I worked with Ed's company to remodel my Watertown condo this fall. Team did a get job coming up with a design and project plan to remodel my kitchen and make cosmetic updates throughout the rest of the home. Project started promptly, communication was clear and pricing was transparent. I appreciated Ed's flexibility as we made minor changes through out the process, but still kept the project on track. End result looked great. I highly recommend them.

Oteri Construction renovated 2.5 bathrooms and our basement. The work was completed to the highest standard and any issues that arose during the project were dealt with professionally and in a timely fashion. Ed Oteri and Fernando pride themselves on delivering top-class workmanship and are excellent at problem-solving. After each days work, the house was cleaned and great care was taken to avoid too much dust around the house during renovation. Ed and his fantastic team did a massive kitchen renovation on our new house in Medford last year, and we've continued the relationship because we love working with him (and with his wife Jennifer) so much. The entire crew feels like family to us. We were first-time homeowners with a lot of work to get done. We found Ed through very close friends of ours who had similarly worked with him for years on their historic home in Winchester. So we knew he was careful and conscientious even before we met with him; what we didn't know was just how FUN the whole thing would be, too! Over the ~4 months of our kitchen reno--which included major structural work in the basement and in order to raise the ceiling--we met with Ed and with Jennifer for drinks and dinner, would discuss work plans as well as family, and we ended up both with a gorgeous kitchen and a really warm relationship. Ed and Jennifer were fantastic partners through a massive, at-times stressful project: they took the lead where needed, let us express our design ideas when we wanted, guided us when it was necessary, and what came together in the end felt like the whole group had ownership. It made us feel like we really designed and built the kitchen of our dreams, not someone else's dreams or just something pulled from a magazine or Pinterest board. In looking through their design portfolio, as spectacular as many of the other projects are, we still think ours is so unique. Ed has been in our house since then, along with his superlative right-hand man Fernando (who is a master carpenter), to fix some issues in our bathroom and to throw around ideas for a future major bathroom renovation a few years from now. We won't hesitate to work with him again, for his responsiveness, for his forthrightness about cost (no surprises!), for the build-quality and finish, and for that sense of humor we've grown to love! He really is the best.

Ed and his crew did an awesome job on three major projects in our grand 1841 Italianate home: kitchen renovation, which included removing an old chimney and structural wall, basement renovation, and high-end garage with pergola and patio. I am a designer by trade and thus very particular. Things have to look beautiful and function perfectly. Ed was patient, listened to my ideas, and worked with me to make my ideas a reality. He was practical and offered advice on the feasibility and cost, which I much appreciated. He brought in all the best tradesmen as needed for stonework, plastering, etc. He is honest and true to his word, which is rare indeed in this business. Oteri Construction was exceptional, from design ideas and planning through completion. We took down multiple walls, reinforced structures and remodeled an adjoining kitchen, dining room, bathroom and foyer. Oteri stayed within budget, even while meeting our changing needs, and far exceeded our every expectation upon completion. We can't help but wonder why we didn't hire Ed and his team years ago! We had a kitchen and bathroom renovation as well as added on an entire family room starting with a foundation. Oteri Construction, Inc. was professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. We initially hired an interior designer to assist with the lay out of new kitchen space, cabinets, etc., however, Oteri was able to provide us not only with plans but also the kitchen cabinets we wanted. The employees who work with Oteri respected our privacy and were timely and courteous. Communication is important between contractor and customer and we always felt listened to throughout the entire process.
