I have been wanting to remodel my house for years, but didn't feel up to the challenge of sharing my home with sub contractors. I recently had Montenegro homes come in and give me a plan and estimate.After speaking to Patt Morin and giving him my wish list, I felt I had found the right company. Patrick helped me design and build my dream retirement home from start to finish. He listened carefully to what we wanted and was able to envision, design and build a beautiful home customized to our lifestyle. Since we lived out of state, we were concerned that communication would be difficult but there was no need to fear. Patrick communicated often using phone and emails, sending ideas and suggestions to help us to envision his creativity. The home is gorgeous, with many unusual and creative touches. The workmanship is top of the line. When I had the blinds installed, the installer commented several times how perfectly square everything was, as if that was a rarity. Patrick takes great pride in his work and makes sure it conforms to your needs. The subcontractors he uses seem to be as dedicated to excellence as he is, and he seems to have a great relationship with them, working closely with them to ensure top quality.

My husband and I met Patrick at a home show. We had been wanting to do a kitchen/bath remodel for years but were overwhelmed with all the choices to make and had no idea where to start. Well, Patrick sure knew where to start. He came to our house, gave us a few ideas, listened to what we wanted and came back with an awesome plan. He was so helpful in choosing lighting and plumbing fixtures, paint colors, tile, cabinets, etc. He even took the time to go with us to help pick our our granite! Pat put my idea into a reality with our new barn door. The door hides my messy office nook. Currently Pat is making our dirt backyard into a place I want to be. He has stayed in our budget and is always communicative. Oh, and did I mention patience? I have changed my mind at least three times and Pat has always tolerated it and worked with us to make my crazy ideas come into a reality. After this, any idea I get I will be calling Pat.

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick Morin at a Home Show at Sun City Festival a little more than a year ago. What a fortuitous stop this was for us! We had been talking about maximizing the space in our over-large walk-in closet, but had no idea which direction to go. After a brief talk with Patrick, he asked if he could come to our home, view the space, hear our thoughts, and take some measurements. Within days he did exactly that and quickly devised a plan. With only a couple of changes, we accepted his proposal, which was beyond reasonable. Patrick started our project within a week, with the plan to finish it by week's end. We had to go away before he was finished, but we felt entirely confident in his trustworthiness and left him a key to the house to finish. When we returned, it was all completed and every bit as nicely done as we had expected. (In our absence, Patrick had to make a couple of on-site decisions, which we applauded. We felt sure this caused him a cost overrun, but he refused to take additional payment for the project.) Since that initial experience, we have had occasion to call Patrick again about a very small project, but it wasn't too small for him! He responded immediately and came the following day to discuss our needs. Within two more days he had returned and completed the project, much to our complete satisfaction. I hired Montenegro Homes & Development to put in a patio door, a back porch and a pergola over that back porch. I had a pretty good idea of what it would look like but was pleasantly surprised when they recommended some tweaks. I couldn't be happier with the work. It was all done on time, a very neat, clean job that was also thoroughly cleaned up afterwards and I've been enjoying it all since. The best part was they came in under my budget. Over the next few years I will be re-doing my kitchen and bathrooms. I'm already looking forward to seeing what Montenegro Homes will come up with!

We hired Pat and Montenegro Homes to remodel our kitchen, opening the wall to the living room and adding a french door out to the patio. We updated the flooring throughout as well. Pat's oversight kept the project on time and on budget. His subs are professional and absolutely wonderful to work with. Pat Morin has recently completed a master bath remodel that included custom cabinets, oversize shower, and freestanding copper tub. He also did a large backyard project with pergola, pavers, and an outdoor fireplace. His work is creative, of impeccable quality, was completed on schedule and on budget.
