Dave Nielson (Nielson Homes) and his team are fantastic! We began working with Dave 2 years ago with a master bathroom remodel and adding a portico entrance to our front door; we continue to hire Dave for our projects because of how terrific our experience has been. All the experts Dave has brought in to work on projects have delivered. They have done excellent work, been very timely, cleaned up, been polite and respective of our space; in addition, they have recommended alterations when necessary. Pricing is very fair, timelines are kept. The brainstorming on how to solve a problem is interactive. Dave is generous with his time and ideas. During the pandemic, everyone who has worked in our house has been very concientious. Our next project is basement improvements including a new bathroom/laundry area. I have no doubt that the work will be top-notch. Thank you!

Dave is a man of his word and he and his team do quality work We engaged Dave to do a substantial renovation of our home - kitchen, master bathroom and 4 other bathrooms, build a whole new 3rd floor, floor color, and paint The work got started just as the pandemic was starting to take off, Dave and his team did an amazing job of securing all the permits needed, procuring all the materials, and completing all of the work on time for us to be able to move in by the July 4 holiday Dave does an excellent job of setting realistic expectations and drives hard to meet the deadlines which he did He also does an excellent job of keeping us well informed of the progress and is also efficient in how he engages us to make key design decisions The contractors he brings in for various tasks are excellent craftsman and also very professional and courteous We highly recommend Dave for your next major home renovation or new home build / he is truly best of breed

Dave and his team made all the additional efforts required to contend with and manage the changes in permits, approvals, job access, resource availability, and schedules brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. He was able to complete a quality renovation of our bathrooms and bedrooms on-budget. The new flooring and showers, in particular, look amazing. It was a pleasure to work with Dave and his team.

Dave recently completed an expansion and complete renovation of our bathroom. Projects like this are disruptive, but Dave worked to mitigate the inconveniences. The completed project work was top notch and Dave took care of all the small details. David and his group of sub- contractors did a wonderful job. We hired him to renovate our guest bathroom and add a portico to the front of our house. Both were done well, on time and on budget. We are very happy and have received many compliments on how great the house looks!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Neilson Homes. Dave's attention to detail was incredible. All of the subcontractors were kind, considerate and truly enjoyable to be around. Dave's communication was also wonderful -- if there were delays or just times when workmen weren't around, he'd communicate regularly as to why (ie. waiting on an inspection) and let us know when to expect people. I also appreciated how respectful and aware of our home -- he would ask how music was, how interactions were with all of his subs. As we wound down our project, Dave personally helped make sure all of the punch-list items were completed. The craftsmanship and quality of all of the work done was beautiful. We have received so many compliments already and have truly enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish with Dave. We HIGHLY recommend.

Seeing that it's been just over a year after our master bathroom/closet remodel, we are happy to say that EVERYTHING that Neilson homes has completed has surpassed our expectations. Working with Dave and his team on our kitchen remodel was a fantastic experience. Dave responded to all phone calls and e-mails promptly. Outstanding Experience. This somewhat challenging project was completed with great professionalism and care. DAVID IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND PAYS A GREAT DEAL OF ATTENTION TO DETAILS. His scheduling and management of the subcontractors was very impressive. All of David's subcontractors were very polite, clean and punctual. The project consisted of converting a professional office into an attached garage. The office had to be completely gutted prior to the rehab. David left the job spotlessly clean and ready for usage.

Dave and his team just completed a kitchen renovation for us. You should hire Dave if you are looking for A++++ work that is completed on time by a professional, honest, reliable, friendly guy who loves to please his clients but treats them with respect as he would a friend. Dave's company has done several projects for me. His team is fantastic! The work is done meticulously, professionally and on-time. In addition, his workers always leave my home neat and pack away their tools at the end of each day. I have personally viewed Dave's larger projects and can attest to the fact that he not only has wonderful skills, but he has vision. This is a combination that is sometimes difficult to find. I could not have been more pleased with the work done on my home by Neilson Homes. The work was of top quality and on time as I had a short deadline to get my house on the market. I received daily updates about what work was going to be done each day and also accurate cost estimates. He had come highly recommended from a very exacting friend and while construction can be difficult, this project was done on time and I am very pleased with the results. I would be more than happy to give recommendations and already have to family members .

Dave is absolutely wonderful! I had some light construction work to be done at my house as well as a list of projects an arm long! Dave came in, organized it by professional and send over qualified professionals on his team to tackle each part of the job. Good work, good people, clean process and a straightforward and reasonable price. I could not ask for more!

Initially, we hired Dave to turn our unfinished basement into a playroom and guest room. Halfway through the construction we threw him a curveball and decided to add a full bathroom into the project. The finished product exceeded our expectations in every way. Dave estimated it would take 6 weeks to complete, and he came in only a week behind that projection despite the addition of the bathroom. Additionally, the cost came in on budget despite various issues encountered. Dave had his subs on site every day, including weekends, and made every inspection deadline. We had no delays during the process. After a year of living with the finished basement, we have had no issues that have required a follow-up. Dave was great about finishing up all punch-list items outstanding after completion of the project. When we started the process, we weren't sure exactly what we wanted or what was possible given the space we had. Dave helped us create a space that best utilized the physical constraints of the room while at the same time being mindful of our desired aesthetic. He was professional and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone.
