Our home and neighborhood is a dream come true. Every time we drive through the neighborhood we try to imagine it with a fresh pair of eyes and realize how magical of a place we live in. We have always said our home found us and we have loved living here for the past 6 years. Thank you to the entire McCaleb team for making our move back to Oklahoma the best decision we ever made.

I closed on a new McCaleb home on March 31st. My frameless shower in my master bathroom wasn’t built correctly and floods my bathroom when I shower. It still hasn’t been repaired. I also have several other items that were supposed to be fixed, but still haven’t been repaired. For example, I’m missing a cabinet door, a regular drawer and a custom silverware drawer that was paid for as an upgrade but not installed. My back door was originally installed opening backwards. They replaced it at the last minute with an unpainted beat up looking door and just left it that way. It looks terrible!

We have recently joined the McCsleb homeowner group. We bought a beautiful home Dec 2016 and have been so pleased with our purchase. The homes are an amazing style with attention to detail. The whole McCaleb team and builders have been responsive to every need. The layout of these homes makes one feel the size is twice the actual square footage! It is without hesitation I would recommend a McCaleb home!!

When we first looked at McCaleb Homes, we had already ruled out the idea of living in Edmond, OK. The neighborhood was beautiful, and we loved everything about the houses & price point, but we were still skeptical about living in the 'burbs. We don't wear khaki pants or shirts with collars and immediately thought we'd be total outcasts in a neighborhood like Town Square. After stepping into the model home & meeting with Caleb himself as well as Robin, the sweetest person ever who genuinely cares about everyone she meets, our opinions started to sway. Fast forward a few weeks, and we'd scoured every builder's site within a 100 mile radius of Oklahoma City. The one company we kept going back to was McCaleb Homes. They had everything we were looking for - historic looking homes that were brand new with the option to customize every single detail about our home. Everything from the light fixtures to the color of each door was customizable, which seemed out of reach for the pricing. With family already living in Oklahoma, we asked around to see if any of their friends were familiar with this builder, and everyone we talked to gave raving reviews about Caleb & his team. You can tell he loves what he does for a living and takes pride in his work (his blue truck can be spotted from a mile away as it rounds the neighborhood after hours & on the weekends). We've been in our home for almost 9 months now and couldn't be happier. Caleb, Terri, Kylie, & Robin take the time out of their day to stop by and chat on a regular basis to see how we're doing in our new house. Our neighbors aren't the stereotypical Edmonites, either. Everyone has been so friendly & looks out for one another. My only complaint is the number of people we see creeping on our house to take pictures, because it's so beautiful. ;)

I have to say I love my home! McCaleb homes are lovely. They were very flexible with me in selecting a home that was already built. I was very skeptical about the first home I selected that had cracks in the foundation in EVERY SINGLE room. So, they let me trade for another home. Unfortunately, even in the home I selected, my foundation sunk and I needed peers placed in, but this company stood by their guarantees and got me fixed up! Darcy, Aaron, and Terri McCaleb were wonderful. I'm into year three and still waiting for warranty work to be done. I've got serious cracks in my driveway and chunks that break off like chalk. They assured me it would be fixed and I'm still waiting. The most frustrating thing is that my outside water spigots have been unusable ( horribly bent) from the beginning, but they want to argue with me that I never mentioned it, but I did. All in all, I very happy with my home. It's gorgeous!

What a wonderful experience we had building with McCaleb homes. We appreciated the professional opinion from the construction manager, builder and interior designer all while feeling very comfortable sharing our wants and desires for our home. Everything was very streamlined and well communicated. We chose the McCaleb team as our builder because of the quality and design of their homes - they set the standard! The thing we love most about McCaleb homes is the unique streetscape they provide in each neighborhood. With different styles of home on each street, the neighborhood has so much character rather than looking "cookie cutter." We love the historical influence our new construction home has and are so excited to make memories in this tight-knit community.

I have such mixed emotions regarding McCaleb Homes. Let me preface that I absolutely love the style of our home and love our neighborhood. It will be 5 years in October that we have lived in our house, and unfortunately each year we find something else that we need to fix and not the usual maintenance type things. Within the first year of living here we found out that our sprinkler system on 2 sides of our home was on the neighboring properties! McCaleb washed his hands of the whole problem and told us to refer to the landscaper, who was out of business by that time. Along with that, because they did a lousy job grading (?) our driveway, every time it rained water accumulated at the end of our driveway creating a stagnant mosquito infested pool. So we ended up having french drains installed and sprinkler lines moved. All of the shrubbery originally planted has died and been replaced. This week we are currently repainting all of our cabinetry due to poor workmanship...NONE of the cabinets in our house were primed before painted!! So, because of cutting corners or cheap labor I am now having to pay out the ears to have things re-done. Our next project is having our marble counters (which were an upgrade, of course!!) refinished because they apparently were not properly sealed and etch at so much as a drop of water. So far most problems have been fixable, but some are permanent. One of my husbands biggest irritations is that he literally has to park his truck against the wall of the garage in order for it to fit end to end. There isn't so much as half an inch between his bumper and the garage door...no exaggeration!! And I could type another paragraph devoted to just how much he hates our master bath and the shower that he can barely fit into! Many of these problems have been minor, but quite frankly wouldn't have been an issue if things were done correctly the first time. As a first time home builder I just didn't know good quality from bad unless it was blatantly obvious, and McCaleb himself assured us that he used the best...and for the record, my husband and I made a point to make daily visits to assess what was going on. We had a fairly good building experience. McCaleb was charming and helpful, although he will upsell as much as possible at a very upgraded price!! Some of the considered "upgrades" are absolutely ridiculous. I understand this is normal practice, however, and we chose to buy a lot of things ourselves to save money. At times he became defensive if we discussed anything that we felt needed to be changed or done better. We went round and round about building up/leveling one side of our lot. In hindsight we should have demanded something better than what he provided ( a heck of a lot of dirt) as now we fear with settling, earthquakes, etc our foundation is starting to become affected, as evidenced by pretty substantial cracks in our front porch. I found that the communication between the crews and the designer/construction manager was poor. I received almost daily phone calls asking about every paint, tile, flooring, counter selection I had made, which made me think the designer flat out lost our spec sheet. Not to mention that we had 4 different construction managers from start to end of building which was unusual. Everyone was professional throughout the process. The designer was ok. Nice, very quiet, not much input as far as design suggestions. Most of our meetings I walked away feeling like it was wasted time though. I felt like, at the time, some of the product selections offered were a bit dated even though their model homes reflected a more modern or transitional aesthetic, but I imagine those are design things that change year to year. We absolutely adored Jennifer their sales rep. From our first meeting I felt like she knew exactly what we wanted and really got the feel of the type of house we wanted to make a home. So warm and friendly, a true asset to McCaleb Homes. Not to mention she sold our old house in under 2 weeks which was incredible, but not surprising if you know her!! She was the best!! Also my engineer father was very impressed that the framing and outside construction were of exceptional quality and commented that it was better than his custom million+ home! Again, I love our house. Would we use McCaleb again? I don't know, maybe. Love the bungalow style and architecture of his houses, but I feel some of the inside workmanship is just not up to par for the price-point. I'm fearful that if we're having problems with small issues already, what bigger problems will present themselves in the future. I'm frustrated that almost 5 years later instead of spending my money on fun things for my home I'm using it to fix mistakes.

This is the 2nd house I've bought from McCaleb Homes. My first time dealing with them was so positive that when I needed to downsize, I knew I only wanted to work with them. Not only are McCaleb homes well-made with beautiful design features and energy-saving products, but their support staff and commitment to customer service is outstanding. They were extremely helpful and informative to a single mom trying to navigate buying a home on her own. And their customer service does not end once they give you the keys. They followed up on any issue that came up under the home owner's warranty in the first year without even raising an eyebrow. If I ever have to move again, it would only be to a McCaleb Homes property!

Great design, superb staff - responsive, professional most helpful in the selection process. Beautiful neighborhood with many current and future planned amenities. Great value and we absolutely love the setting. The McCaleb team is outstanding and sets a very high standard while delivering an exceptional product.

I worked with McCaleb Homes for a new build in Edmond's Town Square. The McCaleb system was clear, detailed and allowed me to make design decisions without wrecking the original outlined budget. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to answer questions and offer suggestions. I was apprehensive about the time and work it would take to do a new build, but had zero negative experiences and was amazed how easy the McCaleb system made each decision and phase. All said and done I love the house and feel I was able to get all design features I had hoped w/o going over original budget. Their team helped me add features I hadn't even thought of which are some of the best "extras" in the house.

I love my home! It's charm and details are more than I could have imagined. I wanted the designer to pick everything! She knew exactly what I liked and everything was perfect. We had an issue with the under the counter lights after we moved in and it was fixed the next day with a new replacement transformer.
