Montgomery Remodeling and Restoration

We just completed our second remodel with Montgomery Remodeling and Restoration and love it! Having appreciated Mike and crew’s personal and professional expertise with an extensive bathroom remodel previously, there was no doubt who we wanted to remodel our kitchen. In each instance, Mike listened to what we wanted, made suggestions where needed and then put all the pieces together to make everything run smoothly, efficiently and easy for us. He was involved in the process from start to finish and worked to make our remodels flow so that our daily living was impacted as little as possible. The Montgomery Builders crew is fantastic…they are thoughtful, personable and obviously talented professionals. We appreciate quality work and are very particular about the finished look and details, and we were more than pleased during each of our remodel processes with EVERYTHING.

They were recommended by friends as a resource to handle the damage from last year's winter storms. I wish I had talked with Mike and Co. months earlier. They were familiar with how insurance and claims work, talked and met directly with adjusters and were always responsive. The communication was great and they did a fantastic job. The project manager was easy to talk with, courteous, and explained details of the job well. They started on time and finished when they said they would. I will hire them for my next job. Working with Mike Montgomery is fantastic. He brings dynamic projects to me to get some help with the design and to prepare drawings necessary to acquire a building permit. After that, Mike and his crews take over and do really fine work. He can do any type of project anywhere, from exclusive destination resort homes to farmhouse restorations to additions to standard 20th century homes. He is super professional and has years of knowledge to make his restorations look seamless with existing construction. As a designer, I would hire him to do work on my own home.

Montgomery Remodeling and Restoration followed through on the promises and commitments made in the bidding and finish process. The project timeline was drawn out longer that we had hoped, but it was a multi-phased project, and we were living in the house too! There were some difficulties with subs, but Mike made it work.

Absolutely fantastic work. The company is great the people are great. They showed up when they said they would. The workmanship was perfect. The impact of their presence was minimal. I can't say enough good things about them. Awesome and highly recommended.

Mike Montgomery and his crew have been great to work with on the many home repair and improvement projects they have done for me! They show up when they say they will and always call if they're going to be even a few minutes late. They are meticulous in the quality of their work and they clean up as they go to keep things clean in the work area. My wife and I took on an ambitious remodel of an old westside home last year and we hired Montgomery Builders to handle a very difficult carpentry project that was central to our remodel. The project was to take a low 7ft ceiling that was in half of our living/dining area and bring it up to match the vault and look of the rest of the ceilings in the house. In between the low ceiling and the roof was the old 1930s roof and framing. This old roof was inside our ceiling and holding up the new roof that was built over it in the 70's. Mike had a thorough understanding of the challenges and options and came up with a solution that worked as planned and that we love. His team had to demo the old ceiling, dismantle the old framing, support the roof, add footings and posts, and build the new exposed beam framing as they worked down the room. In addition Mikes solution removed other unnecessary posts and cleaned up the whole space. Montgomery is a true pro and a pleasure to work with.

We met Mike Montgomery through our realtor several years ago while in the process of purchasing an older home in need of updating and refurbishing. Montgomery Builders turned out to be the best thing ever. All the work we contracted for was done on time and on budget and the end result far exceeded our expectations. The original projects included: a complete gut and re-build of the existing kitchen, plus extensive electrical updates, lighting and flooring upgrades throughout the house. We have since used Montgomery Builders (Remodeling and Restoration) for a complete re-do of an en suite bathroom and a number of smaller jobs and each time we were highly satisfied.
