O'Kane Construction is a company I would recommend. Mr O'Kane's attention to detail and my needs and concerns were addressed and attended to. Quality of work is 1st class. The work took slightly longer than estimated but that was due to a part of the project that was beyond Mr O'Kane's control. Our living room is now a more comfortable and enjoyable place to be.

Finbar is a true professional. Our 2 story addition was completed on time and on budget. His team is very experienced and are able to perform any size project. I'm definitely using O'Kane for all future home renovation and improvement projects.

O'Kane Construction is the absolute best! They've been my "go to" contractor for 10 years, and have done multiple renovations in multiple homes, including a full Kitchen / First Floor remodel in 2006 in a center city townhouse, and a master bedroom and walk-in closet remodel in a suburban home (they do it all - big projects and small). Extremely responsive, fairly priced, completely transparent. A couple weeks ago, I discovered that our basement had flooded and texted Finbarr O'Kane at 7:30am. Within one hour, his team was there with blowers to dry the basement, and a bunch of guys to tear out the moldy drywall. I couldn't recommend Finbarr O'Kane and his team more highly.

Finbarr O'Kane completed a renovation of our foyer and second-floor hallway. The project included removal of the previous chair rail and baseboard, patching and painting the walls, and adding new wainscoting in the foyer. Finbarr was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt and efficient, his prices were reasonable, and the results of his work made a tremendous difference in our home's appearance. I highly recommend Finbarr's services and look forward to working with him again!

Finbar and his team remodeled a bathroom and a bedroom in my new Cape Cod house in Phoenixville. From beginning to end, Finbar listened to my needs, did anything I wanted without complaint, and the finished job looks amazing. There were perhaps a few tiny spots that weren't QUITE perfect, but as Finbar now knows, I'm a true stickler for the details. And in addition to the great work, Finbar was amazingly friendly and personable and a joy to have around the house for the duration of the project.

About five years ago, Finbarr O'Kane renovated our kitchen. His pricing was reasonable, his timing was pretty much what he said it would be, and the individual tradesmen he worked with were great. He was strong on quality control, and his people were careful to clean up and respectful of the property. I highly recommend him!

We thought replacing the kitchen appliances in our recently purchased home would be a simple project, but challenges required hiring a contractor. Fortunately O'Kane was recommended! O'Kane worked with us and the appliance store in selecting the dishwasher, drop in range and refrigerator that would fit. The contractor was always on time, neat, and made sure during the installation process he did not damage the existing floor and marble counter top.

We hired O'Kane Construction to redesign/reconstruct an existing addition and install a new powder room. Removing 3 existing doors and 2 windows and replacing with a new door and windows-two new skylights- new siding and a beautiful new Armstrong varying widths floor. A radiator had to be moved and a new baseboard unit installed- drywall and baseboards and molding all done and all look great. The owner and workers were patient through several changes and were always polite and respectful. They checked in if there was a decision to be made and cleaned up at the end of each day. The owner was willing to work with us in the beginning trying different options to figure out which plan would fit our budget. We are extremely pleased with our updated space and extra bathroom and would - without a doubt - recommend O'Kane Construction!

We hired O'Kane Construction to finish our basement in 2014. We'd flirted with using them a few years earlier to redo our kitchen before our own budget fell apart but we had really liked what we'd seen from Finbarr during that process so we went back to him for our basement. Others may come in with a lower initial estimate, but Finbarr is honest about what he thinks the job will really take. He also constantly makes constructive suggestions for different ways to do jobs that maintain quality and reduce price. When all was said and done, though a hidden issue did push our costs up very slightly overall, our initial estimate held true. During the actual job, we were in constant contact with Finbarr despite often going days without actually seeing each other. We were always able to reach out via email / text / phone as needed and know that we would get a timely response. Our job was estimated to take 4 weeks and - despite losing at least 2-3 days to winter weather - the crew finished up as promised exactly 28 days after start. At times this included working weekends / evenings to keep on schedule with inspections / drywall / etc... O'Kane Construction did what they needed to do to keep things moving along. Finally, the work done met / exceeded our expectations. Visitors to the house love to see what we did with the basement and universally praise what they see. We highly recommend O'Kane Construction and will be using them again this summer to finally do that kitchen job.

O'kane Construction did a complete remodel on our kitchen including removing two walls, all new flooring, cabinets, electrical, lighting and it looks amazing! Finbarr gave us a price for the project and that is what we paid. We had some issues with cabinets and Finbarr came back over a year later to fix them for us. Finbarr and his team did a great job and our kitchen is totally transformed.

As I write this I am sitting in my new sun poorch during a snow storm, enjoying the view from my new windows and the warmth from the radiant heat floor. O'Kane Construction took my old sun porch that we could not use and did a complete renovation takeing care of all details. When I wanted to use my own window provider he was willing and able to work with him. All along the way Finbarr kept me in the loop and came to me with necessary decsions and quesitons. Deadlines were met within a good amount of time and the work and workers were all nice and professional. I would use tehm again.
