Robert Campbell of Millbrook and his team have been nothing but great for a project we are working on in Putnam. It has been a pleasure working with them and they have provided excellent service, response and overall a fantastic experience for our client and the success of the project. We are lucky to have found them and they have provided us with a successful experience with nothing but professionalism and clarity. Bob Campbell, one of the owners of Millbrook Cabinetry, has worked on two projects that I have done in western Connecticut, both as a sales representative and an installer of high performance windows and doors from Intus. For those who may not know, Intus is a company that has been certified by the Passive House Institute. The Millbrook showroom is good-looking, and they seem to have a very interesting array of cabinetry and interior finishes. I would recommend the firm highly as a representative of Intus windows and doors.

While there were many iterations necessary on the design due to the fact that the kitchen designer made some blunders, the carpenter was exceptional. The company made every effort to rectify and satisfy us. In the designers defense, he was new to kitchen design and we were his first clients. After all was said and done, though, we love our new kitchen. I guess there were a lot of road bumps along the way, but they were able to smooth them over. We would use this company again thanks to Ian, the carpenter. He is a true craftsman.

This is a family business run by Robert Campbell and his two sons. They take pride in their work, they know how to solve problems, they know how to stick to a budget, they keep you well-informed and are always available to talk to you. Bob served as general contractor on a job of renovating a large house we had purchased which needed quite a bit of work. We needed all new windows (61), an upgraded heating & air-conditioning system, an entirely new master bath shower, other new plumbing, a great deal of work in the kitchen and the very large basement, 3 new garage doors, plus all new doors in the house, re-done floors, etc. We would use Millbrook Cabinetry & Design again and wholeheartedly recommend them.

Our kitchen was in desperate need of renovation after twenty-five years of use by a family of six. Walking through the showroom of Millbrook Cabinetry and Design was a beautiful and fun experience and we immediately felt welcomed as we began dreaming of possibilities. We couldn’t believe how much had changed in kitchen design and wondered why we had waited so long. While we worried that having a company like Millbrook Cabinetry and Design renovate our kitchen would be far over our budget, they assured us they could deliver a beautiful kitchen within our means. Everyone there was patient as we took our time choosing the cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting and tiles and they were available to answer our lengthy questions. Throughout it all, they were respectful of our decisions, while offering their advice and expertise. A top priority of ours was to have a kitchen that was functional and easy to care for. They steered us towards products that were attractive while easy to maintain. We relied on their vision, and were happy we did, as we opened up the kitchen and family room and tied it together with beautiful wood flooring. The company willingly coordinated the timing with other professionals we had found to complete some of the work. Every professional working on the project was friendly, trustworthy, knowledgeable and talented. We could not be happier with the outcome. The proof was when our large family gathered around the holidays. There was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and ample counter space for multiple cooks and bakers. We look forward to showing it off to all of our friends and family. While we know that the updated kitchen has added to the worth of our house, we don’t want to move now!
