Jason's attention to detail, responsiveness, and professionalism are impressive. It makes a project manageable that would have otherwise been a source of endless stress. His patience is perhaps his best quality, putting up with my, let's call it, passionate curiosity, establishing a completely transparent work environment. Communication was excellent. Jason Bekebrede is a true professional with an ultra high commitment to excellence and customer relations. We hired Monticello as one of the recommended general contractors by our realtor. He was stellar in all aspects of his performance to the point that we are contracting with him for a 3rd project. The first project was to orchestrate and oversee, in our absence, a face lift for the interior and exterior of our recently purchased home. He was flawless in orchestration, oversight and communication of the project that spanned several weeks. All projects were completed to a high standard and on time. The subcontractors were highly responsive to our requests and Jason's oversight. Project #1 was completed on or below budget. Project #2 was to remedy a, recently discovered, long-standing water problem on an exterior wall. Once again, he was unparalleled, in responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail and getting it done "the first time, on time, and on budget." The repair was extensive and required wall reconstruction, roof repair and re-configuration and exterior stone removal and replacement. In all areas the work and supervision were flawless. Project #3 will involve 100% renovation of he kitchen, master bath, master closet, main bathroom. The planning process is stress-free and highly interactive. Jason is insightful, kind and considerate in all aspects of the process. On top of it all, he is 100% trustworthy. We completely trust Jason with the security of our home and know that even in our absence that our personal belongings are secure. Lastly, everywhere we go to look at products (i.e. appliances, tile, paint, fixtures, etc.) Jason is regarded as "one of the very best" to work with among the vendors. He is highly respected by the subcontractors and is consistent kind and thoughtful in the way he relates to everyone. We've owned 6 homes and have interacted with numerous contractors over 30+ years. Jason is the best we have ever worked with.

We have worked with Jason on several projects ranging in size from a bath remodel to whole home, new construction. Jason has impressed me with his professionalism and his attention to detail. He is conscience of his clients budget and gets them a great value for their money. Construction is a tricky business, with juggling many sub-contractors at one time, holding to tight schedules and making adjustments on the fly. I'm always impressed when a builder consistently holds to the schedule they set. I think it speaks about their organization abilities and respect they have for the clients who hire them. Designed and managed an extensive bathroom remodel. Floors (heated), doors (pocket and hinged), custom cabinets, marble counter tops, glass shower with digital plumbing, custom beveled mirrors and lighting. Jason stayed on budget despite us! Embraced every request without hesitation and the end product exceeded our expectations handily.

The Silo House. There was no comparison at last summer's Springfield parade of homes! Upon entering, this home clearly exuded the quality and creativity of the builder, Jason of Monticello Homes. I was awed at the craftsmanship that went into a home, built in and around a silo. I asked Jason about what was required to build this unique home. As he explained the "how" and "why", it was clear to me that he is passionate about his work. A winner all around!

We had / have the fortunate opportunity to work with Jason at Monticello homes in building our Art Studio and are currently working on building a guest house. I hired Jason Bekebrede of Monticello Homes last spring to do a complete kitchen remodel in my house. I am very happy with the workmanship and the design. I am having a terrific time cooking in the new space, it's such an efficient and beautiful space that I even enjoy cleaning it up. Jason was on schedule, on budget, respectful of my ideas, helpful and very easy to work with. He made sure his workers completed jobs on time, did a good job and left the job site clean. He was willing to meet me in town to help me select materials as well as giving me suggestions of where to look to find things either in town or on line. He also made great design suggestions.
