We have been enjoying our new basement for a little over a month now. We were extremely pleased with the service, professionalism, and finished results we received from Omar and his team. We had a hard time envisioning a layout for basement. Omar provided a professional 3D rendering that really helped give us ideas to select the final layout. Considering our budget and needs, Omar and his team successfully brought to life our dream basement. Omar is extremely knowledgeable and gave us many wonderful ideas. He was also flexible throughout the construction process to some slight changes and additions during the project. I really appreciated Omar's easy going nature and honesty. I never once felt pressured or like I was being ripped off. He was also responsive to my texts, calls, and emails. Most importantly, the quality and craftsmanship of Omar's team's work is top notch. We just finished our basement one month ago and are very pleased with the great job that Northwest Remodeling & Services Company did. From the beginning, Omar and his brother, Andre, were very easy to work with. They unpretentiously listened to our ideas, our vision and very quickly put it on the 3D digital footprint. With expertise and professionalism, they guided us on how to build/finish and make our basement functional and comfortable. The workers were very professional, considerate and had very good attention to detail. Every area of the basement; the pool table and poker area, the elegant bar, the gym/exercise room, the media room and game area, the bedroom and finally the full bathroom were built as designed. We are thankful and very lucky to have found such a great crew to work with. We recommend them very strongly to anyone who is looking to finish or remodel their basement.

I met Omar after interviewing more than 10 basement finishing/remodelling contractors who claim to be the best in the industry. I was looking for someone who has the attention to detail and resources to carry out and complete the project to perfection. During the initial consultation visit, Omar patiently listened to what I desired and was willing to do anything to achieve the goal. Shortly after, I was emailed a very thorough and itemized job description along with a series of 3D sketches and floor plan showing the expected outcome. Omar's proposal was the top notch. It explained every steps in detail and the associated expenses. After reviewing it, I fully understood the entire process and payment structure. Omar was also available to answer some minor questions I had and tried his best to suggest ideas to cut down on costs. I've met and dealt with many tradesmen and by far, Omar was the most straight forward person with the most transparency. He showed his passion in his work and never hesitated to share his own experience and how much he tries to please his customers. I knew he was the right person to work with. Another great thing about his company is his team of diligent, punctual and respectful workers. I live in Naperville and go to work in Elgin. They are based in Elgin and come to Naperville to work in my basement. I know how long it takes to commute each morning and night and deeply appreciate that they always showed up on time and never left the job site until the end of the day. They were also willing to come out every Saturdays to work. Now the job is completed, we sort of miss them as we were just so used to greet them in the morning for the past couple of weeks. As for the cost, Omar's estimate was relatively reasonable and fairly competitive. Finishing a basement is rather an expensive investment, and it was a bit of a dilemma for me to start, but after this wonderful experience with the outstanding company, and seeing the outcome we desired and dreamed of, I have no regret at all. There is so much value in it, and it was well worth it! Every single penny well spent! We hired Omar to finish our basement after finding his business online. We interviewed five different potential contractors and knew as soon as he walked in our front door that we had found our contractor. Of the five, Omar’s estimate was not the least expensive (nor was it the highest, either), but we prioritized the gut feeling we had upon meeting him as the quality and affordability were just as much factors in our decision as was the relationship we felt with our contractor. Omar was not only friendly and professional, but it was immediately evident that he was passionate about his business, his clients, and their projects. During our initial consultation, Omar listened carefully to our ideas and vision for our basement while also contributing ideas and helpful considerations so that we had a solid plan in place to make the most of our space and to ensure it fit the needs of our family. It is worth noting that Omar was the only contractor we interviewed that worked with us instead of simply going into our basement and telling us what should be done as had been the experience with the other contractors we interviewed and met with. Omar has surrounded himself with an incredible crew and team of subcontractors. In addition to quality workmanship, Omar’s crew was unbelievably respectful of our home (not to mention very tidy; they cleaned up at the end of each working day!) and mindful of the people that were living there while they worked. I have two children--a 1-year old and a 4-year old--that remained curious about the basement construction project throughout the entire process. Every single person from Omar’s crew exhibited patience and kindness towards my children: answering their questions, demonstrating their tools, waving goodbye from their trucks at the end of the day, and tolerating countless unsolicited hugs. As a mother, I am forever grateful and always enjoy telling our friends and family about how Omar and his crew are frequently featured in my son’s artwork. To me, these relationships are so reflective of the type of business Omar runs and the people he employs and surrounds himself with. I initially was very concerned about hiring a stranger and having people that I didn’t know in my home. Having gone through the entire process, I realize my concerns were completely unfounded with Northwest Remodeling. Omar quickly transformed from a stranger to a partner. He was committed to making our basement project perfect. Whenever we hit an unforeseen construction or design roadblock, Omar’s resourcefulness, creativity and resilience shined. He always came back with a solution or options to keep the project moving forward and he never once sought a quick fix or an easy way out. We were continually impressed with his attention to detail, response to feedback, and response time/availability whenever we had a question or a concern. Our basement has now been finished for four months. I purposefully waited to write this review until after we had a chance to live and play in our newly finished space that includes a family media room, office, full bathroom, dry pantry, and the laundry room of my dreams. I can honestly say that the basement looks and works as great as the day it was finished. We had such a positive experience and look forward to working with Northwest Remodeling for our next custom home improvement project.

Omar and his crew did an amazing job on my bathroom. It is so beautiful and I love it! They respected my house. They tried to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum. When I had trouble making decisions, Omar was there to help me make the right one. Their work is very professional. Omar is different than other contractors. After you pay him, he is still there to answer any questions or fix any problems that may come up. I will definitely use them for future projects!

Recently had a bathroom done by Northwest Remodeling first, so I could see there work before I picked a contractor to complete my basement. Omar and his crew were amazing. Clean, respectful and completed on time. It was a no brainer to pick Northwest Remodeling for my basement finishing. Omar and his crew did not disappoint. Fantastic job, everything he promised and more. There are a few more things I would like to complete at my home, and now I have a contractor I can trust on every project. Good contractors are hard to find, but this one is great! He will not disappoint and you won't find a better value.
