Ocean has a terrific team of people to design and carry out the project. We did a new bathroom and they scheduled various contractor specialists to do the jobs. No two groups could be there at the same time. It all worked well. The contractors picked were all excellent. Their people were courteous and understanding to work through the problems encountered. Finally the end result was beyond what was expected. We enjoy the new room and are confidant that it will increase the value of our property.

We have a wonderful experience working with Ocean Builders on our home remodel. Our home was built in 1960 and we wanted to upgrade the home while keeping its mid-century integrity. Andy, Drew and their team of professional tradesmen and staff listened to our needs, found ways to work within our budget and were very patient. Our remodel required low bearing walls to be removed, we added on a concrete block master suite and enclosed a lanai using steel construction which provided solid structure without having to put in footers if we chose block. A great alternative and much better than wood. They paid close attention to detail finding a professional to match out unique plaster ceilings and matching the stucco work on the exterior of the home making the addition seamless. We felt Ocean Builders was a partner and they treated our project as if it were their own home. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again and hope to have the opportunity on any future projects we have.

We have done 4 major projects with Ocean Builders over a 13-year time span. They are top notch from the early idea stages to completion. They listen carefully and figure out how to do the difficult things, and make suggestions for better or more economic solutions. They have the best sub-contractors, because the subs can be choosy, and they know they can trust Ocean Builders.

Ocean Builders of Southwest Florida, Andy Werner, built a beautiful home for our family in downtown Sarasota. The design was traditional bungalow, featuring efficient use of the space while keeping a feeling of abundant space. Details and follow up were excellent. First class design and build project. On time and on budget! Andy and Ocean Builders are highly skilled, reliable builders and excellent communicators.

Andy and the team at Ocean Builders did a great job on a down to the studs renovation of our townhouse on Siesta Key. Flawlessly executed including a whole new kitchen and two bathrooms; very easy to work with and brought many good ideas to the project. We were managing remotely from Chicago and it could not have gone more smoothly. Using them again for flood reconstruction on the ground floor; highly recommended.

Ocean Builders completed a major remodel on our 30-yr old Sarasota home and we have been extremely pleased and very impressed with the entire process. They completely redid our kitchen, including moving a wall, expanding our island, and removing soffit lighting with a complete redesign of the work flow and lighting - we are so amazed at the open feel and workability of our new kitchen - it is AMAZING! Along with the kitchen work, we had them remove all our old tile flooring and replace it with beautiful saltillo tile, giving the major common areas of the house a warm and inviting feel. They helped us with several design updates around the fireplace and mantel that truly transformed our family room. All the work was done with impeccable quality, and communication about scheduling of the work was seamless. So many small details were taken care of easily and on schedule - we recommend them highly!

Andy, Drew and Beth helped us develop, create and build the master bedroom and bath of our dreams. We started with a drab, outdated, small space and end up with a beautiful, modern, spacious addition to our home that we could have only imagined. The project required moving and reconstructing both exterior and interior walls, plumbing, carpentry, windows, electric, flooring and paint. Love the results!

Outstanding work! Andy and Drew made our vision come to life with so much more then expected. They both care about every detail that goes into what they are building.

We built a 275 sq ft lanai outdoor kitchen addition to our home. We also installed pavers throughout our pool area and added a water feature to the pool. Andy and h=is subcontractors did a high quality job for us. The workmanship and finishing met our expectations. Andy was especially useful in making suggestions to enhance our designs with suggestions that helped create warmth and brought the space together. The project did take longer than either we or he anticipated, almost 2X as long. However, I'd use him again and would highly recommend Ocean Builders

Andy as well as his two sons Drew and Peter worked on our Siesta Key home remodel. Both they and their carpenters are extremely knowledgeable, thorough and an absolute pleasure to work with. They were great on every aspect of our very unique project and we all became friends by the end. We put on an entirely new "pitched" roof truss system over the top of our old flat roof and then tore out the main/common area from the INSIDE to vault the ceilings AND added a lanai all at the same time. This was a very large and tricky undertaking that took a lot of attention to detail and forward thinking as there were substantial unknown variables going into this project. We also encountered some severe rain storms and had an exposed roof at the time. This could have been disastrous but they handled the whole thing very professionally at every turn. They also went the extra mile to work through some last minute framing and truss adjustments to improve the overall "end result" appearance of the cypress tongue and grove vaulted ceilings. They turned out great and the finish carpenters did a seamlessly beautiful job on the ceilings! The entire outcome was absolutely amazing! We are from the midwest and are in the development and remodeling business back home so had a difficult time finding a contractor in FL comparable to the higher standard of quality, work ethic and honesty we are used to back home. We are extremely happy with the outcome of our project and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personable, extremely qualified, honest, trustworthy and reputable contractor that you can count on to not only meet but exceed expectations.

Ocean Builders is a first-rate operation, and Andy Werner is highly competent and reliable. Ocean Builders completely remodeled our condo on Golden Gate Point in Sarasota, including new walls and ceiling.

Ocean Builders did a whole-house down to the studs remodel for us in 2011. The results are spectacular, better than we could have hoped for. All the subcontractors were professional, timely and highly skilled. Andy listened to what we wanted and could afford, and planned and executed accordingly. We always felt we were in good hands. When it came time to turn a rotting/disfunctional back porch (2015) into something useful, we again hired Ocean Builders. We now have a beautiful, functional, screened porch with outdoor kitchen. We have nothing left to renovate, or we would hire them again!

Ocean Builders did a great job on a big project, roofing a large beachfront property. A pleasure to do business with them and we can highly recommend their work.
