1940's Chicago georgian bathroom. Their workmanship was excellent. They put in long hours to get it finished for me quickly, since it's the only shower in the house. At every step of the process, Udi communicated well and made sure that I was happy. It turned out beautiful, and the price was reasonable. What more could you ask for?

My partner and I recently had our kitchen remodeled by Maya Construction and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not only is our new kitchen gorgeous, meeting all of our requested upgrades and then some. But Maya Construction made it easy throughout with quick and efficient communication, timely work and a friendly crew that was always willing to answer any questions that we had. They also provided many great suggestions for where to find good appliances, backsplash tiles, faucets and other items that we asked for them to install during the remodel. Ofer and Jack were fantastic and I always felt like they were straight shooters with information, explaining everything in an easily digestible way for someone who is not as familiar with the ins and outs of the construction industry, and not trying to upsell me along the way. And to top it all off, they got the work done much quicker than originally expected, which was a relief around the holidays. If you're looking to get remodeling work done in your home, I would highly recommend Maya Construction. We did a lot of research and spoke to a few different contractors before making our decision to go with them, and they did not disappoint!
