We completely gutted a home on Linda Isle. Kane Cassidy is one of the most ethical, disciplined , kind contractors! He was timely , clean , honest and kept us posted. We were done on time and for what we did, Kane was very fair. Full disclosure is I went to school with Kane and consider him a good friend! For this reason, I did more investigation on his referrals because I value his friendship. The old saying, “Don’t do business with friends.” I would do business with Kane Cassidy any day! He did an amazing job and so do his subs. If there are any issues, Kane is a call away and he is on it ! Spoiled ! Thank you and a shout out to his staff and Johnny ZARVOS Electrican! Leilani is invaluable as his bookkeeper and staff!

Amazing contractor and staff! Always available during and AFTER the project was finished on time and with no delays! We can call or text Kane anytime and he is THERE! In the midst of my search for a contractor to bring my home renovation to reality, a friend told me about the great experience she & her husband had had with Kane Cassidy, Olive Tree Construction. From my first meeting with Kane and his right-hand, LeiLani, I was impressed. They got right to work organizing walk-thrus with subs & pulling together estimates. Soon, we had an agreed upon scope (new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, electrical & upgrades throughout) and a corresponding budget; the work proceeded without a hitch. Kane and his team paid close attention to all the details; they were responsive to my questions & requests; and provided valuable guidance to me throughout the project. We purchased an older home tore it down and rebuilt. Once we hired Olive Tree we had no regrets. The project was seamless. Throughout construction the team was professional, an occasional glitch was quickly resolved. Kane introduced himself to the neighbors and was considerate of their concerns. Remodeling houses is my curse or addiction. I am experienced. I discovered Kane Cassidy and Olive Tree Construction when another friend remarked so favorably about him. Olive Tree has completed two major projects on my Newport Beach home within the last 4 years. My projects have involved exterior walls, kitchens, bathrooms, windows, paint, cabinets, design, everything. The sub-contractors always performed. Work is quality. Kane is not only responsible, but creative and responsive. He is the only contractor I can remember still liking at the end of the project. I just completed a 500K remodel with Kane. The quality of work was excellent. He is very easy to do business with and his subs were the same. I did the remodel remotely for the most part and we communicated regularly via video on the internet. He reported all progress including all budgeted items on a regular basis. I was very pleased with the results and would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

I believe, The best recommendation a person can give a Building Contractor is to invite him back into your home for a second major renovation; That is why in January 2014 Olive Tree Construction and Kane Cassidy will begin another major remodel to my home, abet in another area. My first remodel was major. It ran from 2009 to 2011. I replaced most of my floors, Tore the kitchen and laundry room down to the studs and created a completely new floor plan. This required replacing a shear wall and almost every other interior wall. The existing ducts were moved and new ones created. A powder room was moved and we required major plumbing and electrical changes. Also, we made considerable decorative architectural refinements. Throughout the entire 18 months of renovating, Olive Tree Construction had subs on the job every day. Further, because of Kane Cassidy's excellent reputation, he was able to get the most experienced and sought after sub- contractors to work on my project. Kane Cassidy personally helped me find abandoned space behind walls; then he utilized that space to create a much larger area. (see before and after photos). He also devised a way to completely hide my under cabinet lights and built AC return vents from stone, not metal. These and other features gave me the kitchen of my dreams. We lived in a small portion of the house while the remodel was occurring. Mr. Cassidy, Olive Tree Costruction Owner, gave everyone who worked on this project a list of rules and requested they follow them. These items included clean up, noise, smoking etc. that made if possible for us to remain in our home the entire time. This saved us a great deal of money. Budget was held in place due to careful supervision and, because sub contractors were on the job every day, we finished before scheduled. My next project is also major and will involve a large master bedroom and Bath and an equally large closet. I know with Kane at the helm the outcome will be stunning, the budget at or under what we have discussed and that it will be completed on time.

I was told of Kane's work by several associates in my real estate business and then heard raves about his work and work ethics, which I saw to be worthy of the good words. So I gave his name to a client who I had just sold a fairly large home to that needing some updating. He was reasonable in his pricing, extremely helpful and they are very happy working with Kane on their extensive remodel of their new home. I would reccommend him to anyone looking to build or remodel in the area. He is a real pleasure to deal with and true to his word.

Kane Cassidy from Olive Tree Construction was the general contractor for the project which included a full remodel down to the frame with new windows, doors, heating, water and electrical systems. The entire project was finished on time within 6 months. Major architectural changes were made including huge sliding glass doors in the living room as well as other structural changes. All sub-contractors were selected by Olive Tree Construction. They all performed well at excellent quality and stayed within the agreed budgets. I can highly recommend Kane and his company as the main contractor for construction projects.
