N & C Construction

We couldn’t be more happier with N&C Construction. They took a dark kitchen with wasted space and created a bright and functional area. All while being resourceful by keeping some of our existing countertops and appliances in order to meet our budget needs. They are exceptional at their craft and very easy to work with. What I loved the most is that they looked at our space and were able to make suggestions that we wouldn’t have dreamed of. We absolutely love our kitchen and can’t wait to use it! You will not regret using this local family owned business. They first finished our basement, now kitchen, and who knows what we will have them do next.

We recently had the pleasure of working with N & C during our master bathroom remodel. From the quoting stage of the project through to the end, Nelson answered all of our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. They kept the area as clean as possible by setting up drop cloths from the entrance to the project site. They set up a barrier to prevent as much dust as possible from entering the rest of the house and they cleaned up the work area at the end of every day. The materials they used during the project were definitely on the higher end, and working with the supplier during selection was quite enjoyable. The quality of work they provided exceeded our expectations! Nelson and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with and I can't recommend them enough. We will order a glass door at a later time and have it installed by others.

From the beginning when we started to think about remodeling our kitchen, we and no idea on how to start the process. When we first meet with Nelson, he gave us his suggestions and recommendations on how to add more room into our kitchen. After further discussion we went with his recommendations and the process began and it was flawless. His experience, workmanship and attention to details was off the chart and we made the best decision to choose N & C Constriction. Our kitchen was completed on time as promised and with no issues. We will continue to use N & C Construction for future home remodeling.

N & C Construction recently completed a kitchen renovation at our home and we could not be happier with the results. Thanks to Nelson’s ideas on a different layout we have more room than ever! They made the entire process painless as they communicated each step very well and they did amazing work. I work from home and the crew was always very respectful of that fact. I was so impressed with how cleaned up things were every day when they were done working. Workers even took off their work boots while cleaning up the floors as they left. In my opinion, you wont see many, if any, contractors taking that kind of time and care on the job. If you are needing work done in your home, this is the only place to call. We've had several experiences with contractors for roofing, decks, carpeting, you name it. Most were subpar and we dreaded the process of finding someone to remodel our kitchen. We spoke to a few companies who were totally over priced and obviously didn't want the job! Then I saw this company named N and C Construction. It was a family owned business right outside our neighborhood. The minute Nelson walked in our house "early" I knew our experience with contractors was about to change. He was honest and forthcoming. He told me why I would end up not liking what I had envisioned and actually provided alternative ideas. His ideas blew us away. Never in our wildest imaginations did we see our kitchen the way Nelson did. Some things we needed to sleep on but boy, were we glad we finally embraced his ideas! We went from this original drab kitchen from 1981 to something modern and timeless. He and his crew were here when they said and were all kind, courteous and professional. They respected our home and understood we had to live here while things were torn apart. Even when everything was torn out of the kitchen and it was just a shell, they hooked up the old stove just so we could cook!! They cleaned up everyday before calling it a day. The kitchen was completed just a few days ago and we feel like we lost a family member. We got so used to them being here, laughing and hearing stories of their lives. All I can say is you would never regret hiring N and C Construction for your next project. This company is phenomenal. We will definitely be calling them for our next project!

N & C Construction turned our poorly designed, cramped, and ordinary master bathroom into a work of art! The pictures do not do this bathroom justice. The shower is HUGE! There was never any debate as to which contractor we would use for this project after the amazing job N & C did on our deck & gazebo back in 2015. We are still receiving compliments over 6 years later! Back to the bathroom...the team at N & C did a stunning job. We couldn't have been more impressed with the work & the crew. The guys were personable, always on time, trustworthy, hard working, and always left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Thank you to everyone involved in pulling off this renovation. Not only would we highly recommend N & C, we will certainly be using them for future projects.

N and C Construction is a lovely family run business that recently completed my master bath renovation. I’m always hesitant with contractors because the stereotype is that they come in, make a mess, leave for extended periods of time, and don’t keep you in the loop. However, my experience with Nelson and Jessica was definitely not the stereotypical experience. First, communication is critical during any project and they were always immediately responsive to contacting us to answer questions or resolve any concerns we had along the way. We had to wait a while to start the job, but Jessica would regularly reach out to let us know how they were progressing and update us on the timing for the start of our job. Second, Nelson doesn’t start a job until all materials have been received. That helps tremendously in cutting down the time my house was in upheaval from the construction process because they don’t have to wait for something to arrive that might have been on backorder. Third, any construction project will come with a certain amount of dust and dirt from demolition, sawing, etc. Nelson and his employees were considerate about trying to keep the level of dust and dirt out of other areas of your home. He puts down floor protectors and covered my furniture in plastic to try to contain the dirt/dust from being tracked to other parts of my home. Finally, Nelson was very good at explaining what he was doing and why. He worked with us to understand our vision and provided good ideas for how we could make our space more functional. Overall, I would use them again for future projects!

From start to finish, these folks are top quality. Prior to the contacting them, I had been following them on FB for a time, to see the type of work they were doing. I was looking for a remodel of two bathrooms, one of which would be a complete gut. I had gotten recommendations from friends, but looked down the street one day and their trucks were parked in my neighbors driveway. I gave them a call and the process started. The whole project was completed one day short of three weeks in total. Significant contributing factors to this is that Nelson will not start a project until all the materials are in, and they show up on time and work all day every day. This may sound cliche, but anyone who has had a bad experience with a remodel has likely experienced the "here one day, gone for the next three weeks". Not these guys - even my neighbor commented on how they showed up promptly at 730 every morning. Before they began my project, all the materials were sitting in my garage, the tile was covered in cardboard, and plastic was covering the stairs and the hallway. They cleaned up their workspace at the end of everyday and make significant effort to keep the disruption at a minimum. For the amount of work they did, this was a relatively painless process. No other contractor will ever work on this house. Top quality, reliable, pleasant to have in your home and significant attention to detail. I would tell anyone doing a remodel to make your first and only call to N & C. The finished product is amazing, and I still can't believe the bathroom is in my house and mine to use every day!

We cannot say enough good things about N&C construction, our entire experience was amazing. We wanted to add a bar area to our finished basement. Nelson, the owner came to our house twice to discuss our ideas and concerns. He came up with a better idea that we had never thought of and it transformed our entire basement. We worked with a designer and picked out cabinets and flooring that fit into our budget for the project. Each of the N&C workers that worked on our project were extremely professional and friendly. Jessica who runs this office was very easy to deal with in regard to the financial side of the project. They also checked in during each step of the project to ensure we were happy and satisfied. They were great with both my kids and my dog. We thought the process was very easy, quick, and the finished product was beautiful. We think the difference with N&C Construction is that they are a family owned business and still believe in the core values of a hard day’s work and running a successful business. If you are looking for a quality job done and not feeling pressured then Nelson and his team are for you.

My experience in my bathroom remodeling job exceeded my expectations with N&C Construction. The team at N&C is very thorough, professional & timely and they were very helpful in guiding me through my decision making process on selecting the materials and layout of my new bathroom. However, more impressive was the attention to detail on every aspect of this complete renovation of my brand new bathroom. From the studs to the finishing touches I now have a beautiful bathroom that I only envisioned in my mind but in person looks better than I even expected.
